Уменьшение травматизма среди лиц пожарно-спасательных подразделений при тушении пожаров на объектах различного назначения, в частности вследствие воздействия опасных факторов электрического тока на организм человека. Поиск новых и усовершенствование существующих способов и средств обнаружения опасных источников электрической энергии с целью предупреждения спасателей при тушении пожаров. Методика. Выявление источников электрического тока на объекте пожаротушения путем измерения напряжения на участке потока огнетушащего вещества, ограниченной материалом с низкой электропроводностью. Результаты. Проведен анализ существующих средств предупреждения электрического травматизма, используемыми пожарно-спасательным подразделениям и другими инженерно-техническими работниками в сфере электроэнергетики. Показано низкую эффективность существующих сигнализаторов в условиях тушения пожаров, в том числе при наличии неучтенных источников питания, особенно с напряжением до 1000 вольт. Определены основные конструктивные элементы сигнализатора напряжения, установленного на пожарный рукав. Научная новизна. Предложен подход к выявлению опасности поражения электрическим током при подаче токопроводящих огнетушащих веществ, работоспособность которого подтверждено экспериментальным путем. Практическое значение. Использование пожарного рукава с сигнализатором напряжения позволит получить информацию о наличии опасного источника электрической энергии. Установление факта наличия на объекте пожаротушения неизвестного источника электрической энергии заставит руководителя тушения пожара принять определенные меры безопасности, таких как поиск и обесточивание источника, дополнительного использования диэлектрических средств, недопущения пребывания личного состава в местах возможного поражения.
