The test subject used is class X majoring in OTKP SMK 1 Bojonegoro which consisting of 108 students. The assessment instruments developed totaling 30 item multiple choice questions. The assessment instruments developed also went through the validation stage of material experts, evaluation experts, and linguists with 97% results with œvery strong criteria. Assessment instrument on the basic competencies to implement an archive, alphabetical, chronological, geographical, number, and subject storage system in the Department of OTKP SMK 1 Bojonegoro is very feasible to use. The development model used in this study is the 4D model from Thiagarajan (Define-Design-Develop-Dessiminate). Disseminate stage was not carried out because this research only reached the development stage. This research was conducted on 20 students of class X OTKP 1 at SMK Negeri 1 Jombang. Instruments used in this study included validation sheets of material, language, graphics, and student response sheets using data analysis techniques on the results of the percentage of the feasibility of a pocket book. With the results of the validation of material experts by 90%, language experts by 80%, and graphic experts by 94%. The total validity of the whole validation was 89.75% with very proper interpretation. Based on students' responses got 96.4% results with very good interpretation. The type of research used is descriptive research using a qualitative approach. The subjects of the research were employees at the Blitar City Regional Library and Archives Service who had worked for more than three years. Data collection techniques using interviews, observation, and documentation, while data analysis techniques include data reduction, presentation, and drawing conclusions and verification. This type of research is a descriptive study using a qualitative approach. The subjects of this study were 3 administrative section employees. Data collection techniques used by researchers are interviews. In this study, researchers used a source triangulation method which conducted interviews with the Head of Administration of PT Artojoyo Langgeng Jaya Abadi (JH Tech Sidoarjo). The data analysis technique used by researchers is the analysis of Miles and Huberman data models consisting of data reduction, data display and conclusion drawing / verification. The results of research conducted indicate that the storage system is a date system. Storage system is done by date with a manual system but the storage system is not good, because it is not carried out in the order of storage steps according to the experts so that it results in an accumulation of archives and is not neatly organized and difficult to recover the records. Records retrieval procedure uses only one tool to rediscover the archive, which is an agenda book where employees must search the required archives one by one on the date stated so that it takes a long time and hinders the employee's performance in handling the records. The time needed is far from the standard search time, which is approximately 1 (one) minute per archive, while at PT Artojoyo Langgeng Jaya Abadi (JH Tech Sidoarjo) to find one archive takes 5 to 10 minutes. Barriers or problems often occur in the storage process that is confusion employees put the archive on the shelf because the storage space is narrow with increasing records. This is caused by the rapid development of technology. Almost all office work and administration are also assisted by existing technology, office work can be done effectively and efficiently. One of the biggest effects of technological advancements in the field of archives at present is the management of electronic records. This study aims to analysis the management of archive applications based on the Letter Application in the Department of Library and Archives of East Java Province. This research is a type of descriptive research with a qualitative approach. Research subjects were two employees in the dynamic records management section. Data collection techniques used were interviews, observation and documentation. The data analysis technique is data collection, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. Based on research conducted in the field states that the use of the Mail Application is only used as a place to enter data or collect data on incoming and outgoing mail, the application can only be operated with the help of internet access, there are only two employees managing dynamic archives and in managing dynamic archives, namely incoming and outgoing letters are still assisted by disposition sheets and control cards. This type of experimental research uses a quasi experimental design with a non-equivalent control group design. The research sample is students of class X OTKP2 and X OTKP3, each consisting of 30 students. Data collection techniques with documentation, interviews, tests, and observations. The research instrument uses the cognitive realm. Data analysis used normality test, homogeneity test, t-test and gain score. The results of this study indicate the results of the t test obtained the value of tcount> ttable (6.579> 2.001) and the difference (gain score) of the pre-test and post-test values obtained that tcount> ttable (7.101> 2.001) so that the average difference from the pre-value test and post-test experimental class 0.62 is greater than the value of the pre-test and post-test control class of 0.33. Type of experimental reseach with quasi experimental design. The reseach sample is class XI OTKP 1 dan 2. Data collection methods using tests, documentation, interview and observation. Research instrument used in the cognitive and psychomotor domain. Data analisis use homogeneity test, normality test, gain score test, and hypothesis test. The ability to think critically in the hypothesis test gets the result of tvalue > ttable (5,585>1,994) the significance level is 0,000<0,05. The hypothesis test result of learning outcomes show value tvalue > ttable (4,493>1,994) significance level is 0,000 < 0,05. T-test gain score analysis obtained the results of tvalue > ttable (5,750>1,994) significance level is 0,000<0,05. Based on these results it can be interpreted that H1 ia accepted.
