Total petroleum hydrocarbon TPH are elements of difficult management and they can cause carcinogenesis and toxicity in human. Different techniques have been used for the remediation of contaminated soils, but the phytoremediation is proposed as possible alternative, convenient and environmentally friendly than traditional physicochemical techniques. In this study two systems adopted; free surface flow (FSF) and sub-surface flow (SSF) to select which system is more suitable for plant to be applied in future study of phytotoxicity test. The preliminary test for two types of plants phragmites communis (The scientific name is phragmites australis) and Helianthus annuus was conducted in a greenhouse for 14 days. The diesel concentrations used in this experiment were (0,1,2,3,5)% Vdiesel/Vwater for both systems. Through this period the growth parameters measured; were wet weight, dry weight, stem length, root length and observation the withered for the two plants. From this work, SSF better than FSF and Phragmites communis is better in phytoremediation than Helianthus annuus.","PeriodicalId":414074,"journal":{"name":"Association of Arab Universities Journal of Engineering Sciences","volume":"432 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-06-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122873186","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It is considered the most changing of the building through the proceeding of time because of the rapid changes of the technology. And because of the importance of the trading centers and what they have of qualities that have significant effects on the beauty and attractiveness in general and on its streets in particular. Structural system hasn’t changed much throughout the ages regardless of the difference in design and its function. Therefore, the research problem arose in the form of lack of clarity in previous literature when putting out the structural system in the trading centers. Despite the numerous theses and studies that discussed the trading centers but they were recognized by the obscurity and lack of comprehensiveness when talking about structure aspects. Therefore, the research here emphasized on exploring the nature of the system of services from its technical, material and economic aspects and even the expressional aspects. Considering the influence of services system on the architecture of the trading centers of what it has of features and qualities in the way contributed in the continuity of its motifs through the time. The research has adopted the method of the analytical study for the structural system in trading centers in a comprehensive way aiming to deepen the understanding of the designer for the requirements of the components to achieve a perfect integration.","PeriodicalId":414074,"journal":{"name":"Association of Arab Universities Journal of Engineering Sciences","volume":"131 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-06-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116604570","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The assignment process is one of the most important problems affecting the organizations performance because to determine the administrative composition of the organization. The correct decision making to the assignment problem and the right person in the right place will increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the organization. The previous methods to solve these problems depend on a single criterion such as cost, profit, time and so on. In this paper, three models were formulated for the of multi-criteria assignment problem. The first model multiple objective for present assignment problem when the assignment matrix is square, while the second and third models are a non-square assignment problem. The second model is the number of rows is greater than the number of columns while the third model where the number of columns larger than the rows. The second model is applied to the assignment problem of unit managers in the college of Administration and Economics based on two criteria: deferring the employee's desire to leader of task and the other criterion of assignment cost and using goal programming method.
