The study used primary and secondary data. The primary data consist of a structured questionnaire in a five-point Likert scale format administered to three hundred and forty (340) respondents, comprising of owners/managers of agro-allied businesses in North-central, Nigeria that were randomly selected representing the target population of the study. While the secondary data comprised of information sourced from records of institutions in the agriculture sector among the agro-allied owners and managers, as well as from published sources. The data was analyzed using Statistical Packages for Social Sciences as well as Z-test to test the formulated null hypothesis. The findings revealed that ecopreneurial practices have significant influences on the competitive advantage of agro-allied businesses in North Central Nigeria. The study recommends among other things; that the Nigeria government should strengthen its external relations towards establishing national standards for the quality of the environment and the implementation of the environmental regulations. They should take further proactive measures through state-level ministries of environment to encourage the ecopreneurs to develop more environmentally friendly products and as well as enhance their level of involvement in a green production practice.","PeriodicalId":423908,"journal":{"name":"Singaporean Journal of Business Economics and Management Studies","volume":"17 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125658558","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The study adopted survey design. Three research questions were raised to guide the study. The population of the study consisted of nine hundred and fourty-four (944) undergraduate students. Two hundred and seventy four (274) students were sampled using proportionate sampling technique. Questionnaire was the instrument used in collecting data and the instrument was validated by three experts in the Department of Business Education, Aminu Saleh College of Education, Azare. A reliability of 0.74 was obtained using split-half method. Frequency table and percentage was used in answering the research questions. Findings from the study revealed that undergraduate students have acquired entrepreneurial knowledge and equally have strong intention of establishing and managing their own businesses after graduation. In view of the findings, it was recommended that there should be easy access to micro-credit for the graduates who are interested in starting a business after graduation.","PeriodicalId":423908,"journal":{"name":"Singaporean Journal of Business Economics and Management Studies","volume":"69 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124225891","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The study was performed by modeling method, and the problem was solved in three different sizes (small, medium and large) to show the efficiency of the model and the proposed solution methods. Some common test problems in the literature were selected and the required characteristics of the problem under study were defined for them as needed, since there are no sample test problems in the literature to examine the performance of the developed algorithms. The results indicated that some of the most important parameters affecting the designed mathematical model were movement risks, fatigue and drowsiness while driving, demands at the source node, demands at the destination node, number of vehicles across the network, the time interval between requests, and the time interval between two consecutive requests. The mentioned parameters were so effective that little changes in parameters such as demands at the source node, demands at the destination node, and the number of vehicles across the network significantly increased time and decreased profitability. the company has a significant effect on the debt cost rate and capital cost rate and does not have a significant effect on stock prices. Finally, the share price shows little sensitivity to the company's financial structure.","PeriodicalId":423908,"journal":{"name":"Singaporean Journal of Business Economics and Management Studies","volume":"122 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128180690","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Embeddness of producer services will significantly enhance the competitiveness of the agricultural clusters, with lowering transaction costs, gathering advanced resources, fostering differentiated products and branding. We study the Shihe tea industry cluster in Henan province of China, and finds that, technology, finance, training, industrial group, conferences and exhibitions, and other producer services has a strong embeddness, and had a greater impact on enhancing the development of tea industry in Shihe. However, for producer services in Shihe develop too late, too dependent on government, and lack of knowledgeintensive services promoting the cluster brand image, which limits their supports on upgrading of the tea industry cluster, and need to be further improved.","PeriodicalId":423908,"journal":{"name":"Singaporean Journal of Business Economics and Management Studies","volume":"22 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134546417","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
