It consists of linear brushless direct current motor (LM), transistor pulse power controller and digital control system, which gets feedback signals from three magnetic flux sensors on the winding of LM. A parabolic partial differential equation is used to describe the thermal heating process. Control objective is to provide desired thermal distribution and transient performances in presence of an unknown extemal distributed disturbance and time-varying parameter. MM and THz waves ensure better spatial resolution than microwaves and they can be used for material testing in media that are opaque for optical and infrared radiation. Whenever dielectric components are used in MM and THz wavebands, a precise knowledge of the dielectric properties of the material is essential.
