It is software that checks a network or system for potentially dangerous behavior or policy violations. However, the conventional methods failed to detect the malicious activity, which resulted in false alarms. Moreover, the classification of IDS is also quite challenging. Therefore, this work implements an intrusion detection and classification system (IDCS) using a unified gradient-boosted decision tree (GBDT) classifier, hereafter named GBDT-IDS, with preprocessing and data balancing techniques. First, a preprocessing operation is carried out to eliminate the missing symbols, unknown characters, and special letters. Then, the synthetic minority oversampling technique (SMOTE) is used to balance the dataset, which equalizes all the samples of available classes in the dataset. In addition, the balanced dataset is trained with the GBDT-IDS classifier, where GBDT model performance is improved by extreme gradient boosting (XGBoost). Finally, the proposed GBDT-IDS model successfully classifies the denial-of-service (DoS), probe, remote to user (R2U), user to root (U2R) attacks, and normal attacks. The simulation results conducted on the Network Security Laboratory-Knowledge Discovery Databases (NSL-KDD) dataset show that the proposed GBDT-IDS system performs superiorly as compared to the state-of-the-art approaches of IDS.","PeriodicalId":407202,"journal":{"name":"2022 International Conference on Automation, Computing and Renewable Systems (ICACRS)","volume":"64 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-13","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125803377","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A cipher text is chosen randomly from a set of cipher texts matching the message to encipher a message. This paper proposes randomizing the existing DPCES to secure information transmission in a steganography system. The randomization concept is applied to a flexible DPCES, a Character Binary encoding scheme used in steganography. This would significantly improve the effectiveness of defense against statistical analysis aimed at revealing the message of suspecting the steganography method is under attack. Knowledge of the exact mapping dot pattern applied to encode the message is required to extract the message. An attacker's probability of knowing the encoding scheme would be very low, if not zero. Thus, the Steganography system becomes highly secured with a randomized encoding scheme. The binary data is computed using R-DPCES and inserted into the cover. The stego-cover is transmitted to the intended recipient through the public channel.","PeriodicalId":407202,"journal":{"name":"2022 International Conference on Automation, Computing and Renewable Systems (ICACRS)","volume":"37 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-13","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126899586","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

ASD is mental health problem that affects communicational, social, and non-verbal performances. It could not be cured entirely but is decreased when identified initially. The primary analysis was hampered by the difference and severity of ASD symptoms and containing symptoms usually realized in other mental health problems as well. With the application of machine learning (ML) for the predictive and recognition of several diseases with optimum accuracy, a ray of hope to initial recognition of ASD dependent upon many physiological and physical parameters is projected. This article designs an Equilibrium Optimizer with Deep Learning Model for Autism Spectral Disorder Classification (EODL-ASDC) technique. The presented EODL-ASDC technique mainly focuses on the identification and classification of ASD. To attain this, the presented EODL-ASDC technique exploits the deep belief network (DBN) system to perform the classification procedure. In addition, the EO algorithm is employed for the optimal hyperparameter tuning of the DBN approach. To demonstrate the enhanced ASD classification result of the EODL-ASDC approach, an extensive range of experimental evaluates was executed. The experimental results demonstrate the improvements of the EODL-ASDC technique over other approaches.","PeriodicalId":407202,"journal":{"name":"2022 International Conference on Automation, Computing and Renewable Systems (ICACRS)","volume":"86 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-13","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126046093","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Video data was concealed using a linear sensing technique for greater quality. By reducing changes across pixels to obtain discrete micro-block features while keeping their statistical properties, micro-block residuals can be assessed using CS. In order to create many histograms, micro blocks with related features are grouped together using CS. The seamless integration of data into video is the project’s main objective. The picture quality ratio and PSNR rate of the image are improved using this method. This method uses a micro-block-based approach to increase PSNR and improve security. In order to eliminate shifting distortions, data embedding is used on each of these histograms to extend the outermost bins while maintaining the size of the inner bins. Numerous RDH strategies based on multiple HS (MHS) based on spatial correlations of multimedia are offered to protect copyright, in which several histograms are constructed using some strict criteria. Compared to photographs, video has more three-dimensional and temporal linkages, and it’s simple to obtain histograms with greater clarity. Reduced embedding distortions enable lossless restoration of the cover thanks to the reversible data hiding (RDH) technology. Histogram shifting is one RDH strategy that is widely employed (HS).","PeriodicalId":407202,"journal":{"name":"2022 International Conference on Automation, Computing and Renewable Systems (ICACRS)","volume":"15 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-13","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126662893","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

EVs provide environmental and social advantages. The electricity demand to charge these cars will skyrocket, straining the power system. Thus, several EV charging stations will be connected to the grid. Harmonics will be created, affecting voltage stability and power quality. In this Paper, harmonic analysis and THD are assessed with an increase in charging stations. This study considers transformer loads, harmonics, and voltage instability. Using an LCL filter at the rectifier end reduces harmonics for a same number of charging cars.","PeriodicalId":407202,"journal":{"name":"2022 International Conference on Automation, Computing and Renewable Systems (ICACRS)","volume":"41 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-13","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114249447","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Recently, it has been observed in many women, and it has been responsible for several fatalities. In order to prevent this terrible disease, it is important to forecast the likelihood of cancer in its earliest stages. Machine learning is a novel AI approach whose potential for cancer prediction has not yet been fully understood. In this work, the ability of machine learning classifiers is employed to forecast breast cancer. Machine learning algorithms applied in this work to predict the breast cancer are Support Vector Classifier, Random Forest Classifier, KNN Classifier, and Logistic Regression Classifier. The experiment's findings show that Logistic Regression outperforms the other three prediction methods.","PeriodicalId":407202,"journal":{"name":"2022 International Conference on Automation, Computing and Renewable Systems (ICACRS)","volume":"219 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-13","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122842477","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Indians have been cultivating land since the Indus Valley Civilization. Although historically significant, this country’s farmers are starving to death while their counterparts in other countries receive the benefits of their labour to the tune of billions. Lack of proper supply chain management is a contributing factor. It’s common knowledge that poorly cared-for farming machinery quickly deteriorates. However, current methods of supply chain management do not enable farmers to track the whereabouts of their commodities, even though the government supplies them with storage facilities. Since no system is in place, they have no idea where their packages are at any one time during the shipping process. Therefore, there is a need for more stringent supply chain management, including checks at each level and double-checking by farmers and government officials to ensure the integrity of goods. This study suggests implementing Blockchain technology, which allows for more transparent information on the status of commodities, to enhance the relationship between producers and consumers. By recording this information on the blockchain, all of the farmers and government employees involved in the shipping process can stay apprised of the operation’s finer points. Records can be kept forever in an immutable format.","PeriodicalId":407202,"journal":{"name":"2022 International Conference on Automation, Computing and Renewable Systems (ICACRS)","volume":"28 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-13","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123477725","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
