The NSS Exhibition Committee, along with the Fantasy Fountain Fund, a non-profit organization that provides scholarships and educational opportunities to young artists, organized the “Young Artists” exhibition as a showcase for emerging figurative sculptors. Elected and Fellow members of NSS were asked to recommend artists they may have taught, mentored, or worked with in some capacity in studios or foundries. Ultimately, 19 artists were selected for the show held at the NSS Gallery in midtown Manhattan from January 17 to March 4. Prizes were awarded to four sculptors in the show through the generosity of the Fantasy Fountain Fund and NSS President Michel Langlais.","PeriodicalId":40083,"journal":{"name":"SCULPTURE REVIEW","volume":"71 1","pages":"26 - 33"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"47411853","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":4,"RegionCategory":"艺术学","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
