If we consider human body, human body works. If we consider human body rather than as parts in treating any disease with reductionist chemical drugs yield better results without adverse effects. Human body consists of energy, each cell of human body emit photon. Most of all diseases start in human mind. Human mind has a blueprint of human body. Mindful meditation with positive thoughts in mind known as quantum thoughts, genuine intention to heal any disease creates positive energy known as quantum thinking, healing take place at spiritual level by production of endorphins. This article briefs about the basic research findings of quantum healing and its application in management of diseases.","PeriodicalId":415155,"journal":{"name":"Research in Medical & Engineering Sciences","volume":"52 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-03-13","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133672272","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Mangroves are a set of trees that inhabit the coast of the sea [1]. These can be tropical or subtropical woody plants that can be found in bays, seas, lagoons and rivers, so they retain a certain amount of salt [2]. The role of microorganisms is crucial in the sea and mangrove for maintenance and development. However, the role played by each of these microorganisms is very little known. In 1928, Alexander Fleming began conducting different experiments using the first antibiotics against gram-positive pathogens, responsible for different diseases, these antibiotics were called Penicillins [3]. Antibiotics are not only used to treat human diseases, but also for the veterinary and livestock area. One problem that arises is the inappropriate use of antimicrobials, in addition many of these compounds are irresponsibly released to the bodies of water, which has created favorable conditions for the appearance and spread of microorganisms with antibiotic resistance [4]. Bacterial resistance is defined as the ability of bacteria to survive in the presence of an antimicrobial, which gives them some advantage in surviving the environment. This type of resistance can be presented as a natural cause [5], or in an acquired way, which occurs in different types of natural habitats, e.g. sewage, seawater, lagoon water, river water, sediments and soils [6]. Antibiotic resistance is known to be a risk to human and environmental health, even at low concentrations [7].","PeriodicalId":415155,"journal":{"name":"Research in Medical & Engineering Sciences","volume":"45 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-02-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128841002","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Abstract In order to evade surgical modality employed in knee osteoarthritis (OA), healthcare providers have developed knee cartilage regenerative techniques inducing stems cells. In this research, we compare two types of treatments to overcome knee osteoarthritis: knee replacement and stem cells therapy. The comparison on the basis of several aspects was established. The main concern of study was to assess recovery time, procedure cost, recovery rate, and invasiveness aspects on the basis of patients’ perceptions and reviews of experts. The results have effectively shown that the participants belonging from knee joint replacement surgery group were more exposed to invasiveness and had to suffer much more pain and complications as compared to the other group. Moreover, it was observed that participants belonging from stem cells therapy group were likely to agree on the better exploitation of advanced technology in the respective procedure as compared to the other group. Whereas, knee joint replacement surgery was seemed to be more effective for patients in the last stage of OA who were suffering complete disability and severe inflammation. Thereby, patients who were suffering from final stage of knee osteoarthritis were not likely to attain stem cells therapy, as it seemed to be inadequate for the particular case.","PeriodicalId":415155,"journal":{"name":"Research in Medical & Engineering Sciences","volume":"73 6 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-02-13","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128034206","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Visual-motor coordination is needed to perform all the activity of daily living and it is a foundational skill required for all the children for academic achievement. Methodology: The study has been initiated in June 14-2018, after getting informed consent signed, Ten children referred for their motor problems in home and in school to a rehabilitation clinic in and around Chennai has been selected in this study, Movement assessment battery for children (ABC) was administered to the study sample and 5 children have impairment score below 5th percentile. Result: Children with DCD show significant poor performance in the entire test of Berry VMI test and these Children with DCD appears to have problem in proprioception and motor programming. Discussion: Overall, the problems of children with DCD become most pronounced when their academic performance has been affected because of the poor visual motor integration. They have poor eye- hand coordination when writing examination and they were reported to have difficulty in fixing the paper to the desk in order to create the stable environment for writing the test. Children’s with DCD fails to do so. Conclusion: Children with DCD appears to have problem in Visual motor integration and because of this these children have poor performance in all perceptual task, hence the study concludes that difficulty in visual-motor integration contribute to poor academic performance.","PeriodicalId":415155,"journal":{"name":"Research in Medical & Engineering Sciences","volume":"6 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-09-07","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129099769","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
