Based on data in 2018 and 2019 this company has not been able to reach the predetermined production target. Another problem is the amount of resources used is not proportional to the results of production. The purpose of this study is to measure the level of productivity of the Production Division. The method used is the Objective Matrix (OMAX) method. Determination of the weight of each ratio using the AHP method. The second objective is to determine the proposed improvement using a traffic light system, Pareto diagram, cause-effect diagram, and 5W + 1H. The measurement criteria are the use of steel plates, electricity consumption, welding wire, time to repair, normal working hours, overtime and the number of workers. Based on the measurement results using the OMAX method, it is known that there is a decrease in the level of productivity to below the standard productivity level, namely in January of -0.171, March of -0.03, July of -0.15 and December of -0.29. The productivity level that was above the standard productivity level occurred in February of 0.37, May of 1.80, June of 0.10, August of 0.32, September of 1.096, October of 1.82, November of 0.01 , with a traffic light system and Pareto diagram, improvements were made to the welding wire consumption performance.","PeriodicalId":408302,"journal":{"name":"Jurnal Penelitian Teknik industri","volume":"27 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-03-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116578309","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Likewise, several other aspects that are closely related to ergonomics. Like anatomy and physiology, it is also necessary to know the causes of work discomfort, both from a human perspective as well as energy expenditure due to the workload it receives. The work station is an important part of an industry. With an ergonomic work station, employees can work safely, comfortably and productively. Conversely, if the work station is not ergonomic, incorrect postures will arise, so that the person's work performance will decrease, ineffective and efficient. This is because these postures can cause fatigue faster than ergonomic conditions. Workstations that cause work postures that are not ergonomic are found at the weaving operation station at PT “XX. The posture will be analyzed using biomechanics. And heart rate analysis is also performed to determine energy costs. Ergonomic workstations are also closely related to the match between the dimensions of the operator's body segments with the dimensions of the facilities used. If there is a mismatch, it will reduce the effectiveness of the operator's work. For this reason, work facilities that do not conform to the dimensions of the relevant operator body segment need to be redesigned. This redesign uses the operator population anthropometric data in the weaving operation.","PeriodicalId":408302,"journal":{"name":"Jurnal Penelitian Teknik industri","volume":"89 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-03-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134436285","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In general, utilization is the benefit obtained from consuming goods. Utilization is a measure of the benefits of an item compared to its alternative use. The actual number of products at PT.ABC during the July-September 2019 period was smaller than the target number of products. For example, in September 2019 the targeted number of products was 3,432 pcs, but actually in that month only 3,282 were achieved. This condition is the basis for analyzing the utilization of the Blasting Tower Type Chun Horng CH-100ZA machine, to determine the level of machine availability at PT.ABC. The calculation method that will be used is MTBF (Mean Time Between Falure), MTTR (Mean Time To Repair), Availability and Utilization. With a target of 91% machine availability, it will be able to produce 100% target utilization. After calculating, the Availability value in July was 95.81%, in August it was 97.63%, and in September it was 94%, so the target utilization of 100% should have been fulfilled.","PeriodicalId":408302,"journal":{"name":"Jurnal Penelitian Teknik industri","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-03-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132259923","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
