The antenna is composed of three radiating elements, and fed by a microstrip line. Resonant frequencies of these elements are covered 2.4 GHz, 3.5 GHz, and 5.5 GHz, which are suited for both WLAN and WiMAX bands requirement. To reach this goal, a T-type resonator is adopted for one element, which emits 2.4 GHz, the other is with rectangular patch, gives the 3.5 GHz emission, and the third is constructed by a square ring resnator, governs the 5.5 GHz. Good performance of the antenna has been obtained in more compact in size. The design has been verified by fabricated samples. Experiment results are in good agreement with simulation.","PeriodicalId":414656,"journal":{"name":"2013 IEEE INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON MICROWAVE TECHNOLOGY & COMPUTATIONAL ELECTROMAGNETICS","volume":"12 1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133980214","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In recent years, vegetation height estimation is becoming one of most successful applied technology of polarimetric InSAR. With this applied technology, we can better understand the polarimetric scattering mechanisms and decompose the backscatter return from different levels in vertical structure of vegetation and measure trees height. Several key parameters of polarimetric InSAR system are studied and analyzed to find the optimized parameters of polarimetric InSAR system based on vegetation height estimation technology in this paper. Two emulator arithmetics will be studied to apply experimental data for different purposes in our experiments. Actually both of the arithmetic have their own disadvantage and advantage each other. The experiment results have shown that it's really meaningful to analyze and find optical parameters of polarimetric InSAR system based on vegetation height estimation.","PeriodicalId":414656,"journal":{"name":"2013 IEEE INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON MICROWAVE TECHNOLOGY & COMPUTATIONAL ELECTROMAGNETICS","volume":"40 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-08-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124870461","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The Marching On-in Time (MOT) scheme is employed to solve the integral equations. Quadratic B-spline function is used as the temporal basis functions, and closed-form integrals with respect to time are derived to calculate the matrix elements precisely. Numerical results demonstrate that both the PMCHWT and Muller approaches are accurate and stable for a range of relative permittivity in comparisons with the frequency domain results via discrete Fourier transforms. The Muller approach may be preferred to the PMCHWT scheme for small relative permittivity; however, the PMCHWT approach seems more dependable in general cases.","PeriodicalId":414656,"journal":{"name":"2013 IEEE INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON MICROWAVE TECHNOLOGY & COMPUTATIONAL ELECTROMAGNETICS","volume":"10 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-08-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115014880","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Taguchi's method was developed on the basis of the orthogonal array (OA) concept, which offers systematic and efficient characteristics. Using the concept of the analysis of variance, different via's physical aspect ratios have been set in the analysis. The impacts of these parameters are investigated with the help for a full-wave electromagnetic simulation soft HFSS. The Taguchi method can quickly converge to the desired design since it takes less computational resource. Numerous researches of antennas and other electromagnetic structures based on textile metamaterials have been presented. However, not much in-depth study of the impact of the periodic nature of textiles on electromagnetic band gap (EBG) properties has been done. In this study, a planar artificial magnetic conductor (AMC) / artificial electric conductor (AEC) grating structure and a conductive/nonconductive textile EBG structure are modeled and analyzed using the CST Microwave Studio eigenmode Jacobi-Davidson (JDM) method. The AMC/AEC grating and the textile EBG models have the same design parameters, but the dispersion results show that the periodic nature of the textile structure is able to split the TM/TE band and creates a bandgap for the X to M wave vectors. As a result, by introducing a plain weave structure, the AMC/AEC grating is transformed from a 1D EBG into a 2D EBG structure. A distributed parameter transmission line model is also presented to explain such phenomenon. This study presents the first discussion on textile induced EBG and suggests further development on textile based metamaterials.","PeriodicalId":414656,"journal":{"name":"2013 IEEE INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON MICROWAVE TECHNOLOGY & COMPUTATIONAL ELECTROMAGNETICS","volume":"310 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-08-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124448066","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
