On the other hand, reducing the emission of hazardous gases and greenhouse gases in human societies is necessary, which has increased the use of hybrid vehicles in recent years. These include battery-powered electric vehicles and hybrid vehicles. Therefore, appropriate policies to expand this type of technology in all countries are important and require careful planning and investment. One of the first essential steps in carrying out these plans is the proper introduction of this type of vehicle in the community. Education in schools, universities, and the mass media can play a crucial role in organizing and introducing hybrid vehicles based on renewable energy sources. This paper aims to present and introduce an attractive plan to introduce an example of technology and products from renewable energy sources. The plan is based on a story with attractive photos of hybrid vehicle products and their introduction as family members. Since the type and method of education are essential in transfer concepts to learners, this plan is proposed after studying different teaching methods and learning methods. To evaluate the effectiveness of the project was presented to a group of undergraduate and two groups of graduate students. The polls of these groups show acceptable satisfaction with this plan.","PeriodicalId":422981,"journal":{"name":"2021 Research, Invention, and Innovation Congress: Innovation Electricals and Electronics (RI2C)","volume":"14 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122000194","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The samples include three clear float glass sheets from different suppliers, extra clear float glass with low iron content, a blue-tinted and green tinted float glass. In order to prevent the effect of the glass to air interface, several layers of glass sheets are stacked together forming a sufficient sample volume that can accommodate most of the fringing electric fields from the open-end probe. The investigated frequency ranges from 10 MHz to 6 GHz. The measured data are then imported into an EM simulation tool to design UHF RFID reader and WiFi patch antennas with the center frequencies of 950 MHz and 2,450 MHz, respectively. The radiator is modeled using a copper layer with a thickness of 0.038mm corresponding to the thickness of commercially available adhesive copper tapes. Performances of the antenna on each glass substrate are compared. The results of the studies will be considered for the design of an on-glass antenna with a transparent radiator made of a transparent conductive film in future work.","PeriodicalId":422981,"journal":{"name":"2021 Research, Invention, and Innovation Congress: Innovation Electricals and Electronics (RI2C)","volume":"33 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122125917","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In the car assembly line, there are more than ten thousand parts to pick for assembling a single car. Order picking is the process which transport and collect the items in the warehouse to serve both internal and external customer. Consequently, this is generally known as the most consumed time in warehouse activities, especially in the traveling activity. Traveling Salesman Problem (TSP) is the technique which deals with finding the shortest route. This paper presents a mathematical model of TSP to minimize the traveled distance of pickers and provide the optimal sequence of order picking. Binary integer programming (BIP) is applied to solve the model. The MIP library is used as the problem solver which operates in Python. The case studies are introduced to demonstrate the solution quality of the proposed model. The result shows that order picking route is optimized by decreasing the distance traveled.","PeriodicalId":422981,"journal":{"name":"2021 Research, Invention, and Innovation Congress: Innovation Electricals and Electronics (RI2C)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123944840","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Sensor-based human activity recognition (HAR) is being used in smartphone platforms for elderly healthcare monitoring, fall detection, and inappropriate behavior prevention, such as smoking habit, unhealthy eating, and lack of exercise. Common machine learning and deep learning techniques have recently been presented to tackle the HAR issue, with a focus on everyday activities, particularly general human activities including moving, sitting, and standing. However, there is an intriguing and challenging HAR research subjects involving more complicated psychological activities in various environments, including smoking, eating, and drinking. The use of heterogeneous sensor data to enhance recognition performance over sensor-based deep learning networks is considered in this work. We demonstrate that using a combination of two inertial measurement units outperforms employing either an accelerometer or a gyroscope by utilizing four deep learning classifiers to recognize complex human activity (CHA). Furthermore, we describe the impact of five window sizes (5s - 40s) on a publicly accessible benchmark dataset and how increasing window size effects to the classification performance of CHA deep learning networks.","PeriodicalId":422981,"journal":{"name":"2021 Research, Invention, and Innovation Congress: Innovation Electricals and Electronics (RI2C)","volume":"88 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125736287","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Activities related to the green supply chain also include aspects of low-waste production, environmentally friendly action, and social awareness. In this research, we investigate the particular food-safety system under the green supply chain’s scope by focusing on logistical aspect using the Vehicle Routing Problem (VRP) model. Initially, the model is developed by taking into account transportation distance, vehicle capacity, supply amount, and locations of stakeholders into account. In order to enhance green activities, both organic agriculture and distance optimization are investigated. In particular, locations of community enterprises with organics and Participatory Guarantee Systems (PGS) certified crops are used as a basis for the supply sources. Then, the