The purpose of this study was to obtain how students’ perception toward competence mastery of certified lecturers in Islamic Education study program is. The approach used in this study was descriptive quantitative approach. Meanwhile, the data analysis used in this study was scoring. The results of this study indicated that students’ perception on the statement about lecturer pedagogical competence, on average, gave the response “very good” with a score of 254,09. In the category of professional competence, the average answer was “very good” with a score of 259,28. In the category of personality competence, the average response was “very good” with a score of 258,85. Today, they face a complicated problem related to social identity. Atomistic, impersonal and competitive society in the market and capitalism cause society does not find their individual identity in social identity. This study aimed to determine the views of Al-Ghazali and Emile Durkheim about the differences and similarities of moral education as well as the relevance of the two figures’ thoughts. This study used the Library Research type. The data collection used primary and secondary sources. Data are analyzed using historical, descriptive, analytical and comparative methods. The results indicate that moral education based on Al-Ghazali's view is to configure humans who are saintly to get closer to God. The sources of al-Ghazali’s moral education are revelation and strict guidance from the sheikh so it does not optimize the function of reason. Meanwhile, moral education of Emile Durkheim is a social means to realize social goals. The cultivation of religious moderation is framed in a religious activity entitled B'Religi with the hope that students can understand and apply religious moderation in everyday life both in the school and especially in the society. This research uses a qualitative approach with a single case study type. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis used a descriptive-exploratory model involving three components of analysis, namely: data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. This study concludes that religious moderation cannot be done conceptually through formal learning. Pancasila is the basis of the Indonesian state which the first principle says that God is One and Only. This shows that the state respects religion. Based on this, Islamic religious education as a moral builder of the Indonesia generation which is the majority generation. Indonesia is not a religious country but places One and the Only God in the order of priority. Based on this, curriculum planning by considering the plurality of Indonesian society is important to be reviewed. This study uses a qualitative method using a literature review approach.  Researchers found that the secular state also places religious education, living out beliefs and beliefs as important provisions for its citizens, and it is guaranteed by state law. Religion, belief, belief affect the psychological and individual qualities that affects the progress of the country. Following that, The National Education System becomes a guideline for the implementation of Islamic Religious Education. The occurrence of a character crisis in the current generation of the Indonesian nation makes the formation of religious character a necessity that must begin with basic education. This study aims to describe the reasons for the Muhammadiyah Tanjung Redeb Elementary School to instill religious character values ​​to students, and the model of religious character formation conducted at the Muhammadiyah Elementary School in Tanjung Redeb.This research uses a qualitative approach to the type of case study. Research data were collected by observation, interview and documentation techniques, and analyzed by data condensation techniques, data presentation (disply data) and conclusion drawing. Research results show that the inculcation of religious character values ​​in SD Muhammuhammadiyah Tanjung Redeb is based on psychological aspects that refer to the condition of learners' behavior, theological aspects that are based on Islamic religious teachings, and constitutional aspects based on state rules. Whereas the model of the cultivation of religious character values ​​that are applied at SD Muhammadiyah Tanjung Redeb includes moral modeling (providing moral exemplary), moral knowing (providing moral knowledge), habituation (habituation), and moral acting (practicing morals) which are packaged in integrated programs. and sustainable. The research approach uses a qualitative case study type, as informants there are 10 students in semester V C who take Learning Method Course: Islamic Cultural History and a lecturer for the course supervisor. Data collection technique uses observation, interviews, documentation and data analysis model uses the theory of Miles and Huberman through data reduction and presentation, as well as verification. The results of the study show (1) the Islamic Cultural History learning process for Islamic Education Department students is very necessary, both to broaden their horizons and to imitate the personal example of the Prophet, his friends, and believers in general. The flow of the learning process begins with the lecturer making plans for 1 semester (16 meetings) in which each meeting has a predetermined target. While the material is for class X, odd semester, in accordance with KMA No. 183 as many as 16 of 28 KD (57.14 %), and the methods most favored by the informants are the recitation method, role play, lectures, concept maps, and discussions. (2) Student responses to Islamic Cultural History learning using multiple methods are necessary and needed, such as the movie method, scramble, concept maps, etc. along with the steps. The use of these various methods makes the learning atmosphere livelier and students' memory is stronger on the Islamic Cultural History material messages to be implemented. This research uses constructivism paradigm with descriptive qualitative approach and case study research type. Research informants consisted of the person in charge of the Qur'an literacy program, managers, tutors, and students. Data were collected using field observations, interviews and documentary techniques, while data analysis was carried out using an interactive model through data condensation, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results showed that the Al-Qur'an literacy model at the State Islamic Institute (IAIN) Kediri was carried out through the following stages: (1) forming a homogeneous class based on the cognitive competence of students; (2) maximizing the cognitive and affective competencies of the tutors as controllers of the continuity of learning al-Qur'an literacy; (3) maximizing the results of the collaboration of modelling, drilling, and habituation methods in the learning model of al-Qur'an literacy, and (4) strengthening the quality of student reading through tahsin and tashih carried out by tutors and managers of al-Qur'an literacy learning.
