However, the pervasive influence of market economics has presented both challenges and opportunities for education, particularly in the realm of political theory. At Tan Trao University, the interaction between market economics and political theory education for students is an indispensable issue. Nevertheless, upon closer examination, it becomes evident that this impact transcends mere financial considerations, involving the intersection of preparing for the labor market and the higher education mission of imparting knowledge and nurturing intellect. In this context, careful and nuanced considerations in approaching political theory education become paramount, aiming ultimately to cultivate citizens with profound understanding, critical thinking skills, and readiness to engage in societal development and construction. ","PeriodicalId":418878,"journal":{"name":"European Journal of Theoretical and Applied Sciences","volume":"59 2","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-05-16","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140970338","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The research was conducted in Lagangilang, Abra, Philippines, involving 96 native chickens that were fed with different egg enhancers, including pure formulated feed with no additives, commercial egg enhancer, annatto seed powder, turmeric powder, and red-hot pepper powder at 1% level. The results showed that the egg yolk weight, albumen weight, and eggshell thickness were not significantly different among the treatments. However, yolk color was significantly different among the treatments, with annatto seed, turmeric, and red-hot pepper treatments rated as dark yellow having significantly higher yolk color compared to the control and commercial treatments. The study also found that the coloring content agent of egg enhancers, such as annatto seed, turmeric, and red-hot pepper, can improve the yolk color of eggs by providing carotenoids and other antioxidants to the birds. This is important because consumers often prefer eggs with a darker yolk color. The study also evaluates the sensory evaluation of senior high school students, college students, and faculty on native chicken eggs given with egg enhancers. The results indicate that there were no significant differences in appearance, flavor, aroma, aftertaste, and general acceptability among the treatments with a descriptive rating of “like moderately” based on the hedonic scale. ","PeriodicalId":418878,"journal":{"name":"European Journal of Theoretical and Applied Sciences","volume":"30 3","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141031271","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this study, the seasonal tropospheric radio refractivity was estimated and its variations with other meteorological parameters and refractive index were investigated using the measured monthly climatic data of atmospheric pressure, relative humidity, and temperature obtained from the National Aeronautic and Space Administration (NASA) for Makurdi and Ibadan during the period of forty-two (42) years (1981 to 2022). The refractivity gradiant, effective earth radius, and percentage contribution of the dry and wet term radio refractivity were examined. The findings indicated that for the two locations, high values of radio refractivity were observed during the rainy season and low values during the dry season. The maximum and minimum average values of radio refractivity observed for Makurdi and Ibadan during the rainy and dry seasons are, respectively, 380.0641 N-units in the month of May, 331.9776 N-units in January, and 379.9479 N-units in the month of May, 352.2143 N-units in January. The dry term (Ndry) contributes 70.8764 % and 69.4504 % to the total value of radio refractivity, while the wet term (Nwet) contributes to the major variation with 29.1236 % and 30.5496 % for Makurdi and Ibadan, respectively. The study areas under investigation yielded average refractivity gradients of -43.8583 and -43.1480 N-units/km. Additionally, the average effective earth radius (k – factor) for Makurdi and Ibadan was found to be 1.3876 and 1.3790, respectively. These values align with the conditions of super refraction propagation. ","PeriodicalId":418878,"journal":{"name":"European Journal of Theoretical and Applied Sciences","volume":"39 17","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141047313","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Sand casting was chosen as the most cost-effective and efficient method of preparing the aluminium bronze alloy. Following their melting points, six distinct samples of aluminium bronze alloyed with 0% to 10% tin were added into the crucible furnace. Nickel with the highest melting point of 1453°C was added into the crucible furnace first, while tin with the lowest melting of 231.9°C was added last into the crucible furnace. The alloying components were mixed well by manually mixing the liquid for around five minutes. After sand casting, the specimens were machined, sectioned, and grounded then tests were carried out to measure their hardness, tensile strength, and impact resistance. The results of the tests indicate that the tensile strength first increases and subsequently declines as the tin addition increases. The hardness of the aluminium bronze alloy increases as the proportion of tin addition increases. The results of the investigations also demonstrate that as the hardness of the specimens increases, their impact resistance decreases and the tensile stress of each specimen increases with strain. ","PeriodicalId":418878,"journal":{"name":"European Journal of Theoretical and Applied Sciences","volume":"46 6","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141033719","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This, however, is lacking in Bayelsa State, hence this study examined the potentials and limitations of some lower Niger River plain soils of southern Nigeria and their suitability for maize production. Based on landform differences, landscape segments were separated into three mapping units per location while profile pits were dug in each unit and morphologically described. Horizon differentiation guided soil sample collection followed by laboratory analysis. Silt loam dominated soil texture while Ca dominated the exchange complex but exchangeable bases concentration was generally low. Organic C, total N and available P concentrations were closely related and low which was attributed to land clearing and frequent bush burning. Excessive rainfall and inadequate length of day were the most limiting factors under climatic factors while temperature and relative humidity were highly suitable. The ELM3 and TFN3 pedons flooded each year by Nun and Forcados Rivers, respectively, were marginally suitable S3f. Texturally, ELM1, ELM2 and TFN1 were highly suitable (S1) while ELM3, TFN2 and TFN3 were moderately suitable (S2). Due to insufficient length of dry days and wetness challenges owing to excessive rainfall, all pedons were placed under actually not suitable but potentially suitable (N1) class. Improvement measures recommended included planting early in the dry spell to avoid excessive wetness and making available more dry days as well as organic matter conservation, avoiding frequent land clearing and bush burning. ","PeriodicalId":418878,"journal":{"name":"European Journal of Theoretical and Applied Sciences","volume":"51 18","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141043081","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Such transmission networks are prone to external disturbances from loads, environment and other sources which leads to low power quality. Sudden application or removal of large loads. Large loads are known to draw more reactive power than the generated reactive power which lead to reactive power imbalance which can lead to total system collapse. Nevertheless, the natural process of composting contributes to environmental pollution by releasing carbon dioxide (CO2) and methane (CH4) into the atmosphere. This study examines the effectiveness of adding calcium peroxide to the composting process to improve the availability of oxygen, reduce CO2 emissions, and enhance the quality of the final products. The study involved conducting experimental trials using different doses of calcium peroxide (5%, 10%, 15%, and 20%) to evaluate its effect on reducing CO2 levels. The results demonstrate a substantial decrease in CO2 emissions, where concentrations of 20% lead to a reduction of 36.82%while in 5%, 10%, and 15% the reductions were 19.15%,26.36%, and 36.32%, respectively. In addition, the inclusion of calcium peroxide raises the pH of food waste samples and introduces calcium ions (Ca2+) into the end product. The results emphasize the significance of dealing with carbon emissions in composting procedures to adhere to Sustainable Development Goals 12 (responsible consumption and production) and 13 (climate action), thus progressing towards more sustainable waste management techniques. ","PeriodicalId":418878,"journal":{"name":"European Journal of Theoretical and Applied Sciences","volume":"12 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141025458","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
