The field of medical imaging has become more important because of the increasing need for automated and efficient diagnoses within a short period of time. Imaging technique plays an important role in RBC research for hematology. Classification is an important component of the retrieval system which allows one to distinguish between normal RBCs and abnormal RBCs which indicate anemia. In this paper, image processing techniques that use the optimization segmentation and mean filter play an important role in obtaining the geometric, texture and color features related to RBC images by using a photo imaging microscope. The final quality of finished surface is mainly influenced by the interaction between the work piece, cutting tool and machining system. Therefore, many researchers attempted to develop an efficient prediction systems for surface roughness before machining. In this paper, Optimal Pruned Extreme Learning Machine (OPELM) is proposed for modelling and predicting surface roughness with respect to its cutting parameters in turning based machining process. The surface roughness models obtained from other methods such as Response Surface Method, Neural Network and Extreme Learning Machine were compared with the experimental results. Our experimental study consist of 15 workpieces that were used for cutting using turning operation. The correlation between the input parameters such as feed rate, cutting speed and depth of cut with surface roughness was modelled using OPELM. Results from the study indicated that three major green computing initiatives have been identified and adopted by Malaysian IT industry are: Telecommuting, Algorithmic Efficiency and Voice over Internet Protocol (VOIP). In software development, requirement engineering is a very crucial process; in addition, it is knowledge-intensive, repetitive and time-consuming activity. Knowledge and experiences in requirement engineering should be managed systematically and efficiently for sharing and reuse purposes to avoid any software pitfalls and to improve the software development as a whole. A model, namely Requirement Engineering for Experience Based Factory Model (RE-EBF-Model), has been proposed to manage requirement knowledge to maximize the benefit of knowledge sharing among the community of practice. This study takes a step further to elaborate the components dealing with requirement engineering processes. The preliminary evaluation of these components has been conducted with a pilot survey to pre-test the questionnaire and corroborate its validity and reliability. However, although Malaysia is a fast developing country in South-East Asia [1], SMEs in manufacturing sector faces failures. Many studies have revealed that market orientation has positive impact on business performance. However, the literature is inconsistent; therefore, this article proposes to explore the effect of market orientation (MO) on manufacturing small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and the moderating role of e-commerce on the relationship between the two constructs. This could help to enhance SME performance in manufacturing sector in Malaysia in order to avoid failure and maintain success. In addition, this study aims to enrich the literature concerning the effects of market orientation on SME success within the Malaysian context taking into consideration the moderating effect of e-commerce. To the best of the researcher knowledge, the current study is the first to examine such moderator on MO-performance relationship. The existing of numerous modeling concepts and design features in web applications, thus raises new issues on modeling approach. In this paper, we present and discuss the uses of user interaction diagram, object-oriented approach and Unified Modeling Language (UML) notation for complex web applications. Our main objective is to propose a web application design model which is based on UML 2.0 profile and stereotypes. We propose user interaction diagram to capture users' information from use case diagram and specific UML modeling elements to model conceptual, navigational and user interface features of complex web applications. The uniqueness of our proposed design model stands in the design patterns modeling approaches. A summary is a concise representation of underlying text. A full understanding of the document is essential to form an ideal summary. However, achieving full understanding is either difficult or impossible for computers. Therefore, selecting important sentences from the original text and presenting these sentences as a summary present the most common techniques in automated text summarization. This paper propose a hybrid clustering method(partitioning and hierarchical) to group many Arabic documents into several clusters .Then keyphrase extraction module is applied to extract important Keyphrases from each cluster, which helps identify the most important sentences and find similar sentences based on several similarity algorithms. It applied to extract one sentence from a group of similar sentences while ignoring the other similar sentences (i.e., sentences that have a greater similarity than the predefined threshold). This model is designed for both single-and multi-document Arabic text summarization. The Recall-Oriented Understudy for Gisting Evaluation (ROGUE) matrix used for the evaluation. For the summarization dataset, Essex Arabic Summaries Corpus was used. It has many topic based articles with multiple human summaries.
