The use of satellite curves of planetary mechanisms in combination with lever mechanisms allows to obtain a wide range of trajectories of executive bodies. But the use of satellite curves in the mechanisms of the working bodies of some technological machines, the dimensions of which movements lie within 5-30 mm, is connected with a number of limitations. Known mechanisms make it possible to obtain a movement of the executive bodies of at least 50 mm, reducing this limit leads to a decrease in the geometric parameters of gear planetary mechanisms, which leads to the impossibility of ensuring technological efforts, or to the complication of the lever part of gear-lever mechanisms. The development of planetary mechanisms, which will provide the required dimensions of the satellite curves, will allow the creation of gear-lever mechanisms, the trajectories of the movement of the executive organs of which will satisfy the laws of movement of the working organs of the required dimensions. In order to solve the problem of reducing the size of satellite curves, provided that technological efforts are ensured, it is necessary to look for fundamentally new constructive solutions of gear-lever mechanisms. At the same time, it is necessary to strive for simplicity and compactness of machines when transmitting motion in any direction without reducing the accuracy of transmission, which would contribute to the universalization of mechanisms and machines. The work presents the results of the analysis of research methods and existing developments in the design of gear-lever mechanisms, their features are established, which allowed to determine the principles of the formation of structures of universal gear-lever mechanisms for driving the working bodies of technological machines.","PeriodicalId":386560,"journal":{"name":"Herald of Khmelnytskyi National University. The peculiarity of the task statement is that a limited time of signal observation is supposed and additive noise is assumed non-Gaussian with a heavy-tail distribution. This leads to a high probability of abnormal estimates for the conventional signal processing method based on cross-correlation. To decrease this probability, it is proposed to reformulate the task of cross-correlation processing to the task of similarity estimation between two data arrays. This allows using different similarity metrics, particularly those that have less sensitivity to outliers in data (impulse noise), and, thus, provide better robustness for non-Gaussian environments typical for several applications of time delay estimation. More than ten different similarity metrics are considered for the model of the symmetric α-stable distribution describing noise properties. It is shown that some metrics including cosine distance, Hellinger, and some others are able to provide sufficiently better accuracy of time delay estimation both in the sense of less RMSE of normal estimates and probability of abnormal estimates for typical values of α and a wide range of γ values for symmetric α-stable distribution.","PeriodicalId":386560,"journal":{"name":"Herald of Khmelnytskyi National University. The functioning algorithm of the integrated scanning and communication system and the organization scheme of the communication mode using the scanning process based on the proposed generalized model of the integrated scanning and data transmission system are considered. Ways to improve the efficiency of telecommunication systems due to the joint use of communication and scanning tools with the best compromise between scanning characteristics and the bandwidth of the transmission channel are considered. Peculiarities of improving wireless communication systems with regard to high data transfer rates, low latency and wide connection possibilities are studied. In particular, access to other system functions, such as scanning/visualization and localization, is justified. Due to the considered innovative applications, the possibility of increasing the performance of the integrated wireless scanning and communication system (ISAC) is determined. The researched positioning process in 5G is proposed to be expanded due to additional detection functions, in particular with the use of new metrics such as accuracy and resolution. New KPIs in 6G networks are considered, replacing the KPI of positioning accuracy in 5G. As a result, key performance indicators based on different application scenarios are proposed, the accuracy of which should be from 1 to 10 cm, and the resolution should be up to 1 mm. The potential of the new ISAC technology was investigated, in particular, the features of the coexistence of communication and scanning modules in an integrated solution at the system level and methods of increasing the efficiency of coexistence at the system level were considered; justification of a positive result from an integrated system solution for communication and scanning services; advantages and disadvantages of existing communication and scanning systems with implemented integration at the system level. The obtained results of research on the integration of communication and scanning means, in particular: the analysis of the performance of generalized ISAC networks and the conclusions about