Besides having a wide application area, this type of crime also involves many discussions in terms of crime theory, such as the legal value protected by this type of crime, how to make sense of the concepts of sexual intercourse and exhibitionism in the legal text, whether the purpose or motive of the perpetrator has an effect on the formation of the crime in terms of its moral element, and what the characteristics this type of crime has in terms of the application of the provisions of participation. Many issues require a holistic analysis within the framework of crime theory. In this context, examine the types of crime is thought to be useful within the framework of both German and Turkish teachings and current judicial decisions. In order to understand why this occurs, two lesser-known constructs related to risk-taking behavior were investigated in this study: differential identification, which has yet to be empirically studied in the context of emerging adults, and criminogenic thinking, which has only been evaluated in this context to a minimal degree. To bridge the gap between these two constructs, motivation was hypothesized to be a moderator in each of these respective relationships. Data from 309 emerging adults were recruited via Amazon’s Mechanical Turk (MTurk) to complete the survey materials online. The analysis consisted of a hierarchical multiple linear regression. Results indicated that motivation did not moderate either relationship (i.e., differential identification and risk-taking behavior and criminogenic thinking and risk-taking behavior). However, a main effect was found between one aspect of differential identification and risk-taking behavior. No other main effects were found in this study. This year, the topic of the academic program was “Justice in the Virtual World” and covered digital transformation, information systems, Internet communication law, social networks, artificial intelligence, cybercrimes, virtual property, and human rights in cyberspace. The academic program was held for four days in the historical Doctorate Hall of the Istanbul University Rectorate Building and hosted national and international academics hailing from Brazil, Germany, Hungary, the Netherlands, Romania, Serbia, Turkey, and the USA. Technology has become an indispensable facilitator in our personal lives, the economy, and public activities; thus, issues surrounding technology are under the scrutiny of many disciplines. Calismamizda, ceza muhakemesi hukukunda molekuler genetik inceleme yontemi, ozel nitelikli kisisel verilerin korunmasi acisindan incelenmis ve oncelikle Turk ceza muhakemesi hukukuna, daha sonra ise onemli mukayeseli hukuk orneklerine yer verilmistir. Bu ugurda, molekuler genetik inceleme yontemine iliskin yasal duzenlemeler, bu duzenlemelerde ongorulen koruma mekanizmalari ve uygulamaya yansiyan durumlar uzerinde durulduktan sonra, yargi kararlarinda ele alinan hususlara da deginilmistir.
