Publicly, a CBIR system is a system that able to search and retrieve the desired images that have similarity in both visual characteristics and relevance terms. The proposed CBIR system is using three different feature extraction methods that is combined with the KNN Classification. The color feature will be extracted by Color Moments, the shape feature will be extracted by Connected Regions, and the texture feature will be extracted by Discrete Wavelet Transform. The images that will be used are animal images and separated into 10 classes. The KNN Classification will classify the query image first into a specific class before starting any retrieval process. The results from the system show that Color Moments has a precision of 45.8%, Connected Regions has a precision of 34.1%, and Discrete Wavelet Transform has a precision of 44.5%. Meanwhile, the combination of feature extraction methods without KNN Classification has a precision of 37.1%, while when combined with KNN Classification, the system has a precision of 68.7% with 100% classification accuracy. The experiment shows that the system needs KNN Classification to increase its usability and retrieval accuracy.","PeriodicalId":418311,"journal":{"name":"2019 International Conference on Electrical, Electronics and Information Engineering (ICEEIE)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129051476","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this research, the data were acquired from 2 detector fan beam scanning method. This design consists of: gamma ray source from Cs-137 isotope having 30 mCi activity, scintillation detector made of NaI(Tl) crystal connected to Ludlum M2200 radiation counter, and motion system made up of source rotator and detector rotator with each motion corresponds to one motor. The scanning system was controlled by Arduino Mega as a microcontroller and LabView as a graphical user interface. Microcontroller was used to actuate motors, read encoders, and communicate serially with radiation counter and PC. Motors were able to rotate the source and detector with angle starting from 1° around the center of rotation and take time about 1 second per degree rotation. Radiation counting resulted in 1.47% statistical error for 1-second counting time and decreased to 0.99% as counting time is increased to 2 seconds. The reconstructed image from the proposed fan beam method resulted in poorer quality than from the parallel beam method with the same pixel size. However, for nearly same quality of the image, the proposed method required less scan time. Spatial resolution of both methods could identify the holes within phantom with diameters starting from 1 cm.","PeriodicalId":418311,"journal":{"name":"2019 International Conference on Electrical, Electronics and Information Engineering (ICEEIE)","volume":"68 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128192005","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

So the higher the capacity of the internal battery, the longer the data logger can operate and vice versa. It is necessary to have a feature to set the active and inactive time of the data logger in the process of recording data to improve the efficiency of internal battery usage. In this paper, an alternative solution is presented, namely through setting the active and inactive time of the data logger by using IoT (Internet of Things) based on the current time, sunrise time, and sunset time through the API (Application Programming Interface). The test results show that the device can monitor the parameters of solar panel voltage, current, power, temperature and humidity and internal battery voltage in real-time through a mobile device. With this method, the amount of internal battery power savings is 65.56%,68.78%, and 69.21 % with the time interval for recording data every 1 minute, 5 minutes and 10 minutes respectively, which is tested for 24 hours.","PeriodicalId":418311,"journal":{"name":"2019 International Conference on Electrical, Electronics and Information Engineering (ICEEIE)","volume":"54 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128379353","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A wireless sensor network node is a small node with many limitations like a resource, range, energy, and many others. Transmission power control is one method for efficiency energy with limited power transmission. Clustering protocol is one rule on protocol wireless sensor network for grouping data from adjacent nodes for energy efficient. In this study, the researcher combines transmission power control with the clustering protocol for getting more efficient on energy consumption on the sensor node. From our simulation result, this method proven gets more saving energy. Wasteful energy still occurs mainly at the head of the cluster, not the use of energy in transmission but the use of energy in calculations especially to calculate the received signal stress indicator as to the main factor limiting power. But it matters more than without use limitation power control in conventional clustering protocol.","PeriodicalId":418311,"journal":{"name":"2019 International Conference on Electrical, Electronics and Information Engineering (ICEEIE)","volume":"2 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121318631","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This was due to the fact that ubiquitous technology was small and inexpensive, but had limited resources. Research on ubiquitous had been widely developed, especially in the use of sensors in ubiquitous. Sensor optimization of facial detections had also been done a lot. High computation for face detection and facial emotions caused overload on ubiquitous. This was caused by limited resources. These limitations caused a decrease in the level of face detection accuracy. This research developed new techniques for face detection, especially emotions by using ubiquitous. This facial emotion detection used a hybrid Computational Intelligence algorithm whose process was done on ubiquitous. Fuzzy C-Mean algorithm functioned as a color grouping in face detection. The results of this color grouping were histograms. After the histogram process was complete, numerical values were obtained for each photo of facial emotion. Each facial emotion had a histogram numeric value which was used as a data set in this study. Experimental testing on this ubiquitous device produced an accuracy value of 77.5%.","PeriodicalId":418311,"journal":{"name":"2019 International Conference on Electrical, Electronics and Information Engineering (ICEEIE)","volume":"48 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131908379","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Hence, surface deformation will produce a different speckle pattern. This study aims to see the correlation of surface deformation with changes in speckle pattern, so that it can qualitatively estimate metal resistance and observe surface characteristics due to corrosion process. The metal used were iron and carbon steel which were immersed in 0.1 M HNO3 acid solution. Every 10 minutes period, speckle images were captured using a CMOS camera and processed using 2-D Coefficient Correlation method and Feature Extraction of GLCM. The results showed a correlation between corroded metal and speckle pattern with precision rate of 2-D Coefficient Correlation was not less than 97.3% and 91.1% for GLCM Method. Analysis of 2-D Coefficient Correlation can be used to estimate that carbon steel was more resistant than iron. Meanwhile, the GLCM contrast and homogeneity features can be used to represent changing metal surface characteristics, but it was difficult to estimate metal resistance since the type of corrosion occurred in this study was different for each type of metal.","PeriodicalId":418311,"journal":{"name":"2019 International Conference on Electrical, Electronics and Information Engineering (ICEEIE)","volume":"18 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133546641","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
