However, the randomness of real-time teaching case resources often affects the smooth development of clinical ultrasound teaching. Based on the picture archiving communication system, the audio-visual images and clinical data of cases were collected and the teaching gallery was established. The gallery can be used for teaching common diseases, rare diseases, new ultrasonic technology and interventional ultrasound to ensure that the teaching content is consistent with the teaching process. It can overcome the uneven distribution of diseases, some patients poor teaching compliance and other practical clinical teaching problems, so as to improve the effect of ultrasonic clinical teaching.","PeriodicalId":388036,"journal":{"name":"Asian Journal of Social Science Studies","volume":"7 6","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-04-08","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140729092","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The research method is participant-observation of practices, discourses, pricing models and customer demographics, backed up by knowledge gained from conversations with hostesses, bar managers, customers and musicians. It explains how surplus-value is extracted in the production process via the high prices of ladies’ drinks, the hard work required because of the quota system (in relation to ladies’ drinks), the high prices of customers’ drinks (to a lesser extent) and long working hours. The article explains how alienation is involved in delivering heavily racialized and gendered services in an atmosphere where commissions and quotas on ladies’ drinks put pressures and constraints on hostess’s behaviour. Unruly and disrespectful customer conduct is another source of alienation, guilt and sadness for hostesses who are under pressure to act and talk in a (hetero)sexualized way.","PeriodicalId":388036,"journal":{"name":"Asian Journal of Social Science Studies","volume":"98 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-08-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134592124","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, the realm of empirical research focused on AI within applied linguistics remains limited, predominantly dwelling on qualitative rhetoric and narrative analysis. This research aims to fill this gap by shedding light on the discursive constructions of AI policies between North America and developing countries in East Asia based on corpus data. Two corpora are constructed for quantitative study, utilizing keywords, collocates, and concordance analysis, and two dimensions of dialectical-relational approach are adopted to delve into the results. The findings reveals that both EA and NA prioritize AI-related efforts, but EA emphasizes more on economic and societal applications, while NA highlights governmental sectors’ efforts, cooperation with allies, and national security in AI deployment. The results are closely associated with their social context. This nuanced understanding of AI policy research holds significant implications for policymakers, stakeholders, and scholars actively involved in shaping responsible AI regulations and governance practices on an international scale.","PeriodicalId":388036,"journal":{"name":"Asian Journal of Social Science Studies","volume":"33 3 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-08-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132317188","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This study examines the effect of enforced hybrid working on employee well-being via markers of stress, workload, loneliness, and detachment. This study also investigates the impact of involuntary hybrid working on the gender division of labour. This study applies qualitative research within a cross-sectional design to identify the well-being outcomes and experiences of male and female employees. The findings of this study reveal that factors such as disruptions in internet connectivity, increased workload, longer working hours with no fixed schedule, and lack of interaction with colleagues and social support negatively affect well-being leading to increased stress while working from home. Family responsibilities including child caring while working from home influence female employees’ well-being. In addition, hybrid working provides advantages of both onsite and homeworking and thus, provides an opportunity to balance work and family life.","PeriodicalId":388036,"journal":{"name":"Asian Journal of Social Science Studies","volume":"110 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-07-07","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132050060","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Throughout history, it has gained a rich symbolic reference. It appears in antiquity as a royal bird and mythological personification of the gods. The Christian world saw in the eagle a symbol of rebirth, as well as Christ himself. The bird was used in Christian art and culture, also in the Greek liturgy as a soteriological, baptismal and eucharistic symbol. Christian writers and theologians pay much attention to it, deriving its symbolism both from the Bible, and medieval bestiaries as well. It appears in the art of painting and sculpture of many epochs, constituting an important ritual, religious and cult element. Up till now, it is an important element of culture - the eagle is the emblem of many modern countries, which often derive their genesis and origin from legends in which this bird appears.","PeriodicalId":388036,"journal":{"name":"Asian Journal of Social Science Studies","volume":"43 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-19","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124106769","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The publication time is selected from 2012 to 2022. A total of 146 effective documents are retrieved for analysis, revealing the current research hotspots and development frontier of marine cities in China. The analysis results show that the development of the research field of marine cities presents three stages: the first stage is from 2012 to 2016, and the publication volume of the documents related to marine cities is relatively flat; the second stage is from 2017 to 2020, showing a trend of steady growth year by year; the third stage is from 2021 to 2022, when the number of marine cities shows a \"blowout\" surge. The authors and institutions of the papers present scattered distribution, and the parts are slightly tight. The research focuses on three aspects: Marine center city, Marine industry and Marine power, and the research context is easily affected by the policy effect, showing a dynamic development trend. At present, academic research on marine cities is relatively scarce. Therefore, this paper gives a further summary and reflection, with a view to providing a reference for further research, exploration and promotion of marine undertakings in China's marine cities.","PeriodicalId":388036,"journal":{"name":"Asian Journal of Social Science Studies","volume":"38 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-19","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122196553","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Numerous studies showed that the FDI significantly impacts economic growth due to the technological transfer and innovative capability that enters the recipient country. On the other hand, some other studies did not find any significant impact of FDI on economic growth. The purpose of this study is to determine whether the FDI or other factors, including human capital, infrastructure, and trade openness, impact the economic growth in Bangladesh. Using an ordinary least square (OLS) regression model, 35-year time series data of the variables were analyzed to investigate the variables that impact economic growth in Bangladesh. The study results depict that FDI has no significant impact on the economy of Bangladesh. In contrast, human capital, infrastructure, and trade openness significantly influence the Bangladesh economy. The study findings are expected to benefit the researchers, government agencies, and the decision-makers of multinational companies.","PeriodicalId":388036,"journal":{"name":"Asian Journal of Social Science Studies","volume":"50 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125932044","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