the fundamental limits of performance obtained for a simple structure made it possible to determine the best compromise between the characteristics of scanning and the bandwidth of the communication channel, provided an opportunity to create practical schemes, which approximate a compromise of waveforms, coding tables, structures and protocols.","PeriodicalId":386560,"journal":{"name":"Herald of Khmelnytskyi National University. It was determined that polymer composite materials based on metal powders, high-strength organic (aramid) and carbon fiber fillers with a polymer matrix are promising for use as structural materials. Fillers are used to improve the operational properties of the composite material (strength, stiffness, heat resistance), give them various specific properties and reduce the cost. The classification of polymer composite materials by matrix and filler is presented. It is noted that the greatest variety of properties can be obtained using solid fillers of different nature (metals, ceramics, polymers) and structures. It has been established that both the type of filler and the shape and size of the particles are important when forming certain properties of polymer composite materials. It was determined that composite materials are used in additive technologies, in particular in 3D printing. Examples of the production of composite filaments by various companies, including various types of fillers, are given. The developed technology of printing with a mixture of polymer connector and filler using a 3D printer, which includes certain stages, is presented. Polymer materials and solid fillers of various nature were selected as the matrix for experimental research and their properties were described. The classification of equipment for forced mixing of materials is described. The developed extruder that prints with granules or composite mixtures of polymer materials and the 3D printer on which it is installed are presented. To date, various types of developed felting machines with complex spatial movement of working containers are known. Each type of such equipment corresponds to the implementation of various felting technological operations – separation of parts from sprues, grinding or polishing of products, cleaning of metal parts from corrosion or mixing of loose fine-dispersed substances. During the operation of the rolling equipment, various reactive loads arise in the kinematic pairs, which depend on the design features of the machines. With the use of the automated design system “SolidWorks”, 3D modeling and further strength research of a model of a rolling machine with a working capacity with complex spatial movement and variable volume was performed. In the kinematic chain of the machine under study, an additional moving connecting rod link with rotational and translational kinematic pairs is used. During the performance of the force study, the reactions in all rotational and translational kinematic pairs were determined, the influence of the change in the interaxial distance of the working capacity and the additional moving link of the connecting rod on the maximum values of the reactions in the kinematic pairs of the machine was investigated. The presented results of analytical studies can be applied in the relevant design bureaus of machine-building enterprises at the stage of designing equipment with complex spatial movement of working capacities and felting technological processes.","PeriodicalId":386560,"journal":{"name":"Herald of Khmelnytskyi National University. Krylik","doi":"10.31891/2307-5732-2023-319-1-175-180","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.31891/2307-5732-2023-319-1-175-180","url":null,"abstract":"A multifactorial dispersion analysis was applied in order to qualitatively assess the influence of the following factors: thickness of the moisture-sensitive layer; the thickness of the polymer coating as a protective layer; the concentration of the NaCl salt solution as an adsorbent material and their combined effect on the sensitivity of the capacitive humidity sensor of the two-layer structure. Capacitive humidity sensors of a two-layer structure, made on a sitall substrate, served as experimental samples. The copper film, which forms the covers of the capacitive humidity sensors, is applied to the surface of the sitall substrate in the form of a meander. In the developed design, the moisture-sensitive layer is hygroscopic salt, which performs the function of a dielectric. A moisture-absorbing film of polymethylmethacrylate serves as a protective layer. A multifactorial plan is developed for the case of three qualitative factors. Using multifactorial dispersion analysis, it was proved that the response of the model, that is, the sensitivity of the capacitive humidity sensor of the two-layer structure, is influenced by such factors as the thickness of the protective layer, the concentration of the NaCl salt solution, as well as the combined effect of factors such as the thickness of the moisture-sensitive layer + the concentration of the salt solution; the thickness of the protective layer + concentration of the salt solution. That is, the difference in the response values of the model is related to the change in the value of the