It is the third largest producing oilseed in the world, after soybean and rapeseed. More than half of world cultivated surface is concentrated primarily in Ukraine and Russia. Many diseases, biotic and abiotic can attack this crop, some causing significant economic damage. This paper proposes a deep learning approach to sunflower disease identification. There are detected 4 foliar diseases, caused by multiple pathogens, with different manifestations, which often cause misidentification. ResNet152 was selected as Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) and options are explored to increase performance metrics by processing and improving the available dataset, by tuning network hyperparameters such as number of epochs and batch size, but also by understanding the plant pathology, disease manifestation and explaining why the model fails on specific images.","PeriodicalId":399710,"journal":{"name":"2021 23rd International Conference on Control Systems and Computer Science (CSCS)","volume":"196 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134536544","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This is based on the attempt to address and further develop the CPS concepts in the transportation domain, towards a future smart mobility (SM) environment where T-CPS takes into account technologies able to exploit advanced capabilities at both vehicle level and the smart infrastructure. Proposed contributions were assigned on the vehicle level. Autonomous vehicles based on an advanced driver model, able to face all challenges from the current traffic: urban traffic rules, lane changing needs, congestion, passenger comfort. We introduce a new model and characterize this with respect to current expectations. Nowadays, the IoT-based healthcare monitoring systems for the elderly require large amounts of data that needs to be transferred to a centralized database and from the database to cloud data centers, which leads to a decrease in the performance of such systems. Thus, fog computing provides innovative solutions by bringing resources closer to the user and by providing low latency and efficient solutions for data processing as against to cloud. In this paper, we present the “Non-invasive monitoring and health assessment of the elderly in a smart environment (RO-SmartAgeing)” project which supports elderly centered healthcare services in order to ensure illness prevention, personalized assistance and monitoring healthcare services. According to the current development state of the project, we propose a functional framework of the architecture of RO-SmartAgeing system based on IoT, Fog and Cloud Computing, present the hardware components of the system necessary for proper operation, the data flow chart of the RO-SmartAgeing system and an example of numerical validation and filtering of data from IoT devices.","PeriodicalId":399710,"journal":{"name":"2021 23rd International Conference on Control Systems and Computer Science (CSCS)","volume":"15 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114588781","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This condition is formulated in general terms of matrix-measure inequalities that are correlated with the properties of the switching signals. We show that our result is able to incorporate, as particular cases, several approaches separately reported by the literature of the previous years. The mode-independent average dwell-time (ADT) can also be addressed as a context derived from our main result. A numerical example illustrates the theoretical development proposed in the first part, including some studies on stability analysis for MDADT and ADT, respectively.","PeriodicalId":399710,"journal":{"name":"2021 23rd International Conference on Control Systems and Computer Science (CSCS)","volume":"608 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116177723","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The system is reactive, adapting the exam to the student's level using genetic algorithms to generate exam questions, but it is also gamified using behavioral psychology to encourage students to get better results in exam. The reward model behind the generation of the exam is based on the behavioral psychology used in modern video games for a greater involvement of the student.","PeriodicalId":399710,"journal":{"name":"2021 23rd International Conference on Control Systems and Computer Science (CSCS)","volume":"8 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123473420","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This crisis has highlighted two important aspects: 1) the healthcare systems are not designed to deal with such a major health challenge and 2) the older people represent the social categories most exposed to this virus. In this pandemic context, the current need for additional resources in the field of healthcare overlapped a pre-existing challenge of healthcare systems, manifested as a permanent increase in the incidence of chronic diseases related to lifestyle changes and ageing population. This situation proved both the current vulnerabilities and the need for new capabilities. In this respect, the required services are based on smart technology, available nearby or at home, which can provide a continuous self and autonomous care. Consequently, the challenge is to develop these technologies, integrating them in a reliable care product, in order to facilitate the shifting from overloaded hospitals to outpatient settings. Therefore, the pandemic impact can be mitigated by a new model of user centred medical ecosystem focused on the need for protection, prevention and assisting home care of the older people by integrating new digital technologies (e.g., artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), big data, cloud computing or blockchain). For this purpose, a simplified approach of a proposed future ecosystem of digital services is described below, representing a potential elderly-centred digital solution that can lead in any other future pandemic context to better preventive measures for the community, earlier diagnosis and faster treatment resolution for the patient.","PeriodicalId":399710,"journal":{"name":"2021 23rd International Conference on Control Systems and Computer Science (CSCS)","volume":"52 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125062593","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A CPS can realize data transmission and cooperation with remote systems and IoT networks. Within smart factories, having the ability of involving business scenarios, CPS autonomously exchange data, control and monitor processes, perform actions in the Industry 4.0 context. Correlated with CPS interoperability capabilities, a new paradigm in manufacturing appeared, based on collaborative, service-oriented, customer-centric industries. Various new business models involve a large, exponentially growing number, of interconnected devices. In this paper is presented a CPS services framework, which integrates an e-business service group within a collaborative infrastructure, thus offering to the users the possibility to valorify on the market, through services integration and collaboration, the remarkable technical advantages of CPS. As e-business example, an e-payment service, developed in a Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), is considered. The data transactions are realized on mobile and wireless communication channels, through Soap and Rest Web services, which are accessed by mobile client software application, installed on Android OS Smartphones.","PeriodicalId":399710,"journal":{"name":"2021 23rd International Conference on Control Systems and Computer Science (CSCS)","volume":"69 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132476065","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
