The rapid development of web services and applications in various domains such as B2B, e-commerce, banking has led to the best quest for design in a QoS of web service architecture that can meet industry standards. Organizations to design and develop a best suitable QoS web service architecture to meet the industry demands various QoS web service parameters, reliable, quick services required for access the web services. In this paper we proposed a modified 3-tier architecture with a new component quality service manager that can fall in the core layer (i.e middle ware technology). This new component is concerned with the most important QoS parameters such as availability, reliability, adaptability, performance, response time, security and integrity. As a case study we have taken multimedia application and infrastructural components in multimedia applications. The improved quality parameters such as bandwidth, and access time, throughput by using round robin algorithm in the web server interface applications/services. We proposed this new architecture that would help the organizations in best possible QoS service architecture solutions","PeriodicalId":416001,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the The International Conference on Engineering & MIS 2015","volume":"82 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-09-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129653476","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A bimorph beam made of two piezoelectric layers with a delamination zone between them is studied using the FOSDT (First Order Shear Deformation Theory), the F. E. M. to modeling the problem, the obtained equation of motion are solved using Newmark method and Matlab to establish the calculations. A piezoelectric actuator made of a PVDF bimorph beam, and subjected to a delamination zone between its upper and lower layers is considered to study the influence of several parameters. Like the changes of the ambient temperature, the structural damping coefficient and some geometrical parameters. Using the FOSDT to model the axial and vertical displacements of this actuator, we used the F.E.M. method to discretize the beam. The delaminated beam presents more actuation than the perfectly bonded one.","PeriodicalId":416001,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the The International Conference on Engineering & MIS 2015","volume":"201 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-09-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122759173","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Analytics has evolved as a major area and has been significantly helping organizations from years to get profitable business results. Organizations are now employing Business Intelligence tools and techniques to analyze their large complex volumes of data. Even though analytic tools and techniques are employed still many organizations are failing to come up with the right business decisions. This is because either they do not have the proper process model or they do not use a systematic process model for decision making. According to Gartner, on average sixty percent of the organizations are still not able to make fruitful decisions due to various factors like, data quality issues, lack of careful consideration of components involved, skill shortage to name a few. In this paper, we consider the software process, which is one of the key factors and show how a software process model may be applied to Business Intelligence process by defining the entire BI process as a two stage software component process model which internally involves other components. For this purpose, we have defined two software process component models for the entire BI process. We also emphasize all the key considerations that need to be followed to achieve successful BI results. We throw light on how the sequential iteration phase can be applied at each component level. This model serves as a prototype for the future BI projects which can benefit organizations and top decision makers in making quality decisions.","PeriodicalId":416001,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the The International Conference on Engineering & MIS 2015","volume":"128 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-09-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126328662","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The advent of robots in the industry has helped alleviate human repetitive and difficult work, and this with greater efficiency and precision. Modeling is an important step in the field of robotics. There are several types: geometric, kinematic and dynamic. These models facilitate the design and the robot controller, optimize the planning of the trajectory, and save time and money To this end, the project is modeler a redundant robot SCARA type wearing a diamond tool head for cutting glass plates. The use of a redundant robot has offered a range of possible kinematic and dynamic configurations, who can gave the possibility of an optimization work to determine the configuration that requires less energy and allows the robot to do its work in the best conditions and in a reduced time.","PeriodicalId":416001,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the The International Conference on Engineering & MIS 2015","volume":"33 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-09-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133682607","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The comparison is based on the execution speed of three simple scripts. In the first phase, ASP and PHP are compared using a script that contains a for loop. Several iterations are performed starting from ten thousand to ten million and execution times are measured. Each experiment has been used for 10 times and average values of execution speed are computed. In the second phase, execution speed of PHP-MySQL and ASP-MSSQL combinations are compared. An \"insert\" and a \"select\" query using a single database table are used in a for loop. Minimum Iteration number is selected as 100 while the maximum was set to 100000 for \"insert\" and one million for \"select\" queries. It was observed that PHP-MySQL combination may have a better performance than ASP.net-MSSQL Server, in the case of both SQL queries.","PeriodicalId":416001,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the The International Conference on Engineering & MIS 2015","volume":"20 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-09-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132567860","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The important goal of this translation is to enriching the source schema using semantics that might have not been clearly expressed in it, by acquiring as much information as possible about objects and relationships that exist among them. The next step is to produce an enhanced meta data model, which captures essential characteristics of target XML schema, and is suitable for translation. In details, we present translations of all constructs of an RDB into an XML Schema and integrated these into an algorithm. This process is to simplify exchange of data between different databases, practically the import of data of RDBs into XML documents. A prototype has been developed to realize the algorithm and generate target schema. To validate our proposal, we present experimental results using both schemas. The results show that the proposed algorithm is correct.","PeriodicalId":416001,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the The International Conference on Engineering & MIS 2015","volume":"140 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-09-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132701366","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Some of the reasons include logical errors, wrong interpretation of specification, coding errors. Finding such faults is not possible sometimes with the help of compilers. This is where the necessity and significance of software fault localization stems out. The main contribution for this work is to first introduce the block hit-miss function which relates block vectors of execution sequences of software code over sample runs performed and the decision vector which denotes fault or error free output. The similarity measure is applied to the block vector and decision vectors as input and the pair with maximum similarity is considered as faulty block.","PeriodicalId":416001,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the The International Conference on Engineering & MIS 2015","volume":"77 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-09-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132731051","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The main objective of this work is to study the magnetic properties of BaM ferrite. The permeability tensor is the most important parameter, because it governs the interaction between the electromagnetic wave and the material, and is thus the origin of all magnetic phenomenons. Thin films of BaM are characterized over a frequency range of 0.4 GHz to 65 GHz. The work shows the presence of a gyroresonance phenomenon and locates the resonance frequencies. The technique is based on S parameter measurements. Our research compares the level of mathematical competence of the students taught using our ICT oriented learning method which specifically takes advantage of `Realistic Mathematics Education' (RME) for the concept of addition and subtraction, as opposed to traditional teaching methodology. The designed software consisted of a story and several activities with and without the use of computers for addition. It was designed following the background of the RME theory. In addition, we use the mathematical test TEMA-3 to explore the use of ICT in the primary classroom for teaching basic mathematical concepts. It is a task orientated test which attends to measure the level of mathematical competence developed for students of the first grade. The present study was a pilot research of quasi-experimental design with one experimental and one control groups. We found that the students who were taught with educational intervention based on computers and RME had a significant improvement on their general mathematical achievement in comparison to those taught using the traditional teaching method.","PeriodicalId":416001,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the The International Conference on Engineering & MIS 2015","volume":"46 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-09-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129248297","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
