The Awards Committee met during the year to form a list of possible qualified recipients, drawn from our own survey and also selected from the recommendations from members of the NSS and the arts community. In selecting the finalists, the committee researched a broad group of professionals and vetted the sources and materials to secure a final list of recipients, which they submitted to the NSS Board at their January meeting. The award recommendations were approved unanimously.
