To overcome this issue, it is essential to design learning more interactive with relevant scenarios and story. Besides that, developing a user interface for mobile responsive system requires a careful consideration and users’ feedback. In this study, the authors not only proposed the overall framework of interactive learning story, but also conducted a simple evaluation to determine its quality for learning. In order to further development, the user interface designed in this project follows the flat design concept and responsive mobile design. To understand the actual learning experience, this prototyping was continuously tested for improvement. The findings of this study are used for the next phase of system development and validation.","PeriodicalId":407992,"journal":{"name":"2019 4th International Conference on Information Technology (InCIT)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125898017","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A post office is the logistics establishment that has to manage a group of delivery vehicles where its current routing solution might not be effective, relying on skills of delivery drivers which could lead to unnecessary consumption of fuel; thus, determining the optimal vehicle routing to deliver parcels, known as Vehicle Routing Problem (VRP), could help save its cost greatly. This study used Evolutionary-based algorithms, Differential Evolution (DE) combined with Large Neighborhood Search (LNS) to find optimal routing for delivery vehicles belonging to the Chiang Rai post office, Thailand. The approach was applied to the routing of two vehicles responsible for one delivery zone in urban Chiang Rai area. The results showed that such optimization method had the average total distance per day per vehicle of 19.43 km, ~32.7% lower than that of current routing employed by the post office, given that 29 days of data for vehicle routing were tracked. The proposed combined method could be used as an effective decision-maker in the routing process for the post office.","PeriodicalId":407992,"journal":{"name":"2019 4th International Conference on Information Technology (InCIT)","volume":"44 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128518186","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this paper, we propose a power allocation scheme for maximizing sum rate for downlink NOMA system in the presence of imperfect successive interference cancellation (SIC). The proposed scheme uses deep learning to predict the optimal power allocation through exhaustive search. Simulation results reveal that the proposed scheme can achieve the sum rate performance close to the optimal scheme but with much lower computational complexity.","PeriodicalId":407992,"journal":{"name":"2019 4th International Conference on Information Technology (InCIT)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129367706","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, such platforms are resource-intensive, relatively expensive, and lead to longer response time due to network latency. Hence, cloud computing may not always be suitable for unusually large scale deployment. Various edge computing solutions have been proposed to overcome the above issues. However, most of such solutions rely upon expensive edge servers, which make them unsuitable for distributed applications like image recognition in agricultural fields. In this paper, we propose a hierarchical edge computing-based image recognition system in which the major processing is carried out at low-cost gateway devices like Raspberry Pi. As an example case, we address the issue of recognition of animals intruding in agricultural fields. We implement a dynamic learning method, in which a convolutional neural network is dynamically trained to recognize potential target classes based on a specific deployment environment. The AI detection module is then loaded on to the lowest level of edge servers on gateway devices for detection of animals and providing feedback. Experiments show that our proposed recognition system can perform offline image classification tasks with up to seven times higher accuracy and more than two times faster evaluation time in comparison with general-purpose cloud recognition systems. Besides, it consumes less than 6% of the network bandwidth and only a fraction of the energy as well as other computational resources compared with existing approaches.","PeriodicalId":407992,"journal":{"name":"2019 4th International Conference on Information Technology (InCIT)","volume":"10 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121174084","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The exercise poses are separated into two types: symptom and body part and each type is classified into stretching and strengthening. Each exercise also has an associated video for a demonstration to patients. The exercise prescription includes the exercise photos, step by step descriptions, and the QR code that links to the demonstration video for each exercise pose. Moreover, the doctor can specify each exercise pose with a duration period for each time and the number of times to do per day. After all, the system creates the exercise prescription in a PDF file and saves it in a particular patient’s medical record as well as generates a QR (Quick Response) code for the patient to scan and view the exercise prescription via his/her own Android smartphone. This paper describes Rehab-X and programming techniques which can be applied for issuing any further medical prescriptions on Android smartphone system.","PeriodicalId":407992,"journal":{"name":"2019 4th International Conference on Information Technology (InCIT)","volume":"22 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127914070","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It is inconvenient for the users are unable to perform all activities during the specified times. It stands for Smartwatches based Physical Activity Recognition. Therefore, the users who utilize the model, are not necessary to gather initial the labeled data. The experiments were carried out to examine the performance of S-PAR model against with state-of-the-art methods by using two public databases collected under realistic conditions.
