Las fuentes sobre los miembros que alli participaron son muy escasas y confusas. Empleando la tecnica de la observacion documental se han seleccionado, revisado y analizado tres bases de datos con datos olimpicos, 20 monografias, dos articulos, dos boletines oficiales y nueve medios de comunicacion escritos. Los resultados nominalmente de todos los deportistas espanoles que participaron en los Juegos Olimpicos de Amberes en 1920 los hemos cruzado con los archivos militares que custodian los expedientes personales, obteniendo catorce nombres de posibles participantes militares. Analizados estos catorce expedientes militares se descartan a cuatro personas, uno por estar de baja y tres por no estar en activo. Las conclusiones muestran que los militares espanoles en activo, pertenecientes a las Fuerzas Armadas, que participaron en los Juegos Olimpicos de 1920 en Amberes son, Jose Bento Lopez, Antonio Bonilla San Martin, Luis Calvet Sandoz, Jaime Camps Gordon, Ignacio Estevez Estevez, Jose de Figueroa y Alonso-Martinez, Antonio Moreira Montero, Angel Pradel Cid, Domingo Rodriguez Somoza y Leon Villarin Cano. Abstract The purpose of this study is to identify the Spanish militaries in active belonging to the Armed Forces who participated in the 1920 Olympic Games in Antwerp. The sources about the members who participated are very few and confusing. Employing the technique of documentary observation have been selected, reviewed and analyzed three databases with olympic data, 20 monographs, two articles, two official bulletins and nine written media. The results nominally of all Spanish sportsmen who participated in the Olympic Games in Antwerp in 1920 have crossed with the military archives that guard the personal dossiers, obtaining fourteen names of possible militaries participants. After analyzing these fourteen military files, four people were discarded, one for being on leave and three for not being in active. Partiremos del supuesto, que los seres humanos, no podemos vivir sin la existencia de los valores, debemos posicionarnos axiológicamente. La hermenéutica, como método aplicado a la teoría de los valores deportivos, nos servirá para comprender críticamente los procedimientos de racionalidad vital, posibilitar la comprensión y la transmisión histórica, lo que nos obligará a ser capaces de proponer nuevos fundamentos teóricos para el análisis de las relaciones humanas. Pretenderemos, en nuestro estudio, profundizar en el terreno de la significación teórica, un hecho que derivará en un giro a la investigación tradicional, sobre todo en el contexto de trabajos comunicativos. The word hermeneutics comes from the Greek -ἑρμηνεύειν- which means “to interpret, explain or translate”. We will start from the assumption that we human beings cannot live without the values’ existence, we must position ourselves in an axiological way. By applying hermeneutics to the theory of sport’s values, it will help us to critically understand the procedures of vital rationality, enable understanding, and also the historical transmission, which will make us capable of coming up with new theoretical foundations for the analysis of human relationships. In our study, we intend to go deeper into the field of theoretical significance, a fact that will lead to a turnaround in traditional research, especially in the context of communicative works. The main purpose of the study must be to open up the dialogic need for new ways of understanding the meaning of reality as something diverse and complex. En estos diez años, el ciclismo se desarrolló tanto en la vertiente de ocio como en la competitiva. En ambos casos se generó un enconado debate entre expertos, especialmente médicos, escritores y religiosos, y los propios aficionados al ciclismo, sobre la conveniencia (o no) de que las mujeres montasen en bicicleta. A los argumentos sobre la salud y la vestimenta, que habitualmente han centrado la atención historiográfica sobre el ciclismo femenino, pronto se sumaron aquellos que hacían referencia a la posibilidad de generar espacios de sociabilidad proclives al surgimiento del amor duradero. Un campo aparte fue el ciclismo de competición, que, si bien fue apoyado por los partidarios de la bicicleta, no terminó de cuajar entre la población y no hubo muchas mujeres que se dedicasen profesionalmente a este deporte. AbstractIn the 1890s, Spanish cycling experienced a great boom, especially in men, but also in women. In those years, cycling developed both as leisure and as competition. In both cases, there was a lively debate among experts, particularly physicians, writers and religious authorities, and cycling fans, about whether riding bicycles was a suitable activity for women (physically, psychologically and socially) as well as occurred in a transnational context. Most historians who address women’s cycling have focused on the arguments about health and clothing, but there also existed the question of cycling as a space for development of strong love relationships. Competitive cycling represents a very different case; although it was encouraged by bicycle supporters, it did not take hold among the population; and there were not many women who did this sport professionally. In this article I analyse these aspects through an in-depth study of journalistic sources. Besides, I use the most up-to-date and leading bibliographic contributions of national and international historiography. Otro de sus objetivos era construir el discurso sobre la nueva nacion que rompia con el pasado y que, entre cuyos objetivos, se encontraba la normalizacion de la ciudadania a traves de su regeneracion fisica y moral. Normalizacion donde la educacion fisica y el deporte se convertian en parte de las campanas de higienizacion social desplegadas por todo el pais. De esta manera, el territorio chiapaneco se incorporo a la institucionalizacion de la Revolucion mexicana y, dentro de ese proceso, las actividades fisicas se impulsaron e incrementaron desde los gobiernos posrevolucionarios chiapanecos y, tambien, desde las elites de la sociedad civil, muchas de ellas participes de los nuevos gobiernos e instituciones locales chiapanecas. Abstract Since the Mexican Revolution, the institutions created or reorganized by the post-revolutionary governments have, among many other challenges, spread in places physically far from the capital of political power, Mexico City. Another of its objectives was to build the discourse on the new nation that broke with the past and that, among its objectives, was the normalization of citizenship through its physical and moral regeneration. Standardization where physical education and sport became part of the