Thus the problem of energy trapping in composite microwave HBARs is solved analytically. The important feature of the calculation of such structures for microwaves is the necessity of taking into account wave properties of piezoelectric films and electrodes because their thickness is comparable with wavelength in the material.","PeriodicalId":380710,"journal":{"name":"2006 Multiconference on Electronics and Photonics","volume":"45 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124913540","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this paper, we investigate and develop a system (hardware and software) for TIE measurements. The system contains two TIE counters, a divider of frequency, reference rubidium clock, local crystal clock, and GPS timing receiver. Applied software provides reading and processing the TIE and decodes the negative sawtooth from the GPS timing receiver. The objective is to estimate the TIE of a local clock with and without the sawtooth correction.","PeriodicalId":380710,"journal":{"name":"2006 Multiconference on Electronics and Photonics","volume":"72 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131023861","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The developed software performs the numerical ray-tracing of light propagation in the transducer. It allows one to calculate the optical transmission in the transducer as a function of the refractive index of the surrounding medium. The software allows one to analyze the detection elements having a smooth working surface of the second order of any of the following shapes: a segment of a sphere, ellipsoid, and paraboloid. Our results generalize previous work [1], [2] where the element geometry was a hemisphere. We validate our software with known analytical solutions.","PeriodicalId":380710,"journal":{"name":"2006 Multiconference on Electronics and Photonics","volume":"27 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122451116","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The results extend our first studies and we show how the ratio of radii and direction of main curvature of a piezoelectric plate surface both affect the frequency shifts and amplitude distributions. We notice that the direction of the main curvature causes a substantial influence upon localization of self-vibrations. The dependence in this case is closer to the linear one, although it still needs more profound investigations for the surfaces with different geometries.","PeriodicalId":380710,"journal":{"name":"2006 Multiconference on Electronics and Photonics","volume":"55 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128805851","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Experiments were made in planar ferrite film - dielectric substrate structures in the range of magnetic fields and frequencies where exchange MSW (spin-wave resonances) are in phase synchronism with transversal acoustic waves (i.e. spin-wave resonances have the same wavelength as transversal acoustic modes wavelength). Strong oscillations of the nonlinear threshold has been revealed in the narrow range of the spectrum which are due to strong reconstruction of the spectrum which results in reconstruction of the each mode and the secondary waves modification.","PeriodicalId":380710,"journal":{"name":"2006 Multiconference on Electronics and Photonics","volume":"4 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123752297","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The Raman electromagnetic enhancement ensured by the surface roughness of different metals (Au, Ag or Al) permitted the monitoring of the optical and spectroscopic properties of ultra-thin polymer layers. In particular, in the case of a novel carbazolyldiacetylene deposited by self assembling on rough silver films or used as a capping agent for gold nanoparticles and subsequently polymerized by UV radiation, SERS experiments permitted detection of two polymer phases, characterized by a different degree of order in the polymer backbone: the highly conjugated blue phase and the less-extended red conformation.","PeriodicalId":380710,"journal":{"name":"2006 Multiconference on Electronics and Photonics","volume":"42 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"117246845","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Both are artificial intelligence processes for tackling real-world problems. Planning studies action-selection for obtaining good quality plans. On the other hand, scheduling studies the suitable resources application in any plan. However, when the AI planning community has tried to solve real-world problems, they have seen the necessity to combine both planning and scheduling techniques. Additionally, in the state-of-the-art, there are two approaches to solve these problems: extended planning and extended scheduling. The first approach results in a high computational complexity, and the second approach uses a rigid plan template (embedded planner) avoiding the possibility of re-planning. Otherwise, our system homogeneously solves resources conflicts, in a flexible design with a strongly coupled form. Consequently, this model promises to be efficiently enough to obtain executable and consistent plans.","PeriodicalId":380710,"journal":{"name":"2006 Multiconference on Electronics and Photonics","volume":"22 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127996489","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
