Several constraints affect this process: the quantity of data to be hidden, the need for invariance of these data under the conditions where a host signal is subject to distortions such as lossy compression and the degree to which the data must be immune to interception, modification or removal by a third party. A novel technique is proposed in this paper for data embedding and extraction for high resolution AVI (Audio Video Interleave) videos. It employs a method to embed the secret data in the cover video in two phases. In the first phase a new embedding method is used for self generating key which depends on the data to be embedded and the cover. In the second phase, the encrypted image is embedded in a video in spatial and transform domains.","PeriodicalId":394515,"journal":{"name":"2011 IEEE Recent Advances in Intelligent Computational Systems","volume":"78 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2011-11-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131910021","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

We can select your data base and application as per your requirements. The on-demand computing capabilities of a cloud can be more flexible and more cost-effective. In this paper I have put some concept about how I will minimize the rising IT cost with cloud solution. An architectural framework, named the Video-on demand as a Service, data service and voice service is also proposed. But several application management challenges aren't so easily explained. This paper describes OPNET MODELER best practices approach to a performance Comparison with cost (PCWC) for QoS Application in On-Demand Cloud Computing. The active contour or snake model is one of the most successful variational models in image segmentation. It has been widely used to locate boundaries of image segmentation and computer vision. Problem associated with the existence of the local minima in the active contour energy function makes snakes have poor convergence in segmentation process; therefore, the poor convergence has limited applications. In this work, a fast minimization of snake model is used for satellite and medical image segmentation on noisy images with ten percentage of Noisy was added. This method provides a satisfied result. As a result, it is a good candidate for medical image segmentation approach. Experiments on satellite images with noise demonstrate the advantages of the proposed method over the Chan-Vase (CV) active contour in terms of the number of Iterations and time complexity are less because it uses isotropic schemes to regularize the contour and is sub-pixel precise. Finally, the Memory requirement is low.","PeriodicalId":394515,"journal":{"name":"2011 IEEE Recent Advances in Intelligent Computational Systems","volume":"44 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2011-11-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116368248","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this paper, the design and functionality of a novel ultra low power stable SRAM cell is discussed which addresses power minimization as well as stability against large variation in temperature which is ideally suited for space applications. This paper explores a novel circuit level approach to reduce power in the SRAM cell during active mode of operation as well as standby mode by incorporating NMOS-PMOS pair in each pull down path. During active mode power reduction takes place by increasing the impedance of the ground path and thus reducing the current. In the idle mode, the state of the SRAM cell is retained to a good logic-1(0) value and sub threshold leakage is reduced by utilizing stack effect. It is found that this cell operating at a supply voltage value of 0.5V, using 50nm BSIM models resulted in about 19X power savings in active mode and 21X times in stand-by state-retention mode. Better stability is also reported with large variations in temperature when compared to the standard 6-T SRAM cell and other representative low leakage power SRAM cells due to self controlling feedback. The NMOS- PMOS pair provides the compensation against the linear dependence of current on temperature. This novel cell achieves excellent active mode power minimization (which is usually not addressed in SRAM designs which achieve standby mode power minimization) along with good leakage power reduction.","PeriodicalId":394515,"journal":{"name":"2011 IEEE Recent Advances in Intelligent Computational Systems","volume":"29 3","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2011-11-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114106564","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Compared to LEM1[5], LEM2[5], the new algorithm, ELEM, is faster as it requires fewer operations in its rule generation process. The results obtained have demonstrated the strong performance of the algorithm. The numerical experimental results demonstrate that the method of rule induction proposed in this paper is feasible. The key idea of this paper is that we compare the performance of LEM1 and ELEM for classification on landslide data sets and show the difference in computation speed and accuracy. And the results obtained are tested using artificial intelligence system. In this paper, we focus on basic concepts and an implementation of our methodology and the comparative results. From the results it is clearly found that ELEM algorithms can also be used incremental and in knowledge-based search process.","PeriodicalId":394515,"journal":{"name":"2011 IEEE Recent Advances in Intelligent Computational Systems","volume":"7 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2011-11-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125388332","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

While the adoption of these techniques is becoming prevalent, there continue to be challenges in making BIST solutions comprehensive to meet several design and application constraints. This paper describes the use of BIST implementations for self-test of a communication system, to support field testability. Moreover many software based commercial and governmental systems require very high mission reliability. To meet this, both the hardware as well as the software has to be extremely reliable. Software reliability is known to improve with the amount of testing efforts invested, which in turn leverages the cost of software development and in turn system cost. Constructing systems employing redundant inferior units that are relatively cheap is a well known alternative. Using the N-version programming paradigm, the same can be applied to software, but the cost factor becomes a major issue. The degree of redundancy employed affects reliability favorably, while increasing the cost of software design and development. In this paper, an approach to enumerate the optimal redundancy for software systems has been explored and a binary integer programming solution for the same has been presented. The methodology has been applied to the case study of a computer relay software that is employed for fault handling in power system transmission lines.","PeriodicalId":394515,"journal":{"name":"2011 IEEE Recent Advances in Intelligent Computational Systems","volume":"8 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2011-11-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126311955","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Ever since the invention of pulse oximetry, reliable and accurate estimation of arterial blood oxygen saturation (SpO2) has been a challenging problem for researchers. Mostly inaccurate estimation of SpO2 in a pulse oximeter arises due to the motion artifacts (MA) created in the detected PPG signals by the voluntary or involuntary movements of a patient. We present an MA reduction method based on Multi Scale Principal Component Analysis (MSPCA) technique. MSPCA combines the ability of PCA to decorrelate the variable with wavelet analysis for MA reduction from recorded PPG data. MSPCA computes PCA of wavelet coefficients at each scale followed by combining the results at relevant scales. Experimental result revealed that MSPCA outperformed the basic wavelet based processing for MA reduction of PPG signals and is best suited for pulse oximetry applications.","PeriodicalId":394515,"journal":{"name":"2011 IEEE Recent Advances in Intelligent Computational Systems","volume":"32 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2011-11-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126555739","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
