Despite this, the macroalgal diversity of the Mediterranean Sea is still not fully known, especially in the Mediterranean Marine Protected Areas (MPAs) including, Al-Hoceima National Park of Morocco (PNAH). This paper provides the first comprehensive checklist of the seaweeds of PNAH, based chiefly on our own original collections, and complimented by literature records. Using present-day taxonomy, the total number of taxa at both specific and infraspecific levels currently accepted   is 306 taxa with 207 Rhodophyta (39 families), 51 Ochrophyta (13 families) and 48 Chlorophyta (12 families). Ninety five of these species were not found in our samples, 93 were new to the PNAH, and the taxonomic identity of 26 taxa was amended. From the totality of taxa, ten species were reported for the first time from Morocco: 9 Rhodophyta and one green alga. Furthermore, 12 others species (10 red, 1 brown and 1 green alga) are new records for the Mediterranean coast of Morocco. Besides this, confirmed records are mentioned for 20 species, whether in Africa, in Morocco or in the Moroccan Mediterranean coast. This accessible checklist to the international community could serve as an infrastructure for future algal investigations of the taxa in this Specially Protected Area of Mediterranean Importance. Key words: Al-Hoceima National Park, Checklist, Mediterranean Marine Protected Areas, Morocco, Seaweeds. Resumen Lista de algas marinas del Parque Nacional de Alhucemas en Marruecos (Área Marina Protegida del Mediterráneo) La cuenca del Mediterráneo es un Hot Spot de biodiversidad marina. Aún así, la diversidad de macroalgas del Mediterráneo no está plenamente conocida, especialmente en las Áreas Marinas Protegidas del Mediterráneo (AMP) incluido el Parque Nacional de Alhucemas en Marruecos (PNAH). Este documento proporciona la primera lista exhaustiva de las algas marinas del PNAH. Usando la taxonomía actual, el número total de taxones a niveles específicos y infraespecíficos actualmente aceptados es de 306 taxones con 207 Rhodophyta (39 familias), 51 Ochrophyta (13 familias) y 48 Chlorophyta (12 familias). Noventa y cinco de estas especies no se encontraron en nuestras muestras, 93 eran nuevas en el PNAH y se modificó la identidad taxonómica de 26 taxones. {"title":"Etude de l’habitat écologique d’une espèce rare (Prunus avium) au nord-ouest de la Tunisie","authors":"J. Nouri, H. Brahim","doi":"10.24310/ABM.V43I0.4152","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.24310/ABM.V43I0.4152","url":null,"abstract":"AbstractPrunus avium is a component of the biodiversity in the forest ecosystems: its fruits are consumed by a large number of birds, its quality of the wood and its premature blooming confer it a big esthetic value. Multipurpose tree, it is present in the forest of Kroumirie in the Northwest of Tunisia. In this region, Prunus avium is a species exploited as a stock for cherry trees and ash wood for the cabinetmaking by the local populations. The natural populating, in constant decrease since a few decades, is threatened by diverse anthropogenic, getting more and more stronger pressures, reducing the capacities of natural regeneration of the species. The study of the ecological housing environment is essential to have a good knowledge of the ecology of such species to determine the conditions in which it develops and to set up appropriate rules of management. Indeed, Prunus avium prefers the lemon-clayey grounds, rich in nitrogen and with a relationship C/N lower than 10. The grounds which it prefers are of acid PH (4.3-6.7). According to the obtained results, such species resists well enough in lower temperatures (T min = 3°C) and is very sensitive to the summer drought (T max = 24°C). At the level of Kroumirie, the presence of Prunus avium is rare below 150 m of height, while it is regularly found in cliff- nesting situation, between 180 and 620 m, with a maximum near 550 m. The obtained results show that such species has an affinity for the lower slopes (0- 10 %). Our results allow formulating relative recommendations on the valuation of Prunus avium: practise plantations of this species at the level of the most preferable stations for the production of the wood and the stock for the culture of the cherry tree in the Northwest of Tunisia. Keywords: Tunisia, Prunus avium, central housing environment, marginal housing environment, environmental factors. RésuméPrunus avium est une composante de la biodiversité dans les écosystèmes forestiers: ses fruits sont consommés par de nombreux oiseaux, sa qualité du bois et sa floraison précoce lui confèrent une grande valeur esthétique. Arbre à usages multiples, il est présent dans