transportation route between the New Donklang Market, Ubonratchathani, to these supply sources is analyzed as a case study to verify and validate the proposed VRP model. Our initial result shows promising illustration for improving the food-safety system with environmentally-driven objective.","PeriodicalId":422981,"journal":{"name":"2021 Research, Invention, and Innovation Congress: Innovation Electricals and Electronics (RI2C)","volume":"3 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128285347","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It was used to increase the search ability for two non-population metaheuristics—tabu search (TS) and variable neighborhood search (VNS)—for a hybrid flow shop with assembly operations and unrelated parallel machines. The objective was to minimise the total penalty costs defined as the sum of tardiness, earliness, and flow time costs. The NF heuristic is an adaptation of the backward and forward scheduling heuristics with a new trade-off process among the components of the total penalty costs. It was applied to all operations of a given sequence with simultaneously considering the precedence constraints. The effectiveness of the NF heuristic was compared to the existing fitness evaluation heuristic (EF) by applying all of them to TS and VNS to solve five industrial case studies. The results showed that the NF heuristic dramatically outperformed the EF heuristic for both TS and VNS in terms of solution quality with the relative percentage improvement (%RPI) of 90% approximately. It was also observed that TS obtained a better solution than VNS for a given fitness evaluation with the %RPI in a narrow range of 2-3%. In addition, all proposed solution methods required a time converging to the stable solutions within a practical limit of the planner.","PeriodicalId":422981,"journal":{"name":"2021 Research, Invention, and Innovation Congress: Innovation Electricals and Electronics (RI2C)","volume":"63 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130162109","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Overmind is the conceptual design framework for a decentralized machine learning network containing the multiple agents which are collaboratively performing their tasks and objectives. This network of agents can be dynamically changed when the new features are discovered and introduced to the Overmind with significant changes to a system performance. The network behaviour of Overmind, as loosely described in a previous paper, is now presented with detail and interpretation. In this paper, Overmind has been deployed and applied to the multiple dataset which generates and creates the different outcomes and network pattern, then, its capabilities are tested by adding features to the network. The result shows four possible stages: 1) initial stage, 2) connected stage, 3) fully connected stage, and 3) isolated node. This paper also presents the future works as opportunities for improvement of the Overmind framework.","PeriodicalId":422981,"journal":{"name":"2021 Research, Invention, and Innovation Congress: Innovation Electricals and Electronics (RI2C)","volume":"90 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126451915","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The number of people aged 60 and over stands at about 13 million or accounting for 20% of the population. By 2050, Thailand’s aging population is expected to increase to 20 million, accounting for 36% of the population. Most of elderly people who are too old to work, will be live alone since most of working people have to work and have not time to take care of them. When an accident occurs, and no one know, it is very serious. An important one of the most accidents is falling. If we can suddenly know that the elderly’s fall and hurry to rescue, it will increase the elderly’s chance to survive. Therefore, we implemented the fall detection system. Our research consists of three main parts: fall detecting, communication, and application. We developed a locket with a microcontroller, accelerometer, GPS (Global Positioning System), and communication module inside. When the sensors detect fall, this system is activated. An application will display the notifications (elder identification number, map of location, and the elderly’s profile) to users such as village health volunteer, hospital, or/and family members. We developed front-end of the application with Flutter framework and back-end with Loopback as a server framework. Computer programming is Node JS. Moreover, we used Firebase Cloud Messaging, and Google Map API. Consequently, we get this valuable innovation. Hopefully, it can help to reduce the mortality rate of the elderly fall. Also, it can reduce the family burden and government cost in taking care of them.","PeriodicalId":422981,"journal":{"name":"2021 Research, Invention, and Innovation Congress: Innovation Electricals and Electronics (RI2C)","volume":"10 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121640599","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The proposed circuit consists of a shunt topology rectifier including a single stub impedance matching network. Conventional PCB fabrication technique is used for the prototyping of the proposed flexible rectifier. It has a total footprint of 5.29 cm2. The proposed rectifier exhibits a good trade-off between compactness and RF-to-DC conversion efficiency. The implementation on a very thin substrate (130 µm) makes it durable for wearables applications. Traditional laboratory also requires students to present at the laboratory. Since 2020, the COVID-19 outbreak prevents students from the onsite studying. The lecture class can be deficiently substitute by online class but the laboratory is heavily impacted and still has no good solution. A virtual laboratory or a low-cost hardware-in-the-loop can reduce the severity of the problem. This paper presents a new hardware-in-the-loop simulator for control of power electronics systems laboratory. The proposed system uses a low-cost analog I/O hardware to link the physical control signal to student’s PC and act as a virtual power electronics circuit simulator. As the PC is not the real-time high-performance simulator, the time-scaling technique is used.
