The industrial engineers and production planners of Company were included in this study. For information gathering the questionnaire designed by the researchers was used. The Fuzzy DEMATEL method has been used to investigate the factors affecting resilience in the selection of suppliers. Also, Fuzzy VIKOR and COPRAS-G method has been used to compare and to represent ranking suppliers. Since COPRAS-G approach is used to analyze the different alternatives, and to estimate the alternatives based on their significance, degree of utility and the decision makers’ support to make more accurate decisions. In this regard, thirteen criteria have been selected by industrial experts. Based on the results obtained from Fuzzy DEMATEL, cost, quality, delivery time, and risk factor are ranked respectively. Additionally, after comparing Fuzzy Vikor and COPPRAS-G, the results obtained from COPRAS-G showed the best ranked amounts throughout different alternatives. Finally, the results obtained from COPRAS-G showed the traditional criteria in resilience supplier selection ranked the first and supplier selection from the stakeholders' perspectives placed in second order. Furthermore, utility values and ranking candidate alternatives showed that the green supplier (A5) ranked the first, selection of suppliers (A3) was the next, following the traditional criteria (A1), supplier criteria(A4), supplier selection from the stakeholders' perspectives (A2), as the remaining ranks, respectively.","PeriodicalId":40344,"journal":{"name":"Nexo Revista Cientifica","volume":"238 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-09-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135041157","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Según el Banco Central de Honduras, este producto contribuye con el 4.8% al PIB nacional y al 34.8% del PIB agrícola, ocupando el tercer lugar como rubro generador de divisas en el país solo después de la maquila y las remesas. Alrededor de 112 mil familias dependen de este cultivo, el 85% está en manos de pequeños productores (Menores de 100 quintales), el 15 restante está en manos de medianos y grandes productores. En la última década el café se ha visto afectado por la enfermedad de la roya Hemileia vastatrix, que causa graves daños a las plantaciones de café, principalmente por el mal manejo agronómico del cultivo y del efecto del cambio climático, generando un impacto socioeconómico muy inestable en todo el país y especialmente en las zonas cafetaleras como lo es la región del Paraíso, que a pesar de las medidas que se han adoptado el 60% de las fincas cafetaleras que existen en el departamento han resultado afectadas entre las dos temporadas 2011-2012/2012-2013 causando una problemática socioeconómica a los productores y a toda la cadena de valor del café, y la reducción de divisas para el país de US$ 645.1 millones por venta de café en la cosecha 2011-2012; de igual modo la cosecha ha sido afectada significativamente en la cosecha 2017-2018, causando un decline significativo en las exportaciones del grano oro, donde bajo la producción en 1.3 millones de sacos. Por lo que el gobierno y todos los actores del rubro deben desarrollar estrategias eficientes técnicas y científicas para contrarrestar la roya, y poder construir conocimiento para poder ser transferido a los productores de café que finalmente son los más afectados.","PeriodicalId":40344,"journal":{"name":"Nexo Revista Cientifica","volume":"231 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-09-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135040982","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In practice, these values hardly coincide with the design values due to manufacturing and assembly processes or continuous use of the robot. In order to reduce this geometric error, it is necessary to calibrate the robot to update the geometric model and reduce the resulting error of the robot end-effector. In this work, we propose a methodology based on a vision system to calibrate the robot's geometric parameters and minimize the error between the robot’s end-effector theoretical and real trajectory. This way, variations are introduced to the geometric parameters that generate errors between the robot's desired position and the position developed. The results show up a reduction of the average position error of 54.6%.","PeriodicalId":40344,"journal":{"name":"Nexo Revista Cientifica","volume":"60 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-09-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135041151","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In the present work, the thermo-hydraulic design of a horizontal shell and tube heat exchanger intended to condense 25,000 kg/h of a pure ethanol stream was carried out. Several key design parameters were calculated such as the number of tubes, heat transfer area, overall heat transfer coefficient, shell internal diameter, baffle spacing, as well as the pressure drop for both streams. The heat exchanger type is of pull-through floating head, and will present a number of tubes of 731, a heat transfer area of 223.68 m2, an overall heat transfer coefficient of 499.36 W/m2.ºC, a shell internal diameter of 1.684 m and a baffle spacing of 0.674 m. Around 157 kg/s of chilled water will be required for this heat transfer service. The values of both the shell side (10,069.25 Pa) and tube side (42,192.63 Pa) pressure drop are below the maximum values set by the process.","PeriodicalId":40344,"journal":{"name":"Nexo Revista Cientifica","volume":"15 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-09-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135041268","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
