This development is able to result in a series of URI to access the data resources of the condition of the plantation environment as the support of monitoring system in oil palm plantation. {"title":"Static test and simulation of hip joint prosthesis","authors":"Suyitno, Lucas Sutomo","doi":"10.1109/INAES.2017.8068566","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.1109/INAES.2017.8068566","url":null,"abstract":"The objectives of this project are to determine the behaviour to withstand a load that is gradually increased in one position such as standing on one leg and finding the methodology in conducting this experiment. The observation is mainly focused on the UHMWPE acetabular cup. The prosthesis was made by the assembly of Titanium grade-2 femoral stem, SS316L femoral ball, and UHMWPE acetabular cup. The simulation was performed in the finite element software called Abaqus CAE 6.11. Both of the results were compared in the form of two graphs, after the three experiment results were averaged and the simulation data result was acquired. It can be concluded that the cause of this linear value is because of the acetabular cup which is not fitted yet with the femoral head. The average value of the three experiments is calculated and the data value is presented in a graph. It can be seen that the simulation graph is linearly shaped and after the 1.5 mm of displacement, the graph has an upward curved shape. The experimental average graph is upward curved shaped from the start and is located below the simulation graph and the gap between them is getting smaller as the displacement increased. Both graphs have the same trendline and are intersects at around the 1.5 mm displacement. The experimental graph curve stops to increase steeply after the intersection; reducing the gap between them.
