The project’s goal is to manage the local power grid operations in a way that allows locally produced energy to be consumed locally. This local optimised consumption is done by using currently available devices. Further, we want to analyse accruing data streams and optimise the usage of local devices to manage this time-base shifted consumption scenario by implementing a non-hard real-time processing system. In this paper, we outline the project’s primary objectives from a technical point of view. First, we present “Wohnungswirtschaftlich integrierte netzneutrale Elektromobilitat in Quartier und Region” (WINNER) and some related research projects. We describe the integration tasks, the data sources, and sinks. So, a project overview can be given. Afterwards, we compare our approach and already developed technologies. Requirements are derived from the system overview. According to them, we can outline an architectural view of the core component of data stream processing within this scenario. Finally, the results are discussed, and consequences are drawn.","PeriodicalId":382952,"journal":{"name":"J. of Electrical Engineering","volume":"50 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-02-08","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116493393","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

If there exist more distributed generators in the distribution network, the dispatch strategy becomes more crucial. The possibility of having numerous controllable microgrids, diesel generator (DG) units and loads for microgrids (MGs) system requires an efficient dispatch strategy in order to balance supply demand for reducing the total cost of the integrated system. In this paper, a method for the dispatch of the distributed generator in distributed power systems has been proposed. The dispatch strategy is such that it keeps a flat voltage profile, reduces the network losses, increases the maximum loading and voltage security margin of the system. The procedure is based on the analysis of continuous power flow. The method is executed on a 34-bus test system. The MATLAB based PSAT packages are used for simulation purpose.","PeriodicalId":382952,"journal":{"name":"J. of Electrical Engineering","volume":"40 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-09-08","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121166962","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Our model network has L hidden layers of two inputs and three, four to six output training using BP (backpropagation) neural network. We used logic functions of XOR (exclusive OR), OR, AND, NAND (not AND), NXOR (not exclusive OR) and NOR (not OR) as the multi logic teacher signals to evaluate the training performance of MLNNs by an activity function for information and data enlargement in signal processing (synaptic divergence state). We specifically used four activity functions from which we modified one and called it L & exp. function as it could give the highest training abilities compared to the original activity functions of Sigmoid, ReLU and Step during simulation and training in the network. And finally, we propose L & exp. function as being good for MLNNs and it may be applicable for signal processing of data and information enlargement because of its performance training characteristics with multiple training logic patterns hence can be adopted in machine deep learning.","PeriodicalId":382952,"journal":{"name":"J. of Electrical Engineering","volume":"14 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-09-08","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114645129","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, solo use of these schemes does not necessarily work well and has vulnerability. To complement the property of the traitor tracing schemes, it is effective to use watermarking scheme with them and the watermarking schemes with light load are required. A number of video watermarking methods with light load have been proposed that embed information into compressed video streams. When the compression scheme is MPEG2-Video, its codes are mostly pre-defined using coding tables, and therefore, information can be embedded in the compressed stream by substituting some of the codes. On the other hand, HEVC/H.265 uses arithmetic coding (CABAC) and it is not easy to substitute one code for another in a stream. To deal with this problem, a watermarking scheme for HEVC/H.265 video streams is proposed. It embeds information while the video is being encoded. A broadcasting system incorporating the scheme is also proposed.","PeriodicalId":382952,"journal":{"name":"J. of Electrical Engineering","volume":"122 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-09-08","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123770134","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Both tools are available for research and non-commercial purposes. Inductors are key components esp. for impedance matching and are designed such that they would exhibit a high Q-factor (quality-factor) for the specific inductance and frequency range of operation. A sample value of 5.3 nH is set for this paper for the spiral inductor design using the tools. For optimum Q-factor, an octagonal geometry for spiral inductor is used for ASITIC design, to have a close comparison to that of the SpiralCalc. Design methodologies for the optimization of the spiral inductor parameters such as the inductance and the Q-factor are discussed. Results comparison between the two tools is also presented. Design tradeoffs between inductor parameters are inevitable, and these parameters affect the performance of the inductor esp. at higher frequencies. With this, it is crucial that inductors be designed carefully for their effective frequency range of operation and specific requirements of the intended application.","PeriodicalId":382952,"journal":{"name":"J. of Electrical Engineering","volume":"49 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-09-08","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126158261","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Autonomous vehicles have ACC (adaptive or advanced cruise control) system also called ICC (intelligent cruise control) or AICC (adaptive intelligent cruise control) system. These vehicles are suitable to follow other vehicles on desired distance and to be organized in platoons. To be able to do research to the control and stability of an AGV (automated guided vehicles) string, a car-following model is being determined. To do this, first a single vehicle is modelled and since all cars in the platoon have the same dynamics, the single vehicle model is copied ten times to form model of platoon (string) with ten vehicles. To control this string, equal PID (proportional-integral-derivative) controllers are applied to all vehicles, except the leading vehicle. These controllers try to keep the headway distance as constant as possible and the velocity between subsequent vehicles error small. For control of vehicle with nonlinear dynamics combination of feedforward control and feedback control approach is used. Feedforward control is based on inverse model of nominal dynamics of the vehicle, and feedback PID control is designed on base of linearized model of the vehicle. For simulation and analysis of vehicle and platoon of vehicles Matlab/Simulink models are designed. Simulation results, discussions and conclusions are given at the end of the paper.","PeriodicalId":382952,"journal":{"name":"J. of Electrical Engineering","volume":"36 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-09-08","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121317422","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

ESD damage to units can cause permanent or latent product failures which results in low final test yield, and worse, possible external customer complaints. The use of CO2 (carbon dioxide) bubbler was able to reduce the DI (deionized) water’s equivalent resistivity from 17 MΩ to 0.30 MΩ, minimizing the tribocharging effect produced during the waterjet deflash process. Moreover, ESD events were eliminated by grounding the floating assembly equipment parts and installing appropriate ESD controls. It is of high importance to reduce or eliminate the leakage current failures to ensure the product quality, especially as the market becomes more demanding. After the optimization and implementation of the corrective and improvement actions, high leakage current occurrence was significantly reduced from baseline of 5,784 ppm to 20 ppm.","PeriodicalId":382952,"journal":{"name":"J. of Electrical Engineering","volume":"3 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-07-08","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116174951","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
