In Africa for example, there are so many indigenous languages that can be easily exploited by insurgents to perpetrate evil. Hausa language is spoken by about 5% of Africa's population estimated to be 1.3Billion. In this paper, we carried out the statistical analysis of the alphabets of this language spoken mostly in the West Africa sub-region. The research estimated following: The probabilities of its 24 alphabets, The probabilities of two-letter words (digram) and the probabilities of three-letter words (trigrams) using a completed undergraduate Hausa language project containing 89,335 characters. The results obtain can be lever-aged upon by cryptanalysts to break ciphers (substitution or transposition) constructed in this language.","PeriodicalId":425637,"journal":{"name":"2020 2nd International Conference on Computer and Information Sciences (ICCIS)","volume":"7 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-10-13","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124481883","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

NN with error feedbacks is a type of NNs that showed more accurate forecasts compared to feedforward NNs and NNs with output feedbacks with some forecasting problems. The main issue with NN s with error feedbacks appears when there is a need for recursive multi-step forecast strategy because the observed values must be known in order to calculate network errors. This paper proposes to use the last calculated error after finishing training NNs with error feedbacks because the observed values are unknown. This last calculated error is used as a fixed value when producing forecasts using recursive multi-step forecast strategy. For that, this paper investigated this simple solution with a NN with error feedback called the ridge polynomial neural network with error feedback (RPNN-EF). Carbon dioxide emissions for three countries in the organization of the petroleum exporting countries (OPEC) were used in this investigation. The forecasting accuracy of RPNN-EF was compared with seven forecasting methods. According to the obtained results, on average, the proposed solution produces reasonable forecasts compared to the seven forecasting methods. Therefore, this solution can be suggested for NNs with error feedbacks for recursive multi-step forecast strategy.","PeriodicalId":425637,"journal":{"name":"2020 2nd International Conference on Computer and Information Sciences (ICCIS)","volume":"81 11","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-10-13","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131879097","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The technique that has been used is parallel genetic algorithm, since parallel genetic algorithm require high speed of CPU in order to generate the result, yet high performance of CPU will require additional cost, with the use of GPU it is proven that the speed of the GPU is 100 times faster than the CPU which can shorten the duration in generating the code and result. The result will be in binary format which is the best chromosome that will be selected used as the design for the coating structure. This paper will cover the study of GPU and CUDA platform and analyze the result of the coating. The simulation result of the coating structure will be compare with different glass width or border and different frequency with same material and same coating structure design. On the other hand, the proliferation of cloud users is causing the expansion of more data centres that require a lot of power. As such, it triggered the problem of energy consumption in data centre storage systems and emission of carbon footprints in the cloud environments. To mitigate the problems, many approaches based on hybrid GA-PSO were proposed in the literature for tasks scheduling in the cloud infrastructure to efficiently manage cloud resources, enhance energy efficiency and quality of service (QoS). The already discussed GA-PSO typically applied randomization in generating initial population. However, in solving tasks scheduling problems, randomness slows convergence speed of the algorithm. In this paper, we propose an enhanced hybrid of Genetic algorithm (GA) and Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) (GA-PSO) by applying small position values (SPV) to generate initial population to deviate from the limitation of the randomness and improve convergence speed. The proposed enhance GA-PSO with SPV is applied to efficiently schedule tasks to cloud computing resources. The result indicated that the propose GA-PSO perform better than the classical hybrid GA-PSO algorithm in terms of makespan and resource utilization.","PeriodicalId":425637,"journal":{"name":"2020 2nd International Conference on Computer and Information Sciences (ICCIS)","volume":"107 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-10-13","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132233747","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

As we have tried to answer whether adding multi-reference mapping of sonification to auditory graphs could improve the point estimation accuracy in nonvisual condition. We also emphasize the efficiency of the performance of multi-reference graphs using timbre to make them as efficient as mapping using a single pitch. The design of the study was different from the earlier study, who found that multi-reference mapping took a long time against single pitch mapping in auditory graphs. The results help provide empirical evidence that the multi-reference mode provides more accurate results than the single-pitch mode. The evaluation confirms that adding contexts to auditory graphs such as markers could improve the perception of auditory graphs.","PeriodicalId":425637,"journal":{"name":"2020 2nd International Conference on Computer and Information Sciences (ICCIS)","volume":"39 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-10-13","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121043067","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Ransomware or ransom malware is a type of malware that restricts users from accessing their files or system and demands a ransom payment to get back access to files. The hacked files are encrypted and asked for payment to decrypt and redeliver the files back to the user. To regain access back to hacked files one has to make digital payment. Ransomware of this type is dangerous as it hacks all the files and fails all the security methods available on the system also the possibility for retrieving your file is zero percent. Even if the payment is done still one cannot be sure that files will be delivered back to the user. The earliest ransomware came into existence in 1980, at that time one has to pay through snail mail. Ransomware is considered as the most widespread malware since 1989 and had caused global financial losses both to individuals and big organizations. Every year this loss is increasing. Therefore, protection of our data from ransomware is necessary. Today, originators of ransomware demand for payment via bitcoins or cryptocurrency. This paper provides the detailed overview about ransomware, its evolution, the reasons for paying or not paying a ransom, the existing approaches to avoid this problem, and the recovery techniques in case of infection.","PeriodicalId":425637,"journal":{"name":"2020 2nd International Conference on Computer and Information Sciences (ICCIS)","volume":"32 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-10-13","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115963010","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

On this research will discuss the performances of the ECB when the form of the surface of a conductor be varied. Methods used are finite element method (FEM) to view the braking torque and changing magnetic flux, the design and the size of the ECB based on a conventional hydraulic braking system. A flat plate (uniform) will be a reference for comparison to see the braking characteristics of the ECB if the surface is given a groove. Groove variations include half-circle, square, triangular, and sawtooth, which will run at speeds of 150 to 750 rpm. The result on the half-circle variation has a different trend from the others, sawtooth has the highest average braking torque, while the triangular is lowest.","PeriodicalId":425637,"journal":{"name":"2020 2nd International Conference on Computer and Information Sciences (ICCIS)","volume":"46 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-10-13","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127118641","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
