Therefore, this paper surveys 22 articles from 18 DNI countries, attempting to investigate the load forecasting methodologies as well as data cleansing mechanisms, and then proposes a general design framework for these countries. A systematic review protocol is applied in this study to achieve unbiased and scientific-based findings. Economic growth, number of customers, price of electricity, temperature, calendar events, and daytime found to be significant drivers of electricity consumption. Furthermore, the findings indicate that 63.64% of the surveyed load forecasting mechanisms considered the inclusion of outlier-removal preprocessors. This paper has pinpointed the issues pertaining to load forecasting in the DNI countries such that a robust model, fitting a context can be built with efficiency.","PeriodicalId":418993,"journal":{"name":"Int. The researcher used the convenient sampling strategy to pick the partakers. 250 questionnaires were given out to the respondents and 139 questionnaires were received. A partial least square technique was applied for the data analysis. The outcome of the inquiry was that perceived ease of use substantially influenced perceived usefulness of assistive technology; perceived usefulness was significantly associated with attitude, and result demonstrability was substantially associated with perceived ease of use. This study added to the current body of knowledge regarding the technology acceptance model for explaining intended assistive technology acceptance in educational settings.","PeriodicalId":418993,"journal":{"name":"Int. The framework is mainly developed to enhance the stockholders’ trust in purchasing properties. This framework is developed by reviewing the challenges in the land registration systems and identifying the factors that capture from socio-technical elements derived from the literature, interview with investors, and then validated by an expert review. The study applies a qualitative methodology that involves semi-structured interviews, and a thematic method to analysis the collected data to pursue the intended aim. The article suggests a social trust framework for the land registration system which enhances the trust in the provided information by mitigating the challenges in the current system. The findings also indicate that appropriate use of technology such as smart contracts and blockchain would reach the aim of the study.","PeriodicalId":418993,"journal":{"name":"Int. J. ICT Res. Afr. These institutions like Dar es Salaam Institute of Technology (DIT) can face high operational costs due to the high energy consumption caused by computational operations of HPC systems. Because of the exceedingly high energy cost, diminishing energy consumption has become a major concern in deploying HPC systems. This manuscript per the authors used empirical modeling (EM) to predict the trends of power and cost operation for the year 2018 and 2019 on running HPC system. It was noticed that in addition to optimizing the system configuration, the proposed hybrid algorithm can both minimize completion time while increasing throughput as a result of decreasing energy consumption and maximize resource utilization. The experimental results showed that Infiniband switch can save energy up to 10.7% and the proposed hybrid algorithm can reduce time up to 25% as a result of energy reduction.","PeriodicalId":418993,"journal":{"name":"Int. It has positively transformed the way the world operates, however, it has also provided a means by which cybercrimes are perpetuated. As people use the Internet, they also become more susceptible to Internet risk. A number of previous studies have reported adolescents’ susceptibility and coping skills within and outside Nigeria. There is however, a dearth of information on cybercrime vulnerability and exposure among adolescents in Osun State, Nigeria. This present study adapts the Routine Activity Theory to investigate the cybercrime exposure of secondary school students in Osogbo, the capital of Osun State, Nigeria. This study adopted a survey research method. The study revealed considerable levels of cybercrime exposure among public senior secondary school students in Osogbo. It was recommended amongst others that the students should be enlightened on positive use of the Internet in order to militate against harm by cybercrime perpetrators.","PeriodicalId":418993,"journal":{"name":"Int. In the digital currency literature, behavioral and technological antecedents that affect individuals’ behavior towards the use of digital currencies remain scanty. Drawing on Bitcoin, mobile money, and perfect money as some types of digital currencies, this research adopts the Technology Organization Environment (TOE) framework and the prospect theory. Based on 520 questionnaire responses, this research employs the partial least square structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) technique. Results from the analysis reveal that technology competence, service, and agent trust, perceived risk, and cost have positive influences on the intention to use digital currencies. Behavioral intention influences the actual use of the technology. However, a country’s regulatory environment does not influence the intention to adopt digital currencies. The research provides important analytical advances and presents practical and economic consequences for the implementation of digital currencies.","PeriodicalId":418993,"journal":{"name":"Int. J. Patterns in the rise and fall of technological leadership show that such dominance should be understood from traditional factors that signal industrial power, geography and national ambition, and the complexity of emerging technologies. The ubiquitous nature of contemporary technologies and the explosion of mobile and other network-attached devices have been the catalysts and tipping points for most successful countries and leaders. This paper examines how advances in technology impact on university leadership effectiveness among academic staff working in four selected private universities in Ghana. Stratified random sampling method was used to gather data from respondents, comprising administrators, deans and heads of departments from Data Link Institute, Fountainhead University College, Central University and Methodist University College were used in the study.","PeriodicalId":418993,"journal":{"name":"Int. The study used the case of Malawi as an example of a low-income status country in Africa. Data for the study was gathered through key informant interviews and verified using secondary data. The findings showed that public private partnership supported the development and endorsement of the ICT policy as a priority of government activities. Further, the public private partnership supported ICT sector improvements in legal and regulatory frameworks, human capacity, telecommunications infrastructure and ICT access in public institutions. The government benefited from the external parties in supporting the ICT investment programs. To some extent, ICT policy implementation focused more on the strategic level of government programs and the supply side of the ICT sector. The study offers insights into how the public private partnership supported execution of ICT policy programs, processes and politics in the context of a developing country.","PeriodicalId":418993,"journal":{"name":"Int. While some e-government websites have delivered the intended goal, others are still struggling. This study assessed the quality of the e-government websites using a three-step investigation methodology. Firstly, the quality attributes were generated from literature, then a conceptual framework for e-government websites with four quality dimensions was developed, and lastly, an observation instrument was used to measure the quality attributes of 78 Uganda e-government websites. Most of the websites scored highly on the level of authority, relevance, quality of text, organization of the website, and time to download. The level of attractiveness, content accuracy, objectivity, currency of information, use of multimedia, and multi-language required significant improvements while the use of social media and evidence of security and privacy of the information was hardly visible. A framework is proposed to improve the quality of e-government websites.","PeriodicalId":418993,"journal":{"name":"Int. J. ICT Res. Afr. As indicated by the World Health Organisation (WHO), roughly 1% of the total populace are epileptic patients. The abrupt nature of epileptic seizures constitutes a major disabling aspect of the ailment due to the impediments in patients' daily activities. Therefore, a method that can speculate the event of seizures could essentially improve the wellbeing of epileptic patients. Hence, the point of this paper is to build up a model that can anticipate seizures and furthermore characterize them, using a GSR sensor, temperature sensor, and also a pulse rate sensor.","PeriodicalId":418993,"journal":{"name":"Int.
