It contains a low-calorie sweetener, which is about 300 times sweeter than sucrose. Diabetes mellitus is among the common metabolic disorders affecting about 2.8% of the world’s population and is reported to reach 5.4% by the year 2025. In this work, insulin was successfully extracted from Rebaudiana bertoni to serve as an alternative to bovine insulin extracted from animals which is devoid of the risk of transferring infectious diseases from the animals to the diabetic patient as is the case with convectional animal-based insulin. Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectroscopy (GC-MS) and Fourier Transform InfraRed (FTIR) analysis were used to analyze and determine the functional groups available in the isolated compound and the results shows that it has retention time of 14.11 min; abundance/peak area (% PA) of 86.613 %; mass number (m/z) of 413 g/mol; molecular peak ion of 149; fragmentation patterns of 7; and C20H29BrO4 as molecular formula and phthalic acid, 8-bromoctyl butyl ester as IUPAC name. The insulin was tested on three groups of rats (Rattus norvegicus) whereby the glucose level was monitored, and the result shows that the extracted insulin was found to be effective in addition to having antidiabetic effect.","PeriodicalId":404993,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Multidisciplinary Approach Research and Science","volume":"01 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130892869","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Meanwhile, defense is defined as the most vital technology for the state in carrying out its national security function. National security is defined as the dynamic state of a country which covers all aspects of the nation's life in facing threats. National security includes protection for the state, society, and individuals. Until now, experts have provided several different definitions of the terms security and defense. This article analyzes the current digital information security threats in national security strategies and the implementation of adequate legal protections. This article applies a descriptive qualitative research approach by conducting document analysis. This article describes various information security threats in Indonesia, including disinformation, privilege escalation, and protection against phishing threats, data forgery, and card crime. The similarities and differences between the concepts of defense and security can be observed through regulations, the terminology used, institutions, and constitutions. This article shows that national information security is closely related to policy and closely relates to security, especially ITE policies. It cannot be separated that the security situation of a country depends on security and defense but synergistically with other factors, namely economic, political, legal, socio-cultural, ideological, geographical, and demographic.","PeriodicalId":404993,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Multidisciplinary Approach Research and Science","volume":"41 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121858252","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This study aims to examine the effect of audit tenure, audit fees, size of public accounting firm, auditor specialization, and audit rotation on audit quality. Audit quality is measured using a dummy variable by looking at going concern opinions made by independent auditors, audit fees are measured by Ln (natural logarithm), audit tenure is measured by calculating the number of years in which the same auditor has engaged the client, size of public accounting firm, specialization auditors, and rotation is measured using a dummy variable. The population in this study are Transportation and Logistics Service companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the 2017-2021 period which have been audited. The sample selection was carried out using purposive sampling method. The analytical method used to test the hypothesis is logistic regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that audit specialization has an effect on audit quality, while audit tenure, audit fees, size of a public accounting firm, and audit rotation have no effect on audit quality.","PeriodicalId":404993,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Multidisciplinary Approach Research and Science","volume":"127 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122488489","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Bukit Tangkiling Nature Park has sloping lowlands, undulating to hilly terrain, and very steep slopes of 2% to 45% at 25 to 170 metres above sea level. Year-to-year tourism increases. An increase in tourist visits can damage natural resources and the environment by exceeding the carrying capacity and capacity of the environment. Cifuentes (1992)'s method is used to calculate the natural tourist environment's carrying capacity in protected areas. The assessment to determine the maximum number of visits to a tourist area is based on the physical, biological and management conditions in the tourist area by considering three main aspects; physical carrying capacity (PCC), real carrying capacity (RCC) and effective carrying capacity (ECC). The research was conducted with the aim of analyzing the value of the effective carrying capacity (ECC). The maximum number of tourists that can visit the Bukit Tangkiling Natural Tourism Park without disrupting the ecology. PCC = 219.063, RCC = 5.475, MC = 0.9, ECC = 4,927 people/day. ECC of 353 people/day. This value is less than the Nature tourist Carrying Capacity Value and does not harm the environment of the natural tourist region. This allows Bukit Tangkiling Park growth.","PeriodicalId":404993,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Multidisciplinary Approach Research and Science","volume":"59 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"120984794","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Tourism is the mainstay sector of Bali’s economy. Tourist visits to Bali shot up sharply to more than hundreds of visits every week. This raises problems for Bali tourism in the future, especially in the transportation and accommodation sector, because to support daily activities and reduce vacation costs, foreign tourists prefer to rent motorized vehicles freely without showing an international driving license that must be owned by foreign citizens to be able to rent a motorized vehicle in Bali. This is of course an advantage for motor vehicle rental business actors, but on the other hand, traffic violations by foreign nationals have increased, even from minor violations to violations that result in the loss of a person's life. Landslides are one of the most dangerous natural hazards and occur frequently in many hilly or mountainous areas, often occurring without warning and causing loss of life and property, marked with movement material of slope-forming materials in the form of rocks, soil, or materials down the slope. This study aimed to identify the distribution of landslide-prone areas in 86 buffer villages in Lore Lindu National Park, Central Sulawesi Province using geographic information system (GIS) based spatial analysis with scoring and overlay. The research parameters consisted of land cover/use, rainfall, elevation, slope, soil type, lithology, and distance from the fault. Identification of vulnerability factors for susceptibility level was determined according to 7 parameters used in the analysis. The results showed that the level of landslide susceptibility in the study area was divided into 3 classes, namely low (85.679,74 ha), moderate (363.184,89 ha), and high (26.888,46 ha). Villages that have a high level of vulnerability are Lempelero, Runde, Sedoa, Tuare, and Tongoa.","PeriodicalId":404993,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Multidisciplinary Approach Research and Science","volume":"19 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114915682","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
