This modelling is more difficult because conversion process is more complicated and inputs more numerous: beam solar irradiance, ambient temperature and wind speed but also the spectral decomposition of the sun radiation depending on the atmosphere state and thickness. This paper presents an overview of electrical power models applied to a system installed at Ajaccio - Corsica. Results note that only DNI (Direct Normal Irradiance), Tair and AM (Air Mass) could be necessary to have a good evaluation of the power with a RMSE under 4.6 %.","PeriodicalId":425888,"journal":{"name":"16TH INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON CONCENTRATOR PHOTOVOLTAIC SYSTEMS (CPV-16)","volume":"142 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-11-09","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124690729","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

PXRD pattern and FT-IR spectra confirm the formation of highly crystalline metal oxides in a very short time. We also studied the influence of fuel to oxidizer ratio (F/O ratio) on the formation of these nanocrystalline oxides. Thermal stability of the samples was investigated using TG-DSC technique. Surface morphology indicated the formation of porous structure. This synthesis process is an economical method for the preparation of nanocrystalline metal oxides with regard to energy, time and simplicity. The above reactions carried out outside the microwave reactor did not result in any products of similar kind.","PeriodicalId":425888,"journal":{"name":"16TH INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON CONCENTRATOR PHOTOVOLTAIC SYSTEMS (CPV-16)","volume":"26 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-11-09","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133932268","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

With increasing power of the optical emission to be converted, the influence exerted by connecting tunnel diodes on the efficiency of multijunction photoelectric converters becomes more pronounced. To provide the maximum efficiency of multijunction photoelectric converters, the connecting tunnel diodes must have a high density of the peak tunneling current, low differential resistance, and maximum optical transparency to minimize the optical loss. Efforts were made in the study to develop high-efficiency connecting p++–i–n++ tunnel diodes on the basis of GaAs/AlGaAs structures grown by molecular-beam epitaxy, with peak tunneling current of up to 200 A/cm2. These types of tunnel diodes are to be used as connecting elements in multijunction concentrator solar cells and high-power multijunction photoelectric converters based on III-V materials.","PeriodicalId":425888,"journal":{"name":"16TH INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON CONCENTRATOR PHOTOVOLTAIC SYSTEMS (CPV-16)","volume":"22 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-11-09","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115125741","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The effect of UV-Ozone treatment of PEDOT:PSS buffer layer on charge carrier mobility of devices is so far not studied. Here, we examine the effect of UV-Ozone exposure of PEDOT:PSS on charge carrier mobility of ITO/PEDOT:PSS/CuPc/Al devices by impedance spectroscopy. It is found that the uv-ozone treatment improves the charge carrier mobility in the devices. The mobility values of devices with PEDOT:PSS treated for various time periods of 20min, 40min and 60 min are characterized and it has been seen that treatment for 20-40 min returned best results.","PeriodicalId":425888,"journal":{"name":"16TH INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON CONCENTRATOR PHOTOVOLTAIC SYSTEMS (CPV-16)","volume":"68 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-11-09","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134575215","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The study gives new insights on the effects of light irradiation on the antibacterial activity of CeO2. In the present study, the CeO2 NPs are synthesized by controlled sol - gel methods. The morphological and optical properties of the nanoparticles are investigated using Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM), Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), X-ray diffractometer (XRD) and UV-Vis spectrophotometer (UV-Vis). The TEM analyzes reveals the size of the synthesized CeO2 NPs as 20±5 nm. The XRD patterns confirm the presence of cubic fluorite structure of CeO2 NPs. The antibacterial activity of CeO2 NPs is examined against Staphylococcus aureus (S. aureus) and Escherichia coli (E. coli). The study discloses that the CeO2 NPs exhibit inhibitory effects against S. aureus bacteria in the presence of light, at low nanoparticle concentration (1.5g/L). But it in the absence of light irradiation, no bacterial inhibitory effects are observed. The study foresees the usage of CeO2 nanoparticles as a switchable nontoxic antibacterial agent which can be used for variety of biological applications.","PeriodicalId":425888,"journal":{"name":"16TH INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON CONCENTRATOR PHOTOVOLTAIC SYSTEMS (CPV-16)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-11-09","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129357981","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
