This study uses a model developed by Pulic-Value Added Intellectual Coefficients (VAICTM). VAICTM is used to determine the efficiency of three intellectual capital models, namely capital employed, human capital and structural capital. In this context, Firer said the components used were VACA, VAHU and STVA as separate units. This study is to see the effect of VACA, VAHU and STVA on financial performance (ROA). The sample used in this study were 12 manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during 2020 to 2022 and were taken by purposive sampling method. This research uses multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this study partially prove that VACA has a negative and significant effect on ROA, VAHU has a positive but not significant effect on ROA, STVA has a positive but not significant effect on ROA. This study also proves simultaneously that VACA, VAHU and STVA have a significant effect on ROA.","PeriodicalId":398248,"journal":{"name":"Indonesian Journal Economic Review (IJER)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-10-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131016553","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

With the motivation of employees, employees are expected to be able to work productively, thus providing benefits to the company. The purpose of this study was to determine the magnitude of the influence of leadership style on employee motivation. The employees involved as respondents in this study were 30 respondents, who were employees of PT. POS INDONESIA (Persero) Banda Aceh. Primary data was obtained using a closed questionnaire based on a Likert scale with five ranges. To process the data that has been collected, multiple linear regression analysis (Multiple Regression) is used with the formula Y = a + b1 X1 + b2 X2 + b3 X3 + e. The results showed that leadership style has a significant influence on employee motivation. This is indicated by the f-count of 6.88847 and the f-table of 2.92. Judging from the magnitude of the correlation coefficient (R) is 0.66546 and the magnitude of the multiple determinant coefficient (R2) is 0.44284. This shows that with the correlation (R), it means that the leadership style variable (Autocratic, Participatory, and Liberal) has a direct relationship with employee work motivation while the R2 value means that the influence of leadership style on employee work motivation can only be explained by 44.284% and the rest still influenced by other factors not examined in this study.","PeriodicalId":398248,"journal":{"name":"Indonesian Journal Economic Review (IJER)","volume":"105 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-10-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134150290","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

As for the problem of this research is whether the influence of availability, product quality, promotion, and price affect the consumer satisfaction of Asus Laptop users in Banda Aceh City. The purpose of this study was to analyze the influence of each variable, namely availability (XI), product quality (X2), promotion (X3), and price (X4) on consumer satisfaction (Y). The sample in this study were Asus laptop users with 100 respondents as respondents. The sampling technique used a non-probability sampling approach with the convenience sampling method. The method of data collection is done by distributing questionnaires to the respondents. From the results of the research, it is known that the price variable (X4) has the smallest coefficient value, while the promotion coefficient value (X3) has the highest coefficient value, followed by product quality (X2) and availability (X 1). The timing and the global environment (China) from which COVID-19 originated from has made its spread faster than expected because China had 739 international air travel routes and 51 million people used to travel between China and other countries before the disease outbreak. Therefore, there is a need to investigate the impacts and the mortality rate of this deadly disease in order to consider its insurability. The specific objective of this research is to analytically examine factors affecting the insurability of pandemic risks in the Nigerian insurance business within the specified time frame. Different methods/strategies of investigations were conceived to gather data/materials related to the study in order to have comprehensive knowledge of the subject matter. The two statistical tools used are descriptive and inferential. Kaplan Meier Model was used to carry out the hazard estimate based on the computation arrived at using the Microsoft Excel package. This study analyzed 167 467 cases reported/observed within seventeen (17) months in Nigeria (Feb 2020-June 2021). The geographical location of this research is global. It is not limited to Nigeria alone but special attention was paid to cases in Nigeria to consider the insurability of pandemic risks by the Nigerian insurers. 0.5 connotes equal chance of death and survival. As the value moves closer to 1 from 0.5, the probability risk of death is becoming more certain and vice versa. It is clear from the analysis that as months passed by, the estimated figures began to increase showing that more deaths were being recorded. The lockdown and other safety measures adopted to fight COVID-19 disrupted economic recovery, affected financial markets/services, and in turn increased insurance claims. The pandemic impacts on the global insurance markets have been largely affected as a result of weaker premium growth prospects, capital market volatility, asset risks, and so on. In times of crisis, losses come as well as opportunities. This study suggested how identified negative impacts of COVID-19 could be minimized while strategizing to maximize the opportunities therein. It also showed analytically how high mortality risk poses threat to the insurability of pandemic risks.","PeriodicalId":398248,"journal":{"name":"Indonesian Journal Economic Review (IJER)","volume":"81 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-04-12","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122088501","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The study found that emotional intelligence and commitment have a positive effect on the performance of PT Angkasa Pura II employees at Sultan Iskandar Muda Airport, Aceh Besar. Among the two variables, the commitment variable has a very dominant influence on performance when compared to emotional intelligence. The results of statistical tests show that the calculated F value > F table and the t arithmetic value of each variable is also greater than the t table value, it can be interpreted either simultaneously or partially the two variables (emotional intelligence and commitment) have a significant (significant) effect on employee performance of PT Angkasa Pura II Sultan Iskandar Muda Airport, Aceh Besar.
