The study applied the willingness-to-pay choice technique and a logistic regression model to analyze the dataset. \u0000Findings: The findings revealed that the most desirable attributes influencing households’ consumption preferences for local rice were nutritional quality and taste. At the time of data collection, consumers were also willing to pay ₦4.26 ($0.012) and ₦2.80 ($0.008) respectively for every unit improvement in those attributes. \u0000Conclusion: The study concluded that attainment of zero hunger in Nigeria is desirable and achievable by boosting local production of high-quality rice to attract sufficient demand. \u0000Practical Implications: This study underscored the effort needed to improve local rice production in Nigeria which should be targeted at improving the desired attributes to make indigenous (Ofada) rice attractive to consumers. This can be driven by stepping up investment in the rice value chain with adequate attention given to the processing stage where quality control and standards remain a top-most priority. \u0000Contribution to the Literature: This study presents a unique perspective by isolating and highlighting the desirable attributes of rice consuming households because these attributes played a critical role in the preference for local rice consumption.

The data collection technique employed in this study involves a questionnaire distributed to 600 respondents, determined through incidental sampling. \u0000Findings: Service quality, while the services provided by the Monkey Forest staff are well-received by tourists; destination image, while the attractiveness of Monkey Forest tourist attractions is unique and appealing; and the beauty of the natural landscape. Tourist satisfaction exerts a positive and significant influence on e-WoM, while a satisfied traveler with the image and service quality of the monkey forest destination is willing to engage in marketing through electronic word of mouth. Additionally, two moderation relationships are discovered: the relationship between service quality and e-WoM, which is positively and significantly influenced by the variable of tourist satisfaction, and the clause relationship, wherein destination image positively and significantly influences e-WoM, with tourist satisfaction as a moderating variable. \u0000Conclusions: So, it can be concluded that there are five clause relationships between variables as hypotheses, including three direct effects and two moderating relationships (indirect effects). \u0000Research Limitations: The limitations of this research lie in the limited coverage of the research object, focusing on either a specific area or solely on one destination. \u0000Practical Implications: The implication of this study on the e-WoM variable, which serves as an endogenous variable, significantly impacts the Normated Fit Index, albeit within reasonable limits.

Increasing the availability of healthier snack alternatives might help consumers view snacks as foods that support health. \u0000Design/Methodology/Approach: The current experimental study aimed to determine the nutritional, functional and sensory properties of home-baked cupcakes encouraged with six variants with indigenous flaxseed flour (FF) and flaxseed oil (FO) in 10, 15 and 30% of batter substitution. A one-way ANOVA, least significant difference and Pearson’s correlation were applied using IBM SPSS version 21.0. \u0000Findings: Proximate analysis indicated an increase in ash, fiber and protein contents as compared to the standard formulation. The highest ash (1.91±0.26%), fiber (1.09±0.01%) and protein contents (3.08±0.30%) were observed in the sample FF30 (30% flaxseed flour). The cupcakes with 30% flaxseed oil had a significantly greater fat content (35.91±0.55%) and hence a total calorie value of 221.00±3.17%. Antioxidant activity and phenol content of fortified cupcakes ranged from 32.88–76.02% and 22–80 mgGAE/100 gms respectively. The sensory evaluation proved FF15 and FO30 to be the most acceptable recipes. \u0000Conclusion: Minor recipe alterations to snacks may yield large and long-term health benefits especially promoting immunity and reducing the risk of inflammatory chronic illnesses. Flaxseed oil might be used in snacks substituting for other vegetable oils to enhance the essential fatty acid content without compromising its acceptability. New formulations could therefore be tested to develop foods fortified with higher proportions of functional and nutritious ingredients especially given the ever-increasing prevalence of chronic illnesses.

Therefore, this paper examines the correlation between carbon emission reduction and financial performance in energy firms. \u0000Design/Methodology/Approach: A two-way fixed-effects model is developed using data from 33 Chinese energy-listed companies between 2015 and 2020. \u0000Findings: The benchmark regression results show that improving a company's carbon emission reduction performance leads to better financial performance. Moreover, assuming corporate responsibility for reducing emissions can boost companies' reputations and foster better relationships with stakeholders. The trustworthiness of the standard regression outcome is validated through alternative independent variables, reducing time frames, and incorporating previously omitted factors. The results of heterogeneity analyses show that reducing carbon emissions has the same effect on financial performance across all regional characteristics and equity subgroups. Furthermore, the internal transmission mechanism analysis reveals that female leadership positively moderates the effect, while financing constraints negatively moderate the relationship between carbon emission reduction performance and financial performance. \u0000Conclusion: Under the national green development strategy of achieving carbon neutrality and carbon peaking, the carbon information disclosure system should be improved by the government; enterprises should implement innovative methods for low-carbon economic management and operation; and regulators should establish effective green regulations, incentives, and constraints. This paper offers a comprehensive guide for energy companies and their stakeholders to reduce carbon emissions, thereby achieving sustainability.
