How to improve the supporters' continuous participation intention is the focus of the award-based crowdfunding platform. Therefore, this paper intends to explore the influencing factors of continuous participation willingness. On the one hand, it extracts the influencing factors based on the characteristics of award-based crowdfunding; on the other hand, it introduces user stickiness based on the commonness of award-based crowdfunding and transactional virtual community. Then, on the basis of expectation-confirmation model, we build a research model of willingness to participate in award-based crowdfunding. Based on the data of 380 supporters, the empirical study finds that: (1) Satisfaction, perceived usefulness and stickiness can significantly improve the continuous participation willingness of award-based crowdfunding supporters. (2) Perceived usefulness and Expectation Confirmation can improve supporter satisfaction, while perceived risk can reduce supporter satisfaction. (3) Crowdfunding quality and supporters' trust have a significant positive effect on stickiness, while supporters' identity has no significant effect on stickiness.","PeriodicalId":388509,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 8th International Conference on Management of e-Commerce and e-Government","volume":"135 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-07-04","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133056216","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

We study manufacturer that produce both new energy vehicle (New Energy Vehicle: NEV) and conventional fuel vehicles. Under the dual-credit policy, we construct an optimal production decision model to study the production strategies for manufacturer, considering that the manufacturers' R&D investment can earn new energy credits, and discuss the impact of the dual-credit policy factors on the production strategy. It is found that, the production decisions for manufacturer are consistent with the guidance of the dual-credit policy. The dual-credit policy has promoted the R&D investment of manufacturer and improved the technical level of NEV. With the increase of the sensitivity coefficient of new energy credits to R&D investment, and the increase of the transaction price of credits, and the increase of the negative credits of traditional fuel vehicles, manufacturers' R&D investment increases. Under the dual-credit policy, the price of NEV decreased and the output increased, while the price of traditional fuel vehicles increased, and the output decreased. The dual-credit policy promotes the development of NEV, while restraining the development of traditional fuel vehicles.","PeriodicalId":388509,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 8th International Conference on Management of e-Commerce and e-Government","volume":"19 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-07-04","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116845533","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Among them, automatic driving of automobiles is becoming popular. At present, they all promote safe driving, but there is almost no guarantee of absolute safety. Often in the media and news, accidents occur due to excessive reliance on the automatic driving system in the car in the case of fatigue driving. Therefore, many people still drive by themselves during long-distance trips and returning home for the holidays. At this time, the driver's concentration has been quite tested. This research is mainly based on the lane shift and collision avoidance system built in the cars, together with brain wave detectors and heart rhythm monitoring watches that can receive information via Bluetooth, to obtain the driver's physiological information in real time and return it immediately The car express service platform for ITS system to evaluate the behavior analysis of drivers. When the driver's physical condition is not good, timely warnings and reminders are given to reduce the driving accidents that most drivers force on the road due to ignoring physical fatigue, so as to avoid the occurrence of car accidents..","PeriodicalId":388509,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 8th International Conference on Management of e-Commerce and e-Government","volume":"45 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-07-04","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114286051","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

China has plenty of experience in using E-commerce to sell agricultural products, Tmall is now the biggest e-commerce platform for selling agricultural products in China. To ensure the success of the online business, it is necessary to understand what are the major dimensions that affect online store performance. This study, therefore, builds a 67-item framework to evaluate the performance of 210 agricultural online stores collected from Tmall platform. We used content analysis to code the items and then computed the online store profiles by using the entropy method. The results show that website design significantly affects the performance of online stores. Meanwhile, traditional marketing strategies that have been borrowed in the e-commerce contents still influence consumers’ final decisions. This framework enriches the theory of evaluating online stores performance, and helps to understand the core features that consumers focus on when purchasing agricultural products on line. Our study conclusions can be used to instruct online store owners in improving the quality of online stores and shed some light on the agricultural e-commerce domain.","PeriodicalId":388509,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 8th International Conference on Management of e-Commerce and e-Government","volume":"29 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-07-04","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127795674","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The organizations continue to adapt to the new normal by conducting online events and activities. However, managing events and activities can be challenging, especially without the use of a common platform. The paper proposes an event management system that would ease the transition to the online setting and reduce workload. A web application that focuses on event application, event implementation, and post-activity evaluation would benefit the coordination between the involved parties. The study aims to automate necessary document processes, provide an online platform for student organizations to execute proposals, generate and summarize the entirety of the events and activities. The study will be using a Likert Scale survey questionnaire for the Office of the Students Affairs and Student organizations to measure the usability of the Cardinal Connect Event Management System. The data develop a web-based application that would improve the event management at Mapua University. The researchers will be testing the serviceability of the system by using a Usability Test to test its serviceability. This is because the study requires a specific population of student organizations. The prototype is possible using HTML, CSS, and Javascript for the front-end and PHP, Python, Javascript for the back-end development. Through a prototype, the users can execute design features of the web application and conduct usability testing to improve the overall user experience. The web application aids the needs of the university and how the different organizations would engage students to maximize their university life.","PeriodicalId":388509,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 8th International Conference on Management of e-Commerce and e-Government","volume":"10 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-07-04","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131865423","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Almost 98.5 percent of business establishments in Malaysia are SME companies cut across all sizes and sectors. However, SMEs in Malaysia are unable to access external financing due to excessive, rigid procedures imposed by financial institutions and government agencies. To address and resolve this critical issue, with the advance of technology, entrepreneurs have become more independent and creative in raising capital through a process known as crowdfunding. This study intends to examine the role of Islamic crowdfunding towards SMEs sustainability in order to assist their financing need for business expansion or start-up in Malaysia. Furthermore, this study will empirically test the influence of strategic competitiveness and technology adoption on SMEs' sustainability. Primary data are collected using a self-administered questionnaire from a sample of 259 SMEs in Selangor. The data was computed using SmartPLS-3.2.8 to examine the direct effect on SME's sustainability. The findings show that Islamic crowdfunding, technology adoption and strategic competitiveness influenced the SME's sustainability. Thus, this study disclosed that Islamic crowdfunding would also increase the capacity to boost SMEs' sustainability and development in Malaysia.","PeriodicalId":388509,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 8th International Conference on Management of e-Commerce and e-Government","volume":"2 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-07-04","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121310919","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
