Voyager is a complex Java tool, made by Objectspace. It integrates different technologies such as RMI, CORBA, and mobile agent technology. During the work I have created an isolated local network, written a test application and databases and made some efficiency tests. I have compared two different kinds of communication between hosts (different and the same architectures) with databases based on standard ORB communication and by introducing mobility for objects. The purpose of the investigation is to find out if and when mobility is better than the classical client-server model for communication.","PeriodicalId":424812,"journal":{"name":"IEEE-Siberian Workshop of Students and Young Researches. A method of modeling communication systems on the basis of differential spectrum transformations (see Pukhov G.E., 1986) is offered. The purpose of this work is the development of the theory of differential transformations and to develop on this basis the methodology of optimization and discretization of systems. The new approaches to modeling, connected with discretization on the basis of differential transformation and subsequent processing of differential spectrum are offered in the research. Our investigations show the principle possibility of improvement of the communication system technical characteristics and, in particular, systems with a distributed spectrum as a result of optimization by means of the differential transformations of signals. An experimental mock-up of the delta-pulsing communication system from ready functional units was created. It took the form of a microwave link in an urban environment. Audibility of the accepted speech signal was wholly sufficient for understanding a message.","PeriodicalId":424812,"journal":{"name":"IEEE-Siberian Workshop of Students and Young Researches. The article presents analysis and description of the system, and of problems and conclusions which occurred during designing, implementing and testing the system. The main aim for creating the system was to assure cohesion between data stored in databases located in scientific centres. Communication among the databases is based on mobile agent technology integrated with the CORBA standard. The system was designed taking into consideration many different states, possible faults and conflict situations, which can occur during common work. I did not impose any restriction on database operators' work (timing of modification, creation or deletion of records, switching off servers etc.) or on operation of the network. This system was designed as fully independent of all the above situations, so it is possible to integrate it with different existing databases systems.","PeriodicalId":424812,"journal":{"name":"IEEE-Siberian Workshop of Students and Young Researches. There have been impressive rates of evolution from circuit switching (CS) to packet switching (PS) and IP protocols; from monoservice voice systems, operating on CS principles, to multiservice PS system for integrated transmission of fast data, voice, video etc. with differentiation and quality of service (QoS) control. The amount of traffic with access to broadband Internet services is rapidly increasing. The time principles of payment are substituted by accounts for data volume and quality of service. The new technologies require development of new methods of traffic theory, optimization and design. It is necessary to change from one-dimensional Erlang models for homogeneous traffic in point-to-point channels to develop the theory of the multi-dimensional distributed queues with priority service for integrated traffic in multi-point radio channels with multiple access. This article presents such new methods for the analysis of traffic, optimization and dynamic QoS control for 3rd generation mobile networks, taking GPRS systems as an example. The offered solutions are based on the development of a numerical method of balancing traffic intensities (see Markhasin, A.B., 2nd All-Union Confer. on Multiple Access Systems, pt1, p.146-52, 1999; Markhasin, A.B. and Kokoreva, E.V., Proc. VI Business-Forum \"Mobile Systems'01\", vol.1, pp.175-81, 2001), and also on the development of our results concerning the analysis of traffic, optimization and dynamic QoS control in integrated packet satellite and radio ATM networks (see Markhasin, IEEE Int. In practice, to achieve the required level of defence, it is necessary to resort to screening the radiations and limiting the spatial availability of these radiations to the potential malefactor or to increase the noise level of all possible frequency bands of potentially informative radiations. The first variant is very expensive and is not always realizable, and the second variant results in a problem with the electromagnetic compatibility of all complex electronic equipment in the office. Therefore, at present, significant attention is given to non-power ways of active privacy from leakage of information on spurious electrical radiation channels. In comparison with noise interference, masking stochastic interferences, formed from useful signals by the method of statistically irreversible transformations, are functionally coupled to the signal and contain the so-called undistorted remainder of the signal and the interfering component. From the point of view of the useful signal, there is an interference of two components (the useful signal and the undistorted remainder to which is added the interfering component) and the given. interference is simultaneously multiplicative and additive. The fluctuating part of the interfering signal, called the interfering component, influences additively on the signal and diminishes the signal-to-noise ratio.","PeriodicalId":424812,"journal":{"name":"IEEE-Siberian Workshop of Students and Young Researches.
