Lukić","doi":"10.51257/a-v1-c2542","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.51257/a-v1-c2542","url":null,"abstract":"Une structure est composee de details constructifs : elle peut etre defaillante lorsqu’au moins un des details constructifs atteint un des etats limites ultimes. Parmi ces etats limites figure l’etat limite de fatigue. Ce dernier traduit la fissuration progressive, due a des charges repetees en un tres grand nombre de cycles dans le temps. Passe un certain seuil de fissuration, il risque de se produire un phenomene de rupture. Nota le terme « etat limite de fatigue » n’est pas officialise dans les Eurocodes. Par contre, d’autres documents peuvent s’y referer. L’amorcage d’une fissure se produit necessairement a partir d’un defaut. Dans le cas d’une piece d’apparence lisse, la fissure peut prendre naissance a partir de defauts microscopiques a l’echelle du grain, ou de defauts de bord dus a l’oxycoupage, au percage, etc. Dans le cas des pieces avec des soudures, c’est plutot a partir d’un defaut dans un cordon de soudure qu’une fissure peut s’amorcer (inclusion solide ou gazeuse, retassure, crique, etc.). Ces defauts, combines aux entailles causees par le changement plus ou moins brusque de la geometrie du au cordon de soudure, sont plus importants que ceux dans les pieces sans soudures. La verification a la fatigue, qui sert a se premunir de toute fissuration, peut se reveler determinante dans le cas des ponts, des chemins de roulement, des structures tres elancees exposees au vent, ou des structures hydrauliques. Elle est inutile pour les bâtiments courants soumis a des actions comme le vent ou la neige considerees comme quasi-statiques. Pour effectuer une verification a la fatigue, la reference est generalement faite a la norme NF EN 1993-1-9 , « Calcul des structures en acier – Partie 1-9 : Fatigue ». Mais d’autres Eurocodes donnent quelques details supplementaires concernant cette verification pour des structures pouvant etre susceptibles a la fatigue, comme par exemple les ponts, les pylones, les mâts, les cheminees ou les chemins de roulement. Le calcul de la propagation de fissures est aborde, mais sans grande precision, dans la NF EN 1993-1-10 , ou plutot dans son document de reference SEDLACEK (G.) et al - Commentary and worked examples to EN 1993-1-10 « Material toughness and through thickness properties », and other toughness oriented rules in EN 1993 , . Le fait de devoir avoir recours a differentes parties de l’Eurocode 1 pour les charges de fatigue, et a differentes parties de l’Eurocode 3 pour la verification proprement dite, rendent assez complexe la comprehension de la demarche de verification. C’est pourquoi il est souhaitable de regrouper toutes les informations sur ce sujet dans un seul et meme document.