factor and cannot be caused only by its random nature. However, the response of the model is significantly affected by the combined effect of the factor − the thickness of the protective layer + the concentration of the salt solution. In this case, the value of Fisher’s criterion, which is observed in the experiment, significantly exceeds the critical value of Fisher’s criterion F >Fkr (13.01>4.49). The influence of such factors as the thickness of the moisture-sensitive layer; the thickness of the moisture-sensitive layer + the thickness of the protective layer; the thickness of the moisture-sensitive layer + the thickness of the protective layer + the concentration of the salt solution is insignificant, that is, the difference in the response values of the model is due to its random nature. Using the dispersion analysis of the influence of the factor, it was proved that the sensitivity of capacitive humidity sensors is affected not only by the concentration of the NaCl salt solution, which was used to create a moisture-sensitive layer, but also by the design of the sensor.","PeriodicalId":386560,"journal":{"name":"Herald of Khmelnytskyi National University. The conditions of drying and grinding during processing of powders strongly influence the qualitative characteristics of biological materials. Ensuring the quality of vegetable powders requires constant improvement of appropriate drying technologies, which will allow to significantly reduce the duration of processing and improve the quality of the finished product. Solving the problem of tomato powder production is possible by improving the technological scheme and drying by spraying. The main advantage of a vacuum-type dryer is the high quality of the finished product when drying heat-sensitive, easily oxidized raw materials. The paper proposes a technological scheme for drying tomato paste by the spray method to obtain a powder with improved consumption properties, due to the preservation of vitamins, valuable macro- and microelements. A block diagram of the control of the manufacturing process and the HACCP plan (analysis and control of hazardous factors) of tomato paste powder with the establishment of control and control-critical points on it are given, which allow to fully control the entire process of the production of a safe food product in accordance with the principles of HACCP. The main advantage of a vacuum-type dryer is the high quality of the finished product. Dehydration of tomato paste granules, taking into account the maximum preservation of valuable nutrients in the product at different coolant temperatures, led to the high quality of the finished product.","PeriodicalId":386560,"journal":{"name":"Herald of Khmelnytskyi National University. Macro-simulation allows for analyzing overall traffic flow without reproducing the movement of individual vehicles in detail. It enables a quick evaluation of different scenarios for the development of the transportation network and determining the effectiveness of road traffic management strategies. The transportation model of the city enables analyzing the load on the road network in the current state and predicting this parameter for scenarios of implementing new infrastructure projects. Examples of load maps for the road network of Vinnytsia and an individual transport hub are shown from the transportation model of the city. Micro-modeling is the process of creating a mathematical model for a detailed analysis of vehicle movement in small areas (intersections, street sections, enterprise areas, etc.). An example of micro-modeling results for one intersection is presented. The application of micro-modeling in evaluating changes to the transportation network is an effective tool that allows municipalities to avoid inefficient use of funds and transportation mistakes that worsen traffic conditions. The effect of the selected precursors on the structural parameters of each synthesized sample was evaluated using X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis. The results of the analysis demonstrate the synthesized ZnO phase with a hexagonal wurtzite structure and the average crystallite size of 28 nm for both studied samples. Based on the XRD data, the interplanar spacing, crystallite size, dislocation density, and micro strain were determined for different crystallographic planes. Analysis of the obtained values shows slight differences in the formed crystalline materials depending on the used precursor. The calculated structural parameters of the synthesized ZnO nanoparticles are in good agreement with the standard reported data (JCPDS 36-1451). The effect of selected precursors on the lattice constants, unit cell volume, Zn–O bond length, and crystallinity of synthesized ZnO samples was studied. It was established that the sample obtained from the zinc acetate dihydrate precursor is characterized by the absence of impurities and higher crystallinity (93%) compared to the sample synthesized from zinc chloride, the crystallinity of which is 86%. The results are of practical value for simple synthesis of nano dispersed forms of ZnO and its possible application in textile finishing.","PeriodicalId":386560,"journal":{"name":"Herald of Khmelnytskyi National University.
