The new record, based on two adult females, extends the species distribution 210 km southwest from the type locality. These specimens were found at the Doukkala plain, 14 km southwest of Oualidia, and compared with topotypic specimens. Se presenta una lista taxonómica actualizada y comentada de los insectos asociados a Prosopis pallida (Humb. & Bonpl. ex. Wild.) Kunth de la región Piura al noroeste de Perú, con base en recolectas y revisión de material depositado en colecciones entomológicas. Se adicionan 59 especies y se completa la identificación de 40 géneros y siete morfoespecies citadas anteriormente, quedando la lista final conformada por 189 especies, 175 géneros, 84 familias y 12 órdenes. Los órdenes Coleoptera con 69 especies, Hymenoptera con 36 especies y las familias Coccinellidae y Formicidae con 11 y 10 especies respectivamente son las más diversas, además se confirma a Enallodiplosis discordis Gagné, 1994 atacando árboles de Prosopis pallida en territorio peruano. Del total de especies registradas, 68 son fitófagos, 16 son succionadores de savia, 49 son depredadores, 17 son parasitoides y 18 son polinizadores. It belongs to the subgenus Nebrileistus Banninger, 1925, a Macaronesian endemism with two further species known: Leistus (Nebrileistus). Ellipticus Wollaston, 1854 from Madeira, and L. (Nebrileistus) nubivagus Wollaston, 1864, from Tenerife and Gran Canaria. EnglishThe high species richness of the bat subfamily Phyllostominae is considered indicative of a well-preserved ecosystem; however, is one the less studied groups in Honduras. In this document, we present the first records of Chrotopterus auritus (Peters, 1856) and Tonatia bakeri Williams, Willig & Reid, 1995, and the second of Lophostoma silvicolum d’Orbigny, 1836 for the department of Gracias a Dios, in eastern Honduras. Based on historical reports for these species, these records represent the fifth-known locality for C. Auritus and L. silvicolum, and the second for T. Bakeri in Honduras, representing how poor these species are known in the country. Los resultados mostraron que la causa principal de mortalidad en las zonas de estudio fue la actividad antrópica (43,55 %). La segunda causa más relevante fue el abandono del nido (20,19 %). {"title":"El relicto glacial Leistus (Pogonophorus) puncticeps Fairmaire & Laboulbène, 1854 (Coleoptera, Carabidae): nuevos datos sobre distribución, autoecología y presencia en el Medio Subterráneo Superficial (MSS)","authors":"V. Sendra","doi":"10.3989/graellsia.2020.v76.255","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.3989/graellsia.2020.v76.255","url":null,"abstract":"Over the last three decades, intensive sampling of the MSS in the Iberian Peninsula has revealed new records of Leistus (Pogonophorus) puncticeps Fairmaire & Laboulbene, 1854 in previously unknown areas. These new records extend the species geographic range towards southern Mediterranean localities, showing a discontinuous distribution pattern across the eastern third of the Iberian Peninsula. Also, some slight variability in the shape of the apical lamina of the edeago is revealed. Abrupt landscape, especially in stony slopes, arises as a favorable habitat for the species. In general, the new localities for L. (P.) puncticeps have low and torrential precipitation, an average rainfall of around 600-700 mm, and remarkable thermal amplitude. The species is collected for the first time in the Mesovoid Sallow Substratum (MSS) using subterranean sampling devices (SSD). The presence of this species in this hypogean habitat across several iberian areas (Sierra del Moncayo, mountains of the north of Alicante province and Sierra de Maria) indicates its (sub)troglophile condition. The new records, in addition to previously available data, suggest the same evolutionary history for L. (P.) puncticeps as for Leistus (Pogonophorus) montanus Stephens, 1827 and Leistus (Pogonophorus) parvicollis Chaudoir, 1869, being the three species glacial relicts as a result of vicariant speciation. The environmental changes that occurred during the postglacial time period could explain the discontinuous distribution that L. The parasitoid was detected in July 2016 in three oak open woodlands in Extremadura (SW Spain), located in Almendral (La Jara) and Merida (La Serrana and Cornalvo Natural Park). O. rudnevi para-sitized both the eggs of Cerambyx cerdo Linnaeus, 1758 (its only known host to date) and C. welensii (Kuster, 1845), which constitutes a new host-parasitoid association (C. welensii-O. rudnevi). Parasitism rate was quite variable among sites and dates (range 0–93%), with a higher prevalence in C. cerdo than in C. welensii.
