This is because the technique is based on gamma distribution to the model user and item matrix. Using gamma distribution is reasonable for check-in frequencies which are all positive in real datasets. However, PMF is based on Gaussian distribution that can allow negative frequency values as well. Conclusion: The motive of the work is to identify the best technique for recommending locations with the highest accuracy and allow users to choose from a plethora of available locations; the best and interesting location based on the individual’s profile. Originality: A rigorous analysis of Probabilistic Matrix Factorization techniques has been performed on popular LBSNs and the best technique for location recommendation has been identified by comparing the accuracy viz RMSE, Precision@N, Recall@N, F1@N of different models. Limitations: User’s contextual information like demographics, social and geographical preferences have not been considered while evaluating the efficiency of probabilistic matrix factorization techniques for POI Recommendations.

The samples of the rhizosphericsoils were taken and bimonthly monitoring was applied until 5 collection cycles were obtained. The physicochemical parameters, abundance of functional groups of microorganisms, and enzymatic activities ofthe soil were determined and analyzed by means of univariate and multivariate statistical analysis. \u0000Conclusion: The research hypothesis was validated since the mycorrhizae inoculation significantly increased the values of the soil quality indicators, namely organic carbon (14%), moisture (19%), phosphorus (30%), abundanceof nitrogen-fixing bacteria (5.5%), phosphate-solubilizing bacteria (7.8%), cellulolytic bacteria (9.3%), and phosphate-solubilizing fungi (2.6%). In addition, the local native mycorrhizae that were isolated by theauthors showed greater benefits than those of the commercial mycorrhizae. \u0000Originality: This research reveals the impact of mycorrhizae on the soil quality indicators over time during thefirst year of application, especially on the microbial and enzymatic parameters. \u0000Limitations: Several authors have investigated the importance of the mycorrhizae on the physicochemical parameters of the plant, and not on the microbial and enzymatic parameters of the soil.

Methodology: The use of crushed stone aggregates without quality standards, those that guarantee the resistance of commercial concrete, is a problem in the country; with the understanding that the physical properties of stone aggregates affect the physical properties of fresh concrete and hardening strength. In this study, crushed stone aggregates of a “Rodeb” collection center in Tocancipa, used for the construction of its Free Trade Zone and of technically supported aggregate types in the capital city, will be physically characterized to measure the mechanical variation in concrete of 21 and 28 MPa. Results: It was found that the “Rodeb collection” aggregates comply with the physical parameters that achieve the expected design resistance and to a greater degree than the results obtained by the certified quality aggregates. Conclusion: This project seeks to raise awareness about the variability in the physical and mechanical properties of concrete, according to the characterization of the crushed stone aggregates used. Originality: It seeks to implement a mix design in the Rodeb collection for its aggregates. Limitations: To continue with the investigation, it is necessary to carry out additional tests of physical-chemical characterization to better understand how the texture and shape of aggregates can influence the mechanic properties of concrete. Additionally, it is important to disseminate the results in the Tocancipa community.

Problem: Currently one of the main problems presented by robotic hand prostheses is the way in which the user indicates the movements to be performed. Given this, the best results have been obtained using invasive systems. Objective: The main objective of the system is to allow a person to control the movements and / or gestures of a robotic hand using their thoughts, in such a way that the control is as natural and precise as possible. Methodology: Use is made of a non-invasive, low-cost brain-computer interface (BCI) for the generation of control system references. Results: The performance of the system is directly subject to the user's ability to recreate actions or movements in their mind; the more defined your thinking, the better the control response. Conclusion: Mind control represents a new challenge for users, but as it is used, it becomes a more natural and precise control method, offering great control possibilities to people who make daily use of robotic hand prostheses. Originality: Through this research, an alternative is formulated for the control of hand prostheses, which does not require invasive systems and has the advantage of being low cost. Limitations: Frustration, stress and external noise are factors that directly affect the performance of the system.
