The next-generation passive optical network (NG-PON) can break the bandwidth bottleneck of the access network and has become one of the important research topics in the field of the optical access network. In this paper, the architectures of NG-PON are investigated. Four kinds of one-dimensional PON architectures (TDM-PON, WDM-PON, OFDM-PON, and SDM-PON) and three multiple-dimensional PON architectures (WDM-TDM PON, MDM-TDM PON, SDM-MDM PON) are introduced. The key technologies and problems of these architectures are discussed in detail.","PeriodicalId":380426,"journal":{"name":"2021 2nd International Conference on Computing and Data Science (CDS)","volume":"44 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123766265","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

So far, there are no robots on the market that can automatically complete the charging process for different models, because a single robotic arm can only insert and remove the charging gun at a fixed position, and the charging port position of different models is different. This paper proposes a mobile robot charging system based on computer vision, which consists of a rail and a mobile robot equipped with a mechanical arm. First, the vehicle model is judged by the camera mounted on the mobile robot, the corresponding position of the charging port is found on the track, and then the robot is moved to this position, and the insertion and removal of the charging gun is completed through the camera and the mechanical arm. This system has verified the feasibility and the robustness of the algorithm through visual recognition and prototype testing.","PeriodicalId":380426,"journal":{"name":"2021 2nd International Conference on Computing and Data Science (CDS)","volume":"13 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127195466","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The receiving and sending of multiple antennas can provide more stable information transmission and larger information transmission capacity, and improve the network speed. Beneficial from the great success in the field of artificial intelligence, mobile robot research has received much inspiration for autonomy path planning. Although state-of-art object detection algorithms, such as YOLO, Mask-RCNN, can detect and classify targets from robot view, complicated tasks require an autonomous robot that has the capability to adjust its viewpoint and self-decide anchor targets to get better detection results. In this paper, a method is proposed to help an agent learn what actions to take according to detected objects in its viewpoint. The agent is also able to search objects in different rooms and indoor environments only with prior knowledge of potential objects in a room. Experimental results indicate that our active searching approach can help agents learn active room selection and adjust viewpoint to receive better object detection results.","PeriodicalId":380426,"journal":{"name":"2021 2nd International Conference on Computing and Data Science (CDS)","volume":"43 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133545618","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, there is no research which studies the influence of glass factor in facial recognition system. This paper provides a comprehensive review of glass factor. The study contains two steps: data collection and accuracy test. Data collection includes collecting human face images through different situations, such as clear glasses, glass with water and glass with mist. Based on the collected data, an existing state-of-the-art face detection and recognition system built upon MTCNN and Inception V1 deep nets is tested for further analysis. Experimental data supports that 1) the system is robust for classification when comparing real-time images and 2) it fails at determining if two images are of same person by comparing real-time disturbed image with the frontal ones.","PeriodicalId":380426,"journal":{"name":"2021 2nd International Conference on Computing and Data Science (CDS)","volume":"45 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133276341","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Governments have not yet decided on an optimal plan to defend from COVID-19 due to lack of previous experience with such large-scale pandemics. Neither have researchers published a holistic approach of anticontagion policy analysis. In order to explore the middle ground of minimized negative effects on health and economy, this paper evaluated 1,637 non-pharmaceutical anti-contagion policies from sub-regions in China, France, Italy, and South Korea. Inspired by previous research [1] [2], we utilized reduced-form approach and Computable General Equilibrium (CGE) model in the field of macroeconomics to calculate the effect of each individual policy on infection and GDP growth rates. These methods are based on filtered financial accounts (i.e. social accounting matrices) obtained from Global Trade Analysis Project (GTAP) database along with a published G-Cubed (G20) model, as well as the epidemiological data concerning the national conditions of each aforementioned country. We complete more than 1,000 random samplings and iterations to average the policy coefficients of infection and GDP growth rates and minimize their standard errors. The major observation on the results is that an early implementation of travel ban for 2 weeks will effectively undermine the spread of COVID-19 at a low economic price. In addition, some policies (e.g. social distancing) require adjustment in their duration or range to improve their price-performance ratio (here, economic-health ratio). This form of hybrid policy analysis not only prevents further infectivity, but also ensures the stability of the global economy.","PeriodicalId":380426,"journal":{"name":"2021 2nd International Conference on Computing and Data Science (CDS)","volume":"5 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115178354","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
