One of the factors that affect the result of one’s learning is the media and interest. The objective of this study is to find out the effects of presentation slide, demonstration, video and interest of learning ASKEB I. They affect toward the Cognitive Assessment by Midwifery students semester IV in STIKES Maranatha Kupang, 2016. This study is using cross sectional method with quantitative approach. 120 respondents taken using total sampling method. Analysis method applied in this study is Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) method using SmartPLS 2.0 dan SPSS 18. The results of hypothesis test show variables that directly affect the cognitive assessment. (42.47% towards the learning media and 28.68% towards the learning interest). On the other hand, there is 4.05% variable found, affecting the learning media in cognitive assessment via learning interest. The Q-Square test results showing the analysis model conducted in this study is able to explain 87.48% of the phenomenon researched. The 12.51% rest is the factors that are not taken in this research. This is showing that there is correlation between learning media and learning interest toward cognitive assessment. It is expected that all the parties increase the learning interest and update more variable learning media to get good achievement.","PeriodicalId":380721,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Ultimate Public Health","volume":"14 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-05-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"117165864","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The result of statistical test shows that there is a significant difference between the knowledge and the students' attitude before and after being given health counseling value p value 0,000 ≤ α 0,05. From the group multivariate GLM outcomes given extension both to improve the knowledge and attitude of students (p value = 0,000) and the value of each knowledge and attitude of students 33,056 and 12,722. The study population was elderly above 60 years old who lived in Tresna Werdha Nursing Home (PSTW) in Yogyakarta with a sample size of 147 elderly. Data collection using the Mini-Mental State Examination (MMSE) questionnaire and observation sheet. Multivariate analysis with multiple logistic regression.Results: The independence of the Basic Activity Daily Living (BadL) is measured by the Katz Index and the Instrumental Activity Daily Living (IADL) with the Lawton-Brody scale. The results are 22.4% of elderly dependence on BadL and 25.2% of elderly dependence on IADL. Elderly who did not perform physical activity 10.48 times the risk of experiencing dependence in BadL Compared to elderly who do physical activity (p-value = 0.000; OR = 10:48; 95% CI: 2.83-38.81). Elderly with a history of chronic disease is at risk of 8:25 times dependent on IADL Compared with the elderly without a history of chronic disease (p = 0.046; OR = 8.25; 95% CI: 1.04-65.57).Conclusion: The conclusion is Physical activity, age, and nutritional status in BadL dependence Affect while the history of chronic diseases, physical activity, and age Affects dependence in IADL.
