The primary focus is on Genetic Algorithm (GA), Differential Evolution (DE), Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO), Bacterial Foraging Optimization (BFO). New algorithms recently been introduced also are analyzed, such as: Firefly algorithm (FA), Cuckoo Search (CS), Bat algorithm (BA), Social Spider Optimization (SSO) and Spider Monkey Optimization (SMO). Of each algorithm, a summary of significant examples and a flowchart for a quick and easy interpretation are presented. En el presente trabajo se implementó una técnica de reconstrucción del espectro digital a partir de un conjunto de datos adquiridos a diferentes tasas de muestreo, la cual se utilizó en conjunto con el algoritmo de procesamiento adaptivo basado en modelo gaussiano (GMAP) para determinar los momentos espectrales de las reflexiones producidas por fenómenos atmosféricos. Se implementaron ambos métodos y se evaluó su desempeño conjunto mediante simulaciones numéricas. En particular se consideraron dos tasas de muestreo diferentes y como medida de desempeño se utilizó la media y la desviación estándar de los momentos estimados. The proposed method is based on an Artificial Neuronal Network (ANN) which is trained with a data-set filtered by the environmental variables that characterize the mentioned phenomena. A previously calculated ideal solar irradiation curve is modified from the forecasts generated by the ANN. This is a blended method between statistical learning methods and Numerical Weather Predictions methods (NWP) typically used to improve upon the raw forecast of a NWP model. A reduction of the uncertainty on the planning of photovoltaic plants dispatch in the province of San Juan while the meteorological phenomena take place, can be achieved with the results of this forecasting method.Este artículo presenta un método híbrido para predecir una curva de radiación solar para el día siguiente, considerando la ocurrencia de fenómenos meteorológicos extremos (vientos Zonda, Norte y Sur) presentes en la provincia de San Juan -Argentina. El método propuesto se basa en el cálculo preliminar de una curva de radiación solar considerando cielo despejado, la que se obtiene a través de un método físico de predicción del clima (NWP). Posteriormente, la curva preliminar se modifica a partir de los pronósticos generados por una Red Neuronal Artificial (ANN) que está entrenada con un conjunto de datos filtrados por las variables ambientales que caracterizan los fenómenos mencionados. Con los resultados de este trabajo se puede lograr una reducción en la incertidumbre de pronóstico de la radiación solar para el día siguiente. Essentially we follow the methodology given by: (i) we propose the Volterra formalism, (ii) we test the most suitable probability distribution, and (iii) we adjudicate a physical meaning to the resulting output. For this end we establish that the input function is related to distances to be in risk by flooding in urban areas. Our proposal of perceiving a Volterra-based probability theory is founded on the basis that the input probability distribution functions are convoluted together to their Volterra kernel that in this analysis are denoted by orthogonal polynomials. We apply this formalism to assess risk in Urban areas located along the far north cities in Perú. Our approach has turned out to be validated as to identify those zones of risk inside the main urban zone of the Tumbes city. In developing countries, it is common employing persons with disabilities only with the aim of complying the state regulations. These persons commonly perform tasks for which they are overqualified. For these reasons, in this paper, we present a prototype of an expert system to support the provisioning of staff with disabilities. Our proposal considers the following elements to provide support in decision making: a set of the most common positions in the industry, the skills required to cover these positions, the disabilities with higher prevalence, and the complex relations among these elements. En este trabajo se presenta el diseño y desarrollo de un sistema optoelectrónico denominado scanning-DOAS, que permite monitorear desde una distancia segura la emisión de dióxido de azufre (SO2) de origen volcánico. El instrumento realiza un barrido o escaneo de la pluma, midiendo la radiación solar difusa UV que llega al detector. A partir de dichos espectros solares se determina la concentración de SO2 en la sección transversal de la pluma, aplicando la técnica DOAS (Differential Optical Absorption Spectroscopy). Si se cuenta con información de la altura y velocidad de desplazamiento de la pluma, es posible determinar el flujo de SO2. Existen evidencias que indican que un aumento en los flujos de SO2 podría estar asociado a un incremento de la actividad volcánica, de ahí la importancia de realizar un monitoreo sistemático. En el trabajo se destacan las características constructivas del sistema y se describe la técnica utilizada para la obtención de los datos mencionados. El diseño del sistema incorpora mejoras sustanciales basadas en los resultados obtenidos empleando un primer prototipo, durante la campaña de monitoreo realizada en el complejo volcánico Planchón-Peteroa, Malargüe, provincia de Mendoza, en enero de 2017. La variabilidad del flujo de SO2 observada durante dichas mediciones se encuentra en el orden de magnitud de lo esperado y presenta una muy buena correlación con la información brindada por el Observatorio Vulcanológico de los Andes del Sur (OVDAS), Servicio Nacional de Geología y Minería de Chile (SERNAGEOMIN), en sus Reportes de Actividad Volcánica. Sumado a esta problemática, aparece como una nueva amenaza el cambio climático global, el cual se manifiesta causando severas sequías o extraordinarias inundaciones en diferentes regiones del planeta. En este marco, la gestión del recurso hídrico y el monitoreo satelital representan un punto central en las políticas públicas, ya que permiten anticiparse y adaptarse a estas perturbaciones. En este trabajo se utiliza información satelital para realizar un análisis de la evolución anual de la calidad de agua del embalse San Roque, Córdoba, y su relación con la ocurrencia de incendios, precipitaciones y crecimiento urbano para el período 2001-2016. La calidad de agua se evalúa a partir de una serie temporal de clorofila-a generada con datos MODIS-TERRA y validada previamente para el cuerpo de agua en estudio. El área construida y quemada se calcula a partir de la clasificación de imágenes LANDSAT-TM/ETM+/OLI para la cuenca. La precipitación acumulada se obtiene a partir de los productos de la misión TRMM de la NASA. Se analiza también la variable temperatura en el agua del embalse, obtenida a partir de datos MODIS-TERRA. The data is read and processed in real-time using a Raspberry Pi 3 computer. The amount of charge and geometrical characteristics of the cluster of pixels exited when a particle interacts with the sensor is recorded and used to identify the type of incoming particle, distinguishing between alpha particles and X-ray or gamma photons. The software was programmed in C using the OpenCV library.
