Thus, due to the impact of the teaching profession on society, teachers are responsible for providing their students with skills suitable for the 21 st century, moreover, for the present and future times, which requires that each teacher be a competent and reflective professional, making their training and the quality of their practices urgent. In 2020, despite recognizing the existence of teachers who used online tools to support their classes, this did not resonate with an adequate full preparation for the suspension of teaching activities at the school and the Emergency Remote Teaching caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. The difficulties that the school community encountered, and its willingness to reuse the efforts made, to change the educational paradigm, formed the basis of our research problem, in which we intend to study collaborative training and pedagogical practices using e-learning. Our work followed the Project Methodology, focusing this text on the planning phase, by presenting the design of a training action we created for Basic and Secondary school teachers from the island of S. Miguel, in Azores, Portugal, with the purpose of integrating the digital platform Microsoft Teams in their teaching practices.