social sanitation campaigns deployed throughout the country. Os dados indicam que os Jogos Eletrônicos de Movimento lançados no mercado na última década reproduzem princípios de experiências realizadas em diferentes cenários, não sustentando o rótulo de inovação, sendo as principais diferenças a melhoria da qualidade dos acessórios, dos jogos e a minimização dos custos.ResumenEste estudio tiene como objetivo investigar la trayectoria de valoración del movimiento en el desarrollo de juegos electrónicos desde la década de 1970 hasta la actualidad. Se trata de una investigación documental que utilizó como fuente de datos el contenido de sitios web de corporaciones comerciales, sitios de noticias de Juegos Electrónicos y páginas en línea de jugadores. Los datos indican que los Juegos Eletrócnico de Movimiento lanzados al mercado en la última década reproducen principios de experimentos llevados a cabo en diferentes escenarios, no sustentando la etiqueta de innovación, siendo las principales diferencias la mejora de la calidad de los accesorios, los juegos y la minimización de costos. Durante la primera mitad del siglo XX fueron evolucionando hacia un evento deportivo, compitiendo para obtener la bandera de la localidad organizadora. Con el paso del tiempo y la mejora en el transporte los equipos viajaban a otras localidades mas alejadas, creciendo el interes por estos enfrentamientos tradicionales. El numero de competiciones fue elevandose, pero hasta la publicacion de este articulo no se habia determinado cuando se produjo este crecimiento. Para conocer como ha evolucionado el numero de estas competiciones se han introducido todas las regatas de la historia en una base de datos, para constatar que hubo un aumento sustancial en los anos 1970, cuando varias localidades afianzaron sus competiciones. Tambien se ha observado un crecimiento en las regatas de traineras en los ultimos 10 anos debido a la presencia de competiciones en categoria femenina y veterana. Este aumento constante desde hace 50 anos ha sido debido principalmente a la creacion de clubes de remo en toda la franja Cantabrica, desde finales de los anos 1960. Estas instituciones se han fundado casi exclusivamente en las provincias de La Coruna, Pontevedra, Cantabria, Vizcaya y Guipuzcoa, regiones donde se celebran la mayoria de las competiciones de esta especialidad. Abstract I Trainera races are sports competitions held in northern Spain between boats made up of thirteen rowers and a skipper. Since the middle of the 19th century, the trainera were mainly used for fishing, and only competed in the festivals of their home towns, or those bordering them, with the aim of obtaining the economic prize and the flag of the organizing town. During the first half of the 20th century these competitions evolved into a sporting event, and their rowers, who had traditionally been fishermen, were replaced by members of sporting societies. The better structuring of the races, the political support, the increase in prizes, the improvement in transport and the strong identity of the local coastal communities led to an increase in interest in these traditional competitions. The number of competitions was increasing, but until the publication of this article it had not been determined when this growth occurred. In order to know how the number of these competitions has evolved, all the races in history have been entered into a database, to confirm that there was a increase in the 1970s, when several localities consolidated their competitions. There has also been an increase in the number of rowing boat races in the last 10 years due to the presence of competitions in the female and veteran categories. Galak, Pablo Kopelovich","doi":"10.20868/MHD.2020.20.4382","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.20868/MHD.2020.20.4382","url":null,"abstract":"En la Argentina de la década de 1920 se produjo un proceso de escolarización de los deportes –esto es, su inclusión en los establecimientos educativos–, para posteriormente, con el desarrollo de la década de 1940, llevarse a cabo otro de pedagogización de los deportes. Con este posicionamiento teórico como trasfondo, en este escrito se indagan los discursos de una figura importante en esteproceso, cuya trayectoria política y deportiva a la vez da cuenta de dicho pasaje hacia la pedagogización de los deportes: Benigno Rodríguez Jurado. Interesa especialmente analizar sus discursos en torno a la cultura física y los deportes, particularmente aquellos que realiza en su gestión como director del Departamento de Cultura Física de la Universidad Nacional de La Plata. En lo que respecta a su idea de cultura física, se observa que está vinculada a la búsqueda delmejoramiento de la salud, en línea con las concepciones que sobre este término se hacían en el contexto nacional y latinoamericano, a la vez que remite a ciertas ideas eugenésicas al referir almejoramiento de las generaciones futuras. Por otra parte, se analizan los sentidos sobre lo deportivo, con cierta idealización de su práctica, con tono moralizante, encontrando ciertas tensiones entre eldeporte escolar y el federado. De todo ello se desprende que, mientras fue director, Benigno Rodríguez Jurado desarrolló en elDepartamento de Cultura Física, y a través de la enseñanza de la Educación Física en el Colegio Nacional y el Colegio Secundario de Señoritas, un laboratorio de ideas para una escolarización deldeporte, es decir su inclusión curricular, y posteriormente, en la Dirección General de Educación Física y Cultura de la provincia de Buenos Aires, desde 1940, desplegó una pedagogización de los deportes. AbstractIn 1920s, in Argentina, was developed a schooling process of sports –that is, its inclusion in educational establishments–, and later, with the development of the 1940s, was the time of a pedagogizationprocess of sports. With this theoretical positioning as a background, this paper analyzes the discourses of an important figure in this process, who’s political and sports career at the same time shows thisprocesses passage: Benigno Rodríguez Jurado. It is especially interesting to understand his speeches about physical culture and sports, particularly those he performs as director of the Department ofPhysical Culture of the National University of La Plata. Regarding his idea of physical culture, it is observed that it is linked to health improvement, in line with other national and international meanings, referring to certain eugenic rhetoric. On the other hand, Rodríguez Jurado sports senses show a certain idealization of their practice, with a moralizing tone, finding tensions between school sports and federated sports.