la forêt de la Kroumirie au nord-ouest de la Tunisie. Dans cette région, Prunus avium est une espèce exploitée comme porte-greffe pour le cerisier et comme bois pour l’ébénisterie par les populations locales. Les peuplements naturels, en constante diminution depuis quelques dizaines d’années, sont menacés par diverses pressions anthropiques, de plus en plus fortes, réduisant les capacités de régénération naturelle de l’espèce. L’étude de l’habitat écologique est indispensable pour disposer d’une bonne connaissance de l’autoécologie de cette espèce afin de déterminer les conditions dans lesquelles elle se développe et de mettre en place des règles appropriées de gestion. Les recherches se sont basées essentiellement sur les 124 relevés phytoecologiques réalisés à travers les secteurs O1 et O2 ainsi que certains sorties ciblant les stations de présence des espèces endémiques signalées pour la région d›Oran dans la littérature. Ces recherches de terrain ont conduit à l›identification de 17 taxons endémiques dont certains sont très rares comme Brassic aspinescens et Helianthemum maritimum. D’autres espèces ayant été ciblées par les recherches n’ont pas été retrouvées ce qui renforce l’hypothèse de disparition de certaines d’entre elles. En plus de cette première liste des endémiques réellement observés dans la région depuis l’indépendance du pays, les données sur leurs aspects chorologiques, écologiques et biogéographiques sont exposées et discutés. Mots clés: Endémique, flore, chorologie, conservation, inventaire, Oran, rare. AbstractThis study is a first regional exploration for plants research of the Oran region for a possible evaluation for their conditions of conservation. The research were basically based on 124 phytoecological records carried out across the sectors O1 and O2 as well as some data targeting endemic species presence stations reported for the region of Oran in the literature. This field searches led to the identification of 17 endemic taxa some of which are very rare like Brassica spinescens and Helianthemum maritimum. Other targeted species were not found, which reinforces the hypothesis of the disappearance of some of them. For this, four stations distributed in the South, South-East and North-East of the forest were chosen according to the presence of the geophytes, on which soil samples were analyzed and floristic surveys were carried out. Indeed, the Tulipa sylvestris was located in the southern part (station 3 only), soil results have shown that the species is associated with a sandy loam-sandy texture and a slightly alkaline pH, moderately rich in organic matter with a moderately calcareous soil. The floristic and statistical analysis by the correspondence factorial analysis (CFA) indicates an important richness of the order of 50 taxons subjected a strong therophytisation, an index of high perturbation, justifying thus the rarity and the vulnerability of Tulipa sylvestris L. due mainly to human activity and overgrazing associated with fires.Key words: Tulipa sylvestris L, Bouhriz forest, Algeria, anthropization. RésuméCe travail consiste à évaluer l’habitat naturel et écologique de Tulipa sylvestrisL. espèce menacée et rare, localisée dans la forêt de Bouhriz (région de Sidi Bel Abbes). Pour cela, quatre stations réparties dans la partie Sud, Sud-est et Nord-est de la forêt ont été choisies en fonction de la présence des géophytes, sur lesquels des prélèvements du sol étaient analysés et des relevés floristiques ont été effectués. En effet, Tulipa sylvestris L. est localisée dans la partie Sud (station 3 uniquement), les résultats pédologiques ont montré que l’espèce est liée à une texture limono-sableuse, peut humide et un pH légèrement alcalin, moyennement riche en matière organique avec un sol modérément calcaire. Dans ce travail nous avons dressé une liste des orchidées de la région de Tlemcen grâce à une série de prospection réalisée entre 2006 et 2018 et qui s’est soldée par l’inventaire de 11 genres, comprenant 48 taxons dont 329 espèces et 2 hybrides. Des cartes de répartition et des données écologiques ont été établies pour chaque espèce afin d’aider à les retrouver pour des éventuelles recherches. Certains taxons présentent une large distribution à travers la région de Tlemcen, alors que d’autres sont très localisés. Thirteen stations with different ecological characteristics were prospected; 27 species have been identified (7 of which are exceptionally rare).The inventory of these species constitutes an important stage for the development of the strategies of preservation of the genetic resources and the diversity of ferns and lycophytes on their whole area of natural distribution.
