They have practical applications in geology, agriculture, construction, engineering, process industries, and environment. There are many traditional applications of aluminosilicates. Some of the most important include ceramics, paper, paint, plastics, drilling fluids, foundry bondants, chemical carriers, liquid barriers, decolorization, and catalysis. Our research was focused on radioactive waste disposal from aqueous solutions by using clays (bentonite and palygorskite). Clays are cheap and widely available material, and it is interesting to investigate its characteristic in relation to Cs(I), Th(IV), U(VI) sorption.","PeriodicalId":390767,"journal":{"name":"Molecular and Quantum Acoustics","volume":"29 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2009-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130962188","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The aim of this work was to study how the lanthanum dopant (x) influences on the piezoelectric properties of x/65/35 PLZT ceramics. All samples were sintered by the hot uniaxial pressing method, from the sol-gel derived powders. The measurements enclose the complex of electric parameters, such as: e, tgδ, k p , k 31 , d 31 , S 11 E ; g 31 , V R . The domain structures of unpoled and poled samples were conducted on the FESEM HITACHI S-4700.","PeriodicalId":390767,"journal":{"name":"Molecular and Quantum Acoustics","volume":"22 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2006-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123734263","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Therefore it seems merited to investigate the acoustic climate (i.e. acoustic phenomena caused by the sources of noise of vibrations in the function of time and space) and the working conditions during the operation of Solaris Urbino 18 vehicles, widely used in public transport systems.","PeriodicalId":390767,"journal":{"name":"Molecular and Quantum Acoustics","volume":"81 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134371889","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
