The pathophysiology of DM occurs due to an imbalance in glucose transport to cells, insulin resistance, and impaired insulin production mechanisms in pancreatic beta cells. Long-term use of oral antidiabetic drugs can cause various side effects. Therefore, alternative products are needed that can control blood sugar levels. Previous studies reported that mangosteen rind ( Garcinia mangostana L.) and aloe vera ( Aloe vera L.) have antihyperglycemic activity. This study aims to formulate pudding from mangosteen peel and aloe vera as nutraceutical food ingredients to help control blood sugar levels. The extract was prepared using the maseration method, and then each compound was tested through the xanthone test, acemannan test, and phytosterol test. Results showed that mangosteen peel contains xanthones which have antidiabetic therapeutic effects, and aloe vera contains polysaccharides and phytosterols. In the process of making pudding, stevia was used as a natural sweetener that is safe for DM patients which has an antihyperglycemic effect. It can be concluded that Delight Diabeto as a nutraceutical food pudding can be recommended for controlling blood sugar in diabetic patients. These bacteria can cause opportunistic infections, which attack vulnerable people or poor immunity, such as Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS) sufferers, drug abusers, neonates, and hospital patients who are treated for a long time. Staphylococcus epidermidis can occupy the surface of the body and medical devices, which causes nosocomial infections, by forming highly resistant biofilms. Kaffir lime leaves ( Citrus hystrix D.C .) is a commodity that is often found in Indonesia, which has antibacterial activity and has economic value and is easy to get. The goal of this study is to prove the effectiveness of kaffir lime leaves essential oils in inhibiting and killing the growth of Staphylococcus epidermidis in vitro. The research used the tube dilution method which consist of 12 treatments with 0.24%; 0.22%; 0.20%; 0.18%; 0.16%; 0.14%; 0.12%; 0.10%; 0.08%; 0.06%, 0.04%; and 0% as a negative control of essential oil concentration. The results of this study found that at concentrations of 0,18% and 0,20% of kaffir lime leaves essential oils can inhibit and kill the growth of Staphylococcus epidermidis bacteria (ANOVA p = 0.000 < 0.05; Pearson correlation test = -0.701).
