As specific examples, the interactions of amino acids with each other and nucleic acids with each other are considered. It is shown that in the case of chemical interaction of biomolecules of higher dimension, the conditions of correspondence (complementarity) are associated with a mirror image of the geometric elements of the corresponding polytopes of higher dimension.","PeriodicalId":416197,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Clinical Oncology Reports","volume":"18 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-07-13","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133738874","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A documentary work was carried out with a selection of sources indexed to international repositories, considering the keywords, as well as the publication period from 2019 to 2022. The specification of the model shows three axes of research developed from the inter and multidisciplinary, but with a clear hegemony of studies oriented from positive psychology; well-being, satisfaction and happiness, although other factors can be included considering other subdisciplines such as health, educational or social psychology.","PeriodicalId":416197,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Clinical Oncology Reports","volume":"41 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-07-12","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134449738","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

They usually arise from small cutaneous nerves in the head, neck, and extremities, but exceptionally, they have also been reported to develop in the spinal canal. Here we describe a case of spinal NSM. The patient was a 4-month-old male who presented with incomplete tetra paresis. Spine magnetic resonance imaging showed a well-demarcated small intradural extramedullary mass at the T10-L1 level. The tumor has typical histological features of myxoid type NSM with myxoid lobules that are separated by fibrous septa or bands of more compact cellular area. Nerve sheath myxomas should be included in the differential diagnosis of spinal canal tumors. Ultrastructural observation of tumor cefis with perineurial, fibroblast-like, and Schwann differentiation suggests an origin from nerve sheath precursor cefis.","PeriodicalId":416197,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Clinical Oncology Reports","volume":"46 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-04-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121249826","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In India, lip and oral cavity cancer ranks at 2nd position with incidence around 10.3%, mortality 8.8% and 5- year prevalence around21.77%. Multiple theories have been put forth describing the multifocal origin of squamous cell carcinoma (SCC) of the oral and aerodigestive tract. “Field Cancerization “is the first theory described in oral squamous cell carcinoma (SCC) which explains the multifocal or synchronous origin of the SCC. Synchronous carcinomas are defined as second neoplasms at the same time or within 6 months period of primary lesions. After that, they are described as metachronous neoplasms. The criteria to describe synchronous tumours were elaborated by Warren and Gates and Moertel et al. “Field Cancerization “theory was explained by widespread epithelial exposure to carcinogens; however, the alternative theory of common clonal origin is now supported by the recent molecular studies. Second Primary Tumours (Synchronous or Metachronous) are usually more aggressive, more resistant, metastasizes early and they require a more aggressive treatment strategy. Hence, their early detection is the crucial step in planning the best possible management. We are reporting an unusual case of synchronous oral squamous cell carcinoma in 58-year-old female who underwent surgery followed by adjuvant treatment after diagnosis.","PeriodicalId":416197,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Clinical Oncology Reports","volume":"21 9","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-04-14","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"120923608","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Clinicians are now faced with an increasing number of long-term complications of Covid-19, defined as “post-acute COVID-19 syndrome”. Most studies have focused on severe COVID-19, however post-acute COVID-19 syndrome mostly exists in outpatients and had limited published literature. Given the diversity of its symptoms and the persistence of its symptoms, the management of these patients requires a multidisciplinary approach, that will result in the utilization of large amounts of health resources in the coming months and even years. In this review, we discuss the clinical and radiological presentation, pathophysiology, and management of post-acute COVID-19 syndrome. Key Findings: The persistence of respiratory symptoms, like dyspnea and cough, beyond 4 weeks from the onset of symptoms is considered Long Covid-19 syndrome. Dyspnea is the most frequent respiratory symptom reported after COVID-19. Symptom of cough is found to be less common than dyspnea after Covid-19 infection. Post-COVID-19 dyspnea can affect patients with even initially mild COVID-19 and no evidence of organ damage. Conclusion: In this review, we have discussed the clinical and radiological presentation, pathophysiology, and management of pulmonary features associated with post-acute COVID-19 syndrome. Implications for practice: For radiologists, this is an upcoming topic of extreme significance and few published literatures exist on this specific evolving disease.","PeriodicalId":416197,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Clinical Oncology Reports","volume":"22 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-02-27","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127930771","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

An excess or deficiency of trace element contents in thyroid play important role in goitro- and carcinogenesis of gland. The correlations with age of the seven-trace element (TE) contents (Br, Cu, Fe, I, Rb, Sr, and Zn), I/Br, I/Cu, I/Fe, I/Rb, I/Sr, and I/Zn ratios, and inter relationships between TE contents and I/TE content ratios in normal thyroid of 73 males (mean age 37.3 years, range 2.0-80) was investigated by radionuclide-induced energy dispersive X-ray fluorescent analysis. Our data reveal that the I content and the I/Fe ratio increase in the normal thyroid of male during a lifespan. Therefore, a goitrogenic and tumorigenic effect of excessive I level in the thyroid of old males and of disturbance in intrathyroidal I/Fe relationships with increasing age may be assumed. Furthermore, it was found that the levels of Br, Cu, Rb, and Zn in the thyroid gland are interconnected and depend on the content of I in it. Because I plays a decisive role in the function of the thyroid gland, the data obtained allow us to conclude that, along with I, such TEs as Br, Cu, Rb, and Zn, if not directly, then indirectly, are involved in the process of thyroid hormone synthesis.","PeriodicalId":416197,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Clinical Oncology Reports","volume":"59 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-02-27","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131243777","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Results: All reported patients were females; the median age at presentation was 45 years and the median follow-up period was 74 months (range 40–132 months). Four patients (83.3%) achieved clinical control, including improvement in CNs function in 3 patients, and one remained stable. Tumor control was achieved in 4 patients (80%), two achieved tumor size reduction, and two remained. Following GKRS, the estimated survival free of radiographic tumor progression rates at 3, 5, and 7 years were 100%, 80%, and 75%, respectively. Conclusion: GKRS offered safe and effective long-term tumor and clinical control for small to medium-sized symptomatic benign bilateral CSM as much as it usually does with solitary cavernous sinus meningioma.","PeriodicalId":416197,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Clinical Oncology Reports","volume":"177 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-02-27","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132695371","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
