As a pilot country of blue economy, Bangladesh has taken some programmes, policy and schemes for the development of her blue economy especially after the final maritime dispute settlement against India in 2014, positive verdict awarded by PCA ( Permanent Court of Arbitration ). Bangladesh is still lagged in its blue diplomacy advancement. Though Bangladesh has some international agreements and negotiations with some international maritime and other international organizations as well as academia like UN, FAO, IMO, UNEP, IORA, WMU, WB, ADB etc. But, still there is no mentionable improvements in the development of blue diplomacy of Bangladesh for the sake of a prosperous blue economy in Bangladesh. The research paper has a sincere effort to sketch the scenarios like Bangladesh’s blue diplomatic connectivity, capabilities and challenges. At the same time, the research paper also has a sanguine endeavour to address some insightful recommendations for the overall further and future development of blue economy of Bangladesh through blue diplomacy.","PeriodicalId":386894,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of The 3rd International Conference on Research in Business, Management and Finance","volume":"78 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-07-02","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128599497","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Aquino","doi":"10.33422/3rd.icrbmf.2021.07.08","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.33422/3rd.icrbmf.2021.07.08","url":null,"abstract":"The implementation of knowledge has been considered as a positive and final result of the transfer process. This means that we know little about whether the transferred knowledge was appropriated, absorbed or even used by the receiving firm. Thus, the aim of this research is to take the knowledge internalization as a measure to analyze the effectiveness of the knowledge transfer process. That is, if, in fact, the transferred knowledge is internalized in the organizational routines and understands the role of absorptive and disseminative capacity in the process. To this end, a longitudinal case study of a qualitative nature was conducted, involving data and information collection over nine years (2008–2016), 13 interviews taking as a case one of the most important public health, science and technology institutions in Brazil. The findings show that a larger source’s disseminative capacity contributes to a greater appropriation of knowledge by the receiver and a reduction in the internalization time. Moreover, a larger receiver’s absorptive capacity contributed to a greater appropriation of knowledge and reduced the time taken for internalization. The main contribution is providing a deeper understanding of the knowledge internalization as an effective result in transfer process, including an understanding of the role of absorptive and disseminative capacity in the internalization process. Furthermore, this study provides four propositions to explain the phenomenon.","PeriodicalId":386894,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of The 3rd International Conference on Research in Business, Management and Finance","volume":"103 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-07-02","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123166206","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Specifically, it deals with the impact of a financial crisis on participants' visits to conventional and online erotic shops and to their relevant purchase behavior. It addresses three issues: 1. The impact of the economic crisis on visits to the erotic shops, 2. The impact of the economic crisis on purchasing behavior from an erotic shop, and 3. The purchasing of, or intention to purchase, lower quality erotic products due to the economic crisis. Totally, 152 in-depth interviews were conducted. Results showed that participants experienced the impact of the crisis differently and had diverse visiting and purchase behavior depending on age, marital status, and profession. Based on the results, managerial implications are proposed","PeriodicalId":386894,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of The 3rd International Conference on Research in Business, Management and Finance","volume":"31 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-07-02","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114531601","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Initially the emigration and the remittances were a solution to the chaotic situation in which the country found itself. But after a few years the immigration phenomenon is considered as a negative phenomenon. It was evaluated negatively because those leaving were young people of working age, qualified people and the demographic composition of a country is an element that affects economic development. Today, the countries are thinking about how to take advantage of this inevitable reality brought about by free movement and globalization.Investors of the diaspora are particularly important for developing countrys such as Albania, where foreign investors refuse to invest due to inadequate economic structure, political instability, inadequate infrastructure, etc. Diaspora investors invest because in addition to the profit motive they are inspired by social and emotional factors to invest in their home country. Diaspora investments may also be less vulnerable to capital flight in a time of crisis. For more the diaspora investors play a crucial role in overcoming the isolation of poor countries from the flows of global trade. The purpose of this analysis is to study the contribution of the Albanian diaspora to the development of the economy. Analyzing the role of the diaspora, their involvement in national issues, policies and mechanisms undertaken by the Albanian government for their withdrawal we can evaluate that the Albanian diaspora represents a great opportunity, still little exploited.","PeriodicalId":386894,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of The 3rd International Conference on Research in Business, Management and Finance","volume":"42 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-07-02","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123335021","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
