Due to the time variability of vehicular communication channel, it is very significant to study the temporal evolution of channel characterization criteria. We present evaluation results of the temporal evolution of the spectral efficiency from channel sounder measurements of vehicle-to-vehicle MIMO radio channels in the 5.2 GHz band. Our results show that MIMO channels with higher spatial correlation lead to lower ergodic capacity and a reduced signal-to-noise ratio-dependent critical data rate. The temporal evolution of the ergodic capacity and critical data rate shows that the channel with the strongest line of sight (LoS) component also has the highest capacity. We also present a detailed analysis of the environmental factors affecting the capacity pattern throughout the measurement run. The utilisation of millimetre-waves allows for the detection of both metallic and non-metallic objects. Setups using active illumination mainly exploit coherence between transmitted and received signal to perform beamforming or processing along a synthetic aperture. When dielectric objects should be detected, the assumptions done in these processing steps are often no longer given. The same applies for objects that are placed in front of a reflecting background like the human skin. The wave field scattered by the perturbations is then composed of waves scattered by the individual Gabor functions. FEM is widely used numerical method for solving nonlinear partial differential equations with variable coefficients. For that purpose motor model is developed with exact geometry and material's characteristics. Two different approaches are applied in FEM analysis of electromagnetic phenomena inside the motor: magneto-static where all electromagnetic quantities are analysed in exact moment of time meaning frequency f=0 Hz and time-harmonic magnetic approach where the magnetic field inside the machine is time varying, meaning frequency f=50 Hz.
