One of the most significant strategies in this pandemic is to keep a safe distance among the persons in public areas. This paper aims to detect persons with social distance monitoring as a preventive technique in minimizing physical connection between persons. The workflow of this paper is to detect the people in the area of interest using the YOLOv5 model. The model is trained on the Open Images V6 dataset and takes categories of people and human faces. Further, a social distancing algorithm is applied to check the distance between two persons and mark the red boundary box if any person violates the rules. The network provides inference speed capable of offering real-time results with maximum accuracy. The accuracy is achieved 99% in real-time scenarios using the proposed work. In various contexts, the suggested social distancing strategy produces promising outcomes.","PeriodicalId":398594,"journal":{"name":"2022 IEEE 11th International Conference on Communication Systems and Network Technologies (CSNT)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-04-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129977500","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The IoT devices have diversified communication channels which makes them suitable for NOMA transmission. Wireless energy harvesting and cooperative communication is employed at the devices to compensate for the energy constrained nature of the IoT. The performance analysis of the cooperative NOMA network with energy harvesting is carried out in HCN comprising of macro cells (MC) and small cells. The distribution macro cells, small cells and the IoT devices follow independent Poisson point process model. Unlike previous approaches, the proposed research applies EH employing interference from small and macro cell tiers rather than just the superimposed signal for EH. A expressions of outage probability and system throughput are derived for the proposed NOMA transmission and comparison are drawn with the benchmark single cell systems and the systems that utilizes EH with the superimposed signal only.","PeriodicalId":398594,"journal":{"name":"2022 IEEE 11th International Conference on Communication Systems and Network Technologies (CSNT)","volume":"47 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-04-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124864176","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Nevertheless, IoT devices have constrained resources. Therefore, acquisition of efficient, secure and private data is very challenging. The current research on applying architecture of Named Data Networking (NDN) to IoT design reveals very promising results. Therefore, we are motivated to combine NDN and IoT, which we call NDN-IoT architecture, for a healthcare application. Inspired by the idea, we propose a healthcare monitoring groundwork integrating NDN concepts into IoT in Contiki NG OS at the network layer that we call μNDN as it is a micro and light-weight implementation. We quantitatively explore the usage of the NDN-IoT approach to understand its efficiency for medical data retrieval. Reliability and delay performances were evaluated and analyzed for a remote health application. Our results, in this study, show that the μNDN architecture performs better than IP architecture when retrieving medical data. Thus, it is worth exploring the μNDN architecture further.","PeriodicalId":398594,"journal":{"name":"2022 IEEE 11th International Conference on Communication Systems and Network Technologies (CSNT)","volume":"13 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-04-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126262502","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The approach of device-to-device communication increases the utilization of frequency in a single cell. The uses of device-to-device communication decrease latency and increase cell coverage in cellular networks. The use of the same frequency of cellular and device-to-device users creates interference and declines the quality of service and throughput of networks. The optimization of resource allocation reduces the interference in cellular users and device to device users in the same cell. This paper proposed an improved genetic algorithm for resource allocation in device-to-device communication. The proposed algorithm reduces the interference in the mode of D2D communication. The reduced interference increases the spectral efficiency and coverage of cellular networks. The proposed algorithm has been simulated in MATLAB environments and tested with standard parameters. The obtained results suggest that the improved genetic algorithm enhances the communication system’s spectral efficiency instead of existing algorithms.","PeriodicalId":398594,"journal":{"name":"2022 IEEE 11th International Conference on Communication Systems and Network Technologies (CSNT)","volume":"9 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-04-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126419914","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Firstly, with the use of state space depiction we formulated a deterministic model of RC LPF circuit. The deterministic model is then transformed into the stochastic model by introducing noise to circuit components and input source. Finally, the MHE method and UKF method have been simulated to obtain the optimal state estimate when the circuit elements are affected by the Gaussian noise process. The derived mathematical expressions, so obtained, are simulated in MATLAB software. Then the comparison is shown between the estimated output values and PSPICE simulated values (actual output values) and digression of estimated output is expressed in the context of root mean square error (RMSE) to represent a loss function. The RMSE values validates the efficacy of proposed method with respect to the latter method.","PeriodicalId":398594,"journal":{"name":"2022 IEEE 11th International Conference on Communication Systems and Network Technologies (CSNT)","volume":"36 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-04-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131244529","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Prior research shows that the performance of an index deeply affects the retrieval results. However, the current practice of indexing in search engine is to recreate whenever any update of the dataset occurs in the repository. This practice can lead to performance efficiencies. To address this problem, we propose an approach based on an inverted index in this paper. We investigate various indexing approaches on the performance of the search engine. Experimentally analyze search engine performance improvement and efficiency by the creating Index. Compared with the traditional search engine architecture, the proposed scheme is containing various indexing modules for fitting the frequent update problem of index. The proposed approach will be compared with the conventional indexing approaches used in search engines and show that the proposed approach performs better than the traditional indexing schemes.","PeriodicalId":398594,"journal":{"name":"2022 IEEE 11th International Conference on Communication Systems and Network Technologies (CSNT)","volume":"45 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-04-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125350757","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

For maintaining a healthy life normal blood pressure is essential, and a continuous change can cause serious problems related to health such as hypertension, deadly cardio-vascular disorders and kidney failure. Hypertension is one of the leading causes of death in the globe. For the early diagnosis and prevention of fatal occurrences, an effective unobstructed technique is required for BP monitoring on continuous basis. Here, we present a new categorization approach for BP based on PPG signal and CNN-LSTM model. Classification is performed on different levels between Normotension (NT) and Prehypertension (PHT) and between Normotension (NT) and Hypertension (HT).